The way Meera is being treated may be "realistic according to a lot of you and maybe similar to what some of you experience in your own lives but I feel it is really unfair. Let's first talk about her silly parents. They were very grateful when she made sacrifices to help them. But both before and marriage and after they have kept making her feel bad about herself. Who's she is, what she does etc. What sort of parents are these. Once in a while you hear them say something nice about her to each other but Dolly has not once said a single encouraging thing to Meera since the serial started. And today - she was truly pathetic. If your own parents don't treat you with respect how can you ever expect others, including your parents or in-laws to treat you well.

And VIvaan. Let's be clear. He is imperfect, just like Meera. He is stubborn, just like Meera. Yet she is the one who just gave your sister blood. She is the one who so sweetly says - don't reject my blood because I am a duifer. When she was saying all this, wasn't he feeling guilty about being a jackass. If anyone I loved showed me that I had undermined them to such an extent that they thought they were useless and stupid and not worth anything because they were not as educated or as rich as I am, I would be ashamed.

I have obviously gone on a rant, but today I really felt sad for Meera. And for anyone who has to put up with this sort of treatment in real life.

Is this what marriage is about? Can there be love without respect?

Ur absolutely right.. i am not saying this happens every where or this treatment should be given. Being a south indian living in london for last 11 yrs thr have been many problem in marital life but my parents never said that these things happened bcoz of u and all. infact everyone supported me.. I really felt Sad for Meera as she definitely doesnt deserve this kind of treatment doesnt matter who ever it is... Isnt the indian telly serials run bcoz of Abla naari.. but vivaan should have talked its more subtle than dragging and throwing her out as she became pale by giving blood to ur sister. just bcoz she didnt agree wat u said this treatment is nonsense

I am shocked to hear all of your accounts of marriage. I feel like I never want to get married if this is what it means. Are we Indian women undeserving of more? I feel very sad tonight

But we already sympathize with Meera, isn't it? Was that forcible addition even required? Because otherwise, neither did his action make sense nor did her blind faith. It was established yesterday that she still gives PK the benefit of doubt...that much was enough. Today they could have simply shown the police taking Vivaan's sign in her absence... coz that's what happened eventually anyway.😕
And all that only to have one pathetic dialogue from SM to Meera?

I agree. We do, but CVs want to go to the extreme... I can not think why they would would do this after the scenes yesterday.

Instead of that police-drag thing... they could have inserted a meaningful conversation between the couple on what transpired. Amaya was out of danger, Vivaan had mellowed, Meera understood her mistake... they had the situation. He could have asked her what made her think PK would meet HER, when the latter refused to meet him. Or maybe why she didn't consider telling him when he had told her he was investigating himself. To which she could have explained her intentions... and they could have shown him trying to see her POV. It is that difficult to write a "discussion"? If they don't show this much progression in the relationship now, then when?

I have been wanting and writing about the same thing. When will they discuss their issues? The writers have enough material in this clash-of-culture and accidental -marriage couple. CV need to reduce the SM and Laali nonsense and concentrate on the main leads of this show!

Instead the conversation ended at "my password was Vivaan"?🥱

That should have been saved for a meaningful moment.

That police aftermath was just a mindless scene and nothing else. 👎🏼 Who gives them these ideas that new viewers will come swarming to the show if they insert a "hero threw out heroine"? When both hero-heroine are NOT in that mould here. So jarring TBH. The first one in the ICU was justified. Today's was nonsense.

I think the same.

And ofc like you said... all this drag is for SM. The character, her oscillations between a cold-blooded murderer to Laali's comedy confidante... do not make sense to viewers. Laali is another pathetic creature supporting the one who wants to get her own niece killed.

My thoughts exactly! If CVs think this is entertaining it is not and it is not even remotely funny.

They need to get PK into the mix soon and think about exploring the concept of the show. Otherwise I have never really seen an entire serial being compromised, despite abysmal ratings, for the sake of a character and actor who was introduced much much later.

PK needs to come forward now. There will be enough drama between her and Vivaan. CVs need to give a proper explanation of her past too. What is majboori she keeps speaking of? She is a rich women. Can she not hire a good lawyer and ask the police to help her against SM?

Where there is love there will be respect.

In the show, the CVs are not even allowing MeerVaan to explore a proper friendship or relationship...

After some progress, we now see more scheming from SM and harsh words from Dolly. At least Beeji's showed caution.

Things I liked in the episode was MeeVaan and the "khoon" ka rishta, Arjit during his scene with Amaya, subtle nokjohk, Meera's dialogues to Dolly... and and Vivaan's EXPRESSION in the last scene when SM announces to the doc she's taking Amaya back. It was almost a "hain! ye bhi bolti hai kya? Ye kaun hai bolne wali?" 🤣😲

and ofc the Precap! 👍🏼

I'm surprised you didn't like the epi
It made adequate progress from yesterday.
They talked more in this epi than they have till date.
Even the police case made development.

OhEmGee, was it ystday in the AT I said jst like Vivaan breaks things in anger it won't take him a moment to dismiss his marriage and he does exactly that!😡

About the drag - can't help bt I hv to insert 'I told u so'😆 .. it was obvious it won't be too long bfr EK n GK heroes manhandling habits start emerging in the Vivaan Kapoor!

There's soo much more to add... bt I'm soo tired.

SM needs replacing - 🤢. As a villain she's crap!
I found the acting today mediocre.
The scene outside Amaya's room and meeting with the police officers was 👍🏼

First they had Aditi screeching 'vivaaan' - now they have her stuttering on every sentence ... just let her speak normally.

Hi UKGirl.😊

Every relationship has its positive and negative.
It is not only in marriage that we undergo commotion.
There can be disagreement/diff of opinion/stubborness between parent/child, siblings, relatives etc that doesn't mean those relations loose value due to them or the other person looses respect in our eyes.
Marriage is a delicate partnership. Two people of complete diff nature, background, upbringing are bonded in such a way that they are witness to each others worst of the worst and best of the best. So of course there's going to be clash of personalities and ideals.
The hurt is going to be greater but so will the happiness.
At the same time it's a beautiful connection which binds you to your spouse with something that is not tangible like blood and this person eventually bcmz the most important in one's life above all others.
About women deserving more - once we stop expecting from others and start giving our own selves what we are rightfully entitled then that feeling will slowly disappear. We should nvr be dependant on other's to make us worthy - once we work on our worth rest will eventually fall in place.😃

@Bold - I agree and it was not all bad.

'That' scene was unnecessary and I do not want to see GK or EK type of behaviour in Kaleerein.

I m re iterating again in agrrement to many that i liked the epi except for drag n dolly. Meera is a human she needs to be treated equally. I felt bad for cv ideas. Its nt abt Vivaan its about CVs.
Regarding marriage i take Sofi s pov fully. She is just bang on. Whtvr said in a joky tone though they might be true yet nt acceptable in any way. Respect is the corner stone of marriage. Today Meera is silent for her guilt bt in future i wud like her to standup n nt allow any damm body to drag her.

PS i didnt participated in discussion yday as i might have ended bashing CVs
