Strange Disconnect...

Gauri ... the name , when he said it, the voice had a pathos so deeply touching.. it evoked pain.... his pain.... his depths shook , trembled when he mouthed her name... for she had touched the depths of his heart...

Yet when he speaks to Ipshita, it seems to have a strange disconnect... a emotion felt nevertheless, but never a pathos of losing her , or hurting her... a strange disconnect of the depths of his own self with the name once he belived was his life...

The pain was intense for having hurt Gauri , not Ipshita...

Even in this desperation, the pain he gives Gauri hurts him, but not the pain, Ipshita is feeling having to see her love... tied in a bond with another....

The disconnect in the last lines mouthed by Shiv was tooo apparent...

Beautifully put. Perhaps he can't reconcile that although he once loved Ipshita and thought he would forever, his understanding of love has changed since he's met Gauri. Her sacrifice, is love in its purest form. And now, he can't seem to compare his supposed, child-like infatuation with the young girl in the portrait, with the mature love of his wife. The pain he feels stems from his guilt, and perhaps also from his inability to justify, any longer, that his love is more worthy of saving than hers.

If they have truly destroyed the sanctity of Shivs character, then the creatives really have lost their marbles!

What really gets me, is how everyone else -- Ipshita, Nikhila, are all able to so easily justify his happiness and his love for Gauri over her life!

She's such a scapegoat!!

very well said sareetha👏that scene was very touching😭......it was like he was forcing himself to accept he loves the shit of that woman😡thanks to iq for such a wonderful performance...am glad he is leaving the show.

Sadly Gauri does appear as the scape goat , but she was , is and remains , the only guiding light to what is the true essence of Love, life and pure being and truth of life...For SHiv, Nikhila and the rest of the family....

Very touching sareeta di. Oh but I am not sure so IP-SHIT is that portrait girl, even though he didnt say it we know it is right, because Shiv said he only loves that portrait girl so it has to be IP-SHIT right. But this is very confusing. Shiv also said many women came into his lives after the portrait girl, why would he continue dating, if he found true love in IP-SHIT. What was he doing did he and IP-SHIT have a on and off relationship. But you know after all this Gauri could still be that portrait girl, shiv thinks he loves IP-SHIT, but what happens when he finds out Gauri was actually his true first love. Shiv would dump that IP-SHIT so fast. Oh ekta please we beg you make Gauri the portrait girl, atleast there will be some sanctity in their relationship after all this betrayal. 😭

Ypu have portrait Shiv's pain and worry about Gauri very well, Sareeta di. 👏

He better think of Gauri right now, after what he and his beloved one has done to her.
