My favorite SM's UnIndian-ly Indian moment was her dance in latest ME. Laali says "khulke nacho" and she does a Mumbaiyya Ganpati dance.😲🤣

That scene meant different things to different people.

But all in all that was a "meant nothing" scene.

I think it was to invoke sympathy for Meera, which it did.

It gave an update of the gang and that Meera was the target. Though it made little sense, considering MeerVaan's emotions in the previous scenes of the episode.

Was Meera thrown out by Vivaan so Dolly could give her a lecture and so SM would have a chance to give a evil hint to Meera?

I am so sick of SM. She is most pathetic vamp in any show and why do they put her in the MeerVaan moments?

We watch the show for Aditi, Arjit and MeerVaan. Meera's dialogue seems perfect for us too. MeerVaan take one step forward and the CVs drag them back for SM.

How will TRPs increase if the CVs do not allow MeerVaan relationship the screen space it needs to connect with the wider audience.

One saving grace is that PK is aware of SM's intentions to separate MeerVaan and that Vivaan is standing against her. Meera is back in the hospital too.

I have an experience to share from a year ago when I went for a vacation to a health ashram, I had two roommates and both were married, even tho I (yet-to-be-married) felt distant from them as they kept talking about marital issues I tried to involve in few convos. I came to know G1 is happy in an arranged marriage as her husband supported her over his family, she went into a joint family only to gather proofs against his family in some issue and have a separate family with her husband right away, her husband seemed like her puppet. G2 had a love mariage a year ago but was living separate after a major fight with MIL where her husband supported his mom which led her to have an abortion on suffering from depression. Now the actual story is the girl who somehow succeded in having a happy married life, of course by playing many tricks within her family became a role model to all those girls who were suffering in their marital lives. I was really frustrated with all those discussions but kept tagging along until one day when I heard the so called role model advising girls to tolerate their husband's violence comparing the scenario to how kids tolerate their overbearing parents, that was the moment the last straw broke for me. That day I understood neither education nor their class in society (they were all moderately rich) defines a person and his thoughts. I also realised I'm better alone rather than having bad company.

But we already sympathize with Meera, isn't it? Was that forcible addition even required? Because otherwise, neither did his action make sense nor did her blind faith. It was established yesterday that she still gives PK the benefit of doubt...that much was enough. Today they could have simply shown the police taking Vivaan's sign in her absence... coz that's what happened eventually anyway.😕
And all that only to have one pathetic dialogue from SM to Meera?

Instead of that police-drag thing... they could have inserted a meaningful conversation between the couple on what transpired. Amaya was out of danger, Vivaan had mellowed, Meera understood her mistake... they had the situation. He could have asked her what made her think PK would meet HER, when the latter refused to meet him. Or maybe why she didn't consider telling him when he had told her he was investigating himself. To which she could have explained her intentions... and they could have shown him trying to see her POV. It is that difficult to write a "discussion"? If they don't show this much progression in the relationship now, then when?

Instead the conversation ended at "my password was Vivaan"?🥱

That police aftermath was just a mindless scene and nothing else. 👎🏼 Who gives them these ideas that new viewers will come swarming to the show if they insert a "hero threw out heroine"? When both hero-heroine are NOT in that mould here. So jarring TBH. The first one in the ICU was justified. Today's was nonsense.

And ofc like you said... all this drag is for SM. The character, her oscillations between a cold-blooded murderer to Laali's comedy confidante... do not make sense to viewers. Laali is another pathetic creature supporting the one who wants to get her own niece killed.

They need to get PK into the mix soon and think about exploring the concept of the show. Otherwise I have never really seen an entire serial being compromised, despite abysmal ratings, for the sake of a character and actor who was introduced much much later.

Completely agree with u Sree. i just mentioned the same to BV to start focusing on meervaans relationship... they didnt even explore thr relationship .. This Roma is literally irritating now.. u know in bepanah female villian se trps were low now they introduce Male one who happens to be Shilpas hubby...

Thanks again for your update. After reading it and people's reactions I decided to watch the episode before making any judgement.

The way Meera is being treated may be "realistic according to a lot of you and maybe similar to what some of you experience in your own lives but I feel it is really unfair. Let's first talk about her silly parents. They were very grateful when she made sacrifices to help them. But both before and marriage and after they have kept making her feel bad about herself. Who's she is, what she does etc. What sort of parents are these. Once in a while you hear them say something nice about her to each other but Dolly has not once said a single encouraging thing to Meera since the serial started. And today - she was truly pathetic. If your own parents don't treat you with respect how can you ever expect others, including your husband or in-laws to treat you well.

And VIvaan. Let's be clear. He is imperfect, just like Meera. He is stubborn, just like Meera. Yet she is the one who just gave your sister blood. She is the one who so sweetly says - don't reject my blood because I am a duifer. When she was saying all this, wasn't he feeling guilty about being a jackass. If anyone I loved showed me that I had undermined them to such an extent that they thought they were useless and stupid and not worth anything because they were not as educated or as rich as I am, I would be ashamed.

I have obviously gone on a rant, but today I really felt sad for Meera. And for anyone who has to put up with this sort of treatment in real life.

Is this what marriage is about? Can there be love without respect?
