Hi I live in US and used to love B&B and santa barbara when they first came in India and then its started to get disgusting and I stopped watching.
Then soaps started in India and I thought with our indian culture and heritage we couldnt ruin soaps like the americans did becoz their culture wasnt as pure and as old as ours.
Guess what...likes of ekta kapoor are cashing in on this very same culture of ours and ruining in to smithereens.......
Simple minded housewives who were taught otherwise by their parents seem to think that the serials are the norm of our society and think they have the permission to do this.
Yes there are weird things happening in some real life household which ekta had spouted out in her first melodrama KSBKBT. But that household is one off......not all households are like that.
But now with ekta serials ...all the households will believe that its normal.
Ekta is ruining our indian culture and making money off of it.
I hope she is able to sleep peacefully knowing she is like a termite destroying the base of our culture.
