I don't get moved by fanfics quite easily but there are some fanfics that just become dear to us within momentz.. This is indeed one of them!! My personal favorite of all your writings thus far, this one not only brought tears in my eyes but an intense yearning of having Iqbal back as Shiv and realizing his love for Gauri in the similar way that u narrated here.. *sniffles* Yaar, this is not fair!! Not fair to us!! We adore Iqbal so much and all we wanted was more of him as Shiv Kapoor.. Alas, our dreams were shattered and I had even started coping with the reality but then u waltz in with such wicked imagination of yours and ... the longing of having Iqbal as Shiv comes back to haunt me more!! Not fair yaar.. But amazing piece of writing there. I felt almost like witnessing it on t.v. Would make an excellent screenplay, ya know! I won't be surprised if they actually use some of your dialogues (hehehehe)..
Sana, I know how you feel... when I started penning it down, it was this picture of Iqbal Khan as Shiv.. in my mind and in the room.. staring at the picture of Gauri ... and well then the thoughts flowed...I jus wanted to capture one emotion of Shiv Kapoor and that was longing, it wasnt jus for SHiv , but of a man... who is longing for the woman , his life... to come back...

THis particular FF has a part of me in it , that I have imbibed as Shiv's character... wonder if that was apparent.. but well.... couldnt help it... I jus felt the emotion that the man himself was feeling and...well... jaise mehsoos kiya waise hi likh bhi diya!
Not fair ? I am sorry.... I didnt mean to... I know... but this FF was with IQ in mind as SHiv... and I could picture his expressions so vividly... He sure is gifted to leave a lasting impression on all of us with this histrionics!
Keep 'em coming, Sareeta. These fanfics or videos are now the only way to remember Iqbal. Even if he's back, he probably won't be opposite Pallavi. So this is all we are going to get of Shiv Kapoor (Iqbal) for now! Bless your heart for an incredible fanfic!! Simply brilliant!
