Gauri is at the director's studio and the director tells her that her singing is excellent. Prateek gets a call and excuses himself and leaves.
Theres another Gopal scene - not important - i guess they are just trying to add the element of comedy -
The director takes Gauri to the recording room and asks her to sing a song for trial. She begins to sing "piya tose naina" but the director stops her and asks her to sing a new, hip song. Gauri says that she has never sung such songs. the director gives her some lyrics but Gauri is too nervous. The director asks her to go and wait in another room and they can record after that.
Gauri is in her rooom and the director comes in and asks her why it is so hard to sing the song and asks her what was so bad in the lyrics and he sings it *main kamsin kali hoon, a choole mujhe* and tells her that many people come into this industry, some make an image for themselve and others dont..but she can become a superstar if only she spend a night with him and he puts his hand on Gauri's shoulder. Gauri takes his hand off and tells him that she is not of that kind and says that she made a mistake coming there and begins to leave. the director holds her hand and Gauri turns around and slaps him *GO GAURI*..when she leaves the directors office, she meets Prateek and Prateek asks her what happened. Gauri cries and puts her head on Prateeks shoulder and someone clicks a picture of that. Gauri tells Prateek what happened and he is furious. He is about to go and beat the director up when Gauri tells him to leave the issue and take her away from there.
Prateek and Gauri reach home and Dadaji and Ayush are having food. Samar asks why they were so late and Prateek says that his gadi was kharaab. Samar asks them how the meeting went and Prateek says that the director was not that great and Gauri will have many more opportunities. Ayush tells Gauri that Samar made the food today and asks her to eat. They offer Prateek to stay for dinner but he says he has to go and leaves.
Saurab comes to Samar and gives him the phone saying that it is Kamya's call. Kamya asks Samar if Gauri told him anything about what happened with the music director. Samar asks her what happened and Kamya tells him that she happened to be at the same place Gauri had gone to and when she was going in, she saw Gauri come out crying. Later on she found out that the director was indecent with her.
Gauri is upset about what happened with the music director and Samar comes in and asks her what happened at the music studio. Gauri is suprised and Samar tells her that he knows everything. Gauri tells him everything and Samar asks her why she hid such a big thing from him. Gauri says she was going to tell him but she didnt understand anything. Samar gets mad, grabs Gauri's hand and asks her to come with him. Ayush and Dadaji dont know what is happenning.
The music director is talking to some guys and Gauri reaches his place. the director tells the other guys that he knew that she would come back. Samar comes in and starts beating the director up. the police come and take Samar away. Gauri and Samar, both, try telling them that it was the directors fault but the police dont listen. Gauri goes to a phone booth and tries to call Prateek but he is away. She tries to call Kamya *oh, btw, Kamya was watching Gauri all this while *...but kamya doesnt pick her phone and says that this is the only way to get Samar.
