"Beta why didn't you tell us in Mumbai?" he asked looking at her as she stared at her hands.
"I wanted to tell you here away from everyone", she replied.
She could feel his disappointment and didn't want to look at him as she felt she was going to break down in any minute. He sat down next to her and put his arm around her "I am sorry" his voice quivered as he looked at his daughter. He had tied her to a bond, which was never right for her as his angel deserved better. He looked around the room at his family who were all devastated by the news of divorce the silence was uncomfortable. "Beta if you both have decided that this is right for you two and it is a mutual decision then we are all with you", he said firmly. He picked up the divorce papers and left the room. Kaaya stared at her as she slowly got up and left the room, she knew that something was wrong as she watched her disappear into there room. Massima left out and big sigh and started to quietly sob on the chair Debo and his wife left the room. She turned towards her and could feel her pain and sat down near her and held her hand. "Massima please don't cry as Di needs you and so do I", she said looking at the woman who raised them…
"Di are you Ok!" she asked knocking at the bathroom door. She could hear her being sick and for the last few days she had not been well. The door slowly opened and she walked into the bathroom to see her as she washed her face. "I am pregnant!" she said with tears running down her face. Kaaya smiled and hugged her, now everything is going to be OK. Di will be back with Jiju and she would be back with Vivaan all happy in Mumbai. "Kaaya?" She felt her arms around her tighten as she sobbed holding her. "Di it's all going to be Ok. I will tell Baba and Jiju will come to pick you up!" she said trying to confront her. "You don't understand he loves someone else and want to be with her. He hates me," she sobbed. Kaaya took hold of her and could not believe what she had just heard. For a year they acted like the perfect couple and now it was all clear how she sensed something was wrong and Di putting up a brave face for everyone. "Don't tell Baba, as he will make me go back. I will tell him myself about the pregnancy," she said looking at her. She nodded as they walked towards the door now nothing was going to be the same again……….
She looked at him across the table the silence between them was uncomfortable. He reached for her hand and held it "I want to tell Baba about us" he said looking at her.
"No Vivaan!" she said firmly.
"But why?" he asked as she withdraw her hand.
"Why? Because I have my sister at home in piece and you want to tell my family that you love me and want to marry me", she said angrily as she looked away tearful. She had promised Gauri not to tell anyone about the pregnancy until Baba returned back from Delhi. He looked at her and smile "God how I have I missed you!" he said looking at her. Her anger had always made her look so beautiful and he wanted to take her in his arms and hold her. She looked at him as he gave her a sheepish smile.
"How is bhabhi?" he asked.
"She is no longer your bhabhi and Di is coping as expected", she replied.
He moved forwards and took hold of her hand forcefully.
"She will always be my Bhabhi and you will always be my bookworm", he teased.
"Bookworm?" she said she could feel her cheeks going red in anger and looked at him, but her heart just want him to hug her and tell her everything is doing to be ok.
"How is your brother and when the wedding?" she asked looking at him. His face fell, as she knew the truth. "So you guys now!" he said.
"No! only I know as always she has saved him from Baba's anger. If he ever found out the truth he would go mad especially now with her being…."She stopped and looked at him.
"Being what?" he asked.
"A divorcee who is total in love with him. I don't see her ever remarrying again. Thanks to your brother" she said looking at him.
"You just wait and watch her love will win in the end. Bhai will be on his knees asking for her back", he said.
Kaaya shook her head "Once a cheat always a cheat how is she ever going to trust him again, as well as love in a relationship trust is also needed. No Shiv will never ask her to come back to him as he loves someone else but what I can't understand was if he loved Ipshita then why did he make her fall so crazy in love with him" she said.
"Love just happens," he said smiling.
"Anyway I have a few idea's to get them back together," he added.
"No Vivaan! let them be. Di will never go back to him since he never loved her and I don't think any of you ideas will work. It will only cause more pain and anyway if Shiv wants her back he knows where he can find her", she replied.
Vivaan looked at her disappointed and knew she was right.
"When will I see you again?" he asked looking at her as she looked at her watch.
She looked at him and let out a big sigh.
"I don't want to see you again it's over!" she said firmly.
"What? You can't be serious" he said shocked.
"Deadly serious I don't want to marry into a family were it's total acceptable to cheat on your wife!" she said angrily knowing he was going to get upset. He let go of her hand and could feel his heartache as she got up and looked at him.
"I don't want you to call me or come to my house. Have I made myself clear? If I had to choose between you or my family then it's my family" she said.
She walked away but felt his hand take hold of her arm.
"Before you leave tell me one thing did you ever love me?" he asked.
She looked at him and could see the hurt in his eyes and she could feel her heart break as she looked at him. "Listen I never once said I loved you, in fact I don't even like you I wanted to hurt you like you hurt me. You made me lie to my father, got me drunk and god knows what else. Now we are even", she said jerking back her arm.
Vivaan smiled and laugh at her as she stared at him.
"Your are crazy about me!" he hugged her.
"Get off me!" she shouted. He looked at her "Your are not a good actress in fact you stink! I know you still love me as you would not still be wearing my bracelet", he said. Angrily she took of the bracelet and placed it in her hand. "Good Bye!" she said as she stormed off. He looked at her and smiled as he chased her…
