A La Silsila.....Ahemmm!!

Post Episode thoughts:

After draining down a hot cup of tea, to get my brain working back again, after it stopped dead , trying to make sense of KAA , a convoluted logic for a story and characters with equally convoluted twisted brains! Gosh.... !!! Somebody help... me.. Why am I even watching this serial... I was better off... additcted to my cute lil idiot box.. that world refers as a computer by the way...😆, but these serials of Ekta( I used to watch KS and now KAA) ... seem like a cruel wicked addiction... Damn!!! 😆... I got to do something to get out... possibly another vacation... not a bad idea eh?

Oh well, coming back to the episode and story , seems like a La silsila is in the making....what with Anupam proposing marriage to Isphi...(Is it jus me or .. is it true, that Ipshi appears a lil too much of seductress... and a Sensual beauty... a La Chandni of Silsila... )

CHandni ( Aka Rekha Ji) - Ipshita, ooh... she right from day one, reminds me of Chandni of Silsila... the sensual , premika... ahem!!! Or so it was depicted!!😉

Shashi Kapoor ( I am yet to figure out .... someone out to be dead in KAA ?? Hmm... Ahem... let me rack my brains to figure that one out....) Anupam.. nahin... kyon wo abhi bhi zinda hai.. aur uska Gauri ke saath affair tho nahin hai... ( original ishtory.. you see)

Chandni's Hunny..the Doctor Ji..( FOrgot the name) - Sanjeev Kapoor... Aka our very own Anupam BHattacharya....

Unwed Mom...(Forgot the character name...)Jaya Bacchan...Gauri.... the woman who so patiently tries to win the looooooooooove of her hubby....who is too busy lost in the memories of Chandni... walking around like a desolate Devdas....

And last but in no way least....Kavi Saaheb.. Amitabh Ji....Amit... Our very own Shiv Kapoor....hmm....

Awwwright guys... for all the people with senti .. ments.. and weak hearts and overactive tear glands... get the tissues ready.... and for the others like me , who enjoy short power naps during a drag of a movie, get ready ... and lookforward to those really powerful short naps that would leave you totally refreshed in this case.. during the episode.... 😆

😆 sareeta ji that was a gud laugh 😆 😆 but silsila was a very nice movie...i wish ekta mai ne iss movie par rahem kiya hota...i totally agree wid ur last line "a sad tribute to the original" main toh kahungi a dreadful tribute to the original...... 😡
can i suggest who wud b shashi kapoor ji: i guess shashank...after all hez close to dead 😉

*sighs*... a world turned upside down... are the clouds pouring yet?... This makes me wanna laugh and cry and the same time!!... I ask, "what happened to reality?"... The lights seemed to have faded... Nonetheless, I watch it for dearest Pallavi. The actor has done exceptionally well for a beginner. Her depictions of the character are vividly real, the raw emotions... transparency. Its very convincing. As for Yash, well... All I'm gonna say is no one beats my Mirchy!! (my dubbed name for Iqu as Shiv)... I miss him 😭

This is indeed a great analysis. I only watch it for Pallavi, the serial has come to a point where I feel really bad and sad for Pallavi.. I mean she is such a brilliant actress with so much potential to carry the role, and it is such a shame that her talent is getting being shredded.... 😡 😡

as you and nazrin has said a sad and dreadful tribute to the original story if ekta is going a la silsila way...

first i thought it will be like "hddcs" par ab tho jaisa aap ne kaha"remake of silsila"aur aghe bhagwan jane'kabhie alvida na kahena" na ho jaye..

kahethe hein na ab tho ram hi bachaye...

btw where has gone the character "ram "...

i think he too has gone for a long drive like the original story....

but ipshita is not like rekha (not even close to rekha) noone can die for her

Wow Sareeta darlin..that was amazingly put in words with the right dose of humor incorporated in it. La Silsila.. I never watched that movie (dude, I was way young at the time I think or did it come before I was born?? *scratches head*). But all I know is this: Ekta serials don't make sense, are never simple in their concept and are still addicting because of her good sense of casting most of the times (although I am still trying to decipher the logic behind casting Yash.. Nothing against him.. Good actor but not the right choice as Shiv Kapoor..). Another thing I know is that my Pallavi rocks and for her sake, I am willing to put up with anything. The day she walks out will be the day I quit KAA. I won't be able to take my two sweethearts becoming dust in the thin air around me.. So for now, she keeps me going. And hopefully, the story will improve soon too. I am an optimist and I will continue to have hopes with KAA, even if that means defying the logic and other norms. Guess I am a die-hard fan, eh 😉.

But kya kahna aapka.. Let's see if the original prediction of this serial following Silsila's storyline becomes true or not. If it does, it will be boring as hell since we all know what's in store for us in the future. But I'd like to have twists and turns around it. Hey, here is an idea.. A hopeless romantic and a die-hard fan is still hoping for Iqbal to return to KAA one day.. Perhaps..yash (shiv) has a fraternal twin in the form of a new character played by Iqbal ji and stepping into play for being the candle in Gauri's dark world.. Wishful thinking? Yes, I am aware of that.. But hey, a gal can dream at least, right? 😳
