Chapter 23: False Alarm

Manik was sitting on his bed with his legs wide open and his hands cupping his face. He looked towards the bathroom door and waited patiently. He left out a sigh and looked over at the wall clock and then heard the door squeak open. He looked toward the bathroom door and saw his wife walk out slowly. She looked over at him and gulped. He stood up and ran towards her and held her hand.

"So?" he asked.

"We have to wait five minutes for the stupid thing to show results" nandhini says as she holds up the pregnancy test and manik bursts into giggles and holds her hand and drags her towards the bed. He sits down and makes her sit on his lap.

"this seems like forever" she says and looks towards the test again.

"Just five minutes nandhu. We will get through these five minutes and we will get through whatever the result will be" he says and nandhini smiles.

"What if this does happen. Then what? We almost broke up manik. Humari shaddi ko sirf ek month huwa ha and we have fought so many times. We have to fix our relationship before we become an actual family" nandhini says and manik nods his head.

"tum theek bol rahi ho. Don't worry we will have 9 months to work on us. We will make sure we are sorted and I promise this baby will not go through what I went through" manik promises and nandhini cups his face with her hands and kisses his cheek.

"Don't worry we will be amazing parents, won't make your parents mistakes" she whispers in his ear and he nods his head.

He takes a deep breath and holds up her arm that was holding the pregnancy test.

"It's been five minutes" he says and they both look towards the test and see two lines on the tiny lcd screen.

"What does two lines mean?" she asks and he look behind him on the bed where the packaging was and read the back of the box.

"Two lines = not pregnant" he reads and looks at nandhini with a broken expression. She bites her lower lip and immediately bursts out crying. Manik gestures her to come even closer. She holds up her arms and grabs him in a tight hug. She cries all over his black dress shirt. Manik rubs the back of her head and tries to calm her down.

"Shh shh it's okay nandhini" he says and tries to lift her head up but she just continued crying.

"Manik I know we didn't plan this and we weren't expecting this but I was kind of looking forward to this." She says and continues crying like a baby and manik smiles at her cuteness.

"Shhh relax. Mein bhi thora excited hogaya tha. But it's okay one day we will have a child, when we both are ready and he or she will be welcomed into a loving family. Right?" Manik says and nandhini nods her head and wipes her tears. Just then someone knocked on the door and nandhini stood up from manik's lap and looked at him confusingly. He gestured her to go see who it is.

Nandhini opens the door and manik's parents were standing by the door.

"Mom Dad? Aya andar ae" she says respectfully and manik rolls his eyes. He stands up from.the bed.

"Dad why are you here?" Manik asks straightforwardly and nandhini gives him a deadly look.

"Manik us din jub mein nandhini ka chacha chachi ka ghar aya tha, us din sa mein wapis Pune nahi gaya hoon. Tum udhar hi reh raha tha so you wouldn't have known..." Manik's dad says and manik rolls his eyes.

"Idea ha mujhe. Aya tha mein ghar upna saman Lene. Sun li thi Mene aapki baatein. Kesa sub ki zindagi Aj abaad hoti agar mein Nahi hota" manik says in anger and his dad raises his eyebrows.

"Manik..." He says but manik holds up his hands

"Kaam.kya ha batao. Yahan kyew ae ho?"manik asks.

"Okay then. Clearly you and your wife..." He says but manik cuts him in-between.

"Bahu ha woh aapki. Mujhe beta toh Aj tak maana nahi lekin isko toh bahu maan lo"manik says in anger and nandhini smiles.

"Clearly you and nandhini are back together" he says correcting himself.

"But me and your mom have decided to officially get a divorce" manik's dad said and manik.looked at him in surprise. Nandhini looked at younika who was as stiff as a statue.

"Kya? Lekin ub itne saal baad?"nandhini asks in shock.

"Beta yeh shaddi toh bahot pehle toot chukki thi. Lekin tumhari waja sa we never made it legal but after looking at you and nandhini fight. I realized that younika never took care of you she broke her contact and therefore I want to legally end this marriage" his dad says and nandhini looked at him surprisingly.

"Ek contract ka Liya shaddi ka contract mat toriya. Mera or manik ka beech ub sub theek ha or vesa bhi Kuch bhi mom ki galti nahi thi" nandhini defends younika.

"Nandhini tum beech mein nahi pero. It's non of your business. And it's a joint decision so Jo horaha ha Sahi horaha ha" younika yells at at nandhini and manik gets angry but nandhini holds his hand and gestures him to calm down.

"Woh is Liya ha kyew ka younika ko is divorce sa bahot faida ha. She is getting 10 core rps. Anyways she won't be living here anymore manik. The entire mansion is yours" Mr. Malhotra says and nandhini and manik were surprised. Younika rolls her eyes then notices the pregnancy kit on the floor and walks towards it and picks it up and looks at manik and nandhini.

"Nandhini?" She asks with a smile.

"Woh.." she says but younika all of a sudden hugs her and nandhini opens her eyes wide.

"Omg congratulations! This is amazing news! Mera grandchild hoga? Omg!"younika yells in excitement and everyone else was serious.

Manik's dad had a straight face and manik was angered.

"Shut up younika! It was a false alarm and app ko khushi kyew horahi ha? Na app meri maa kabhi thi or Na hogi. Mera bache sa apka kabhi bhi koi bhi ristha nahi hoga! " Manik yells at her and younika's expression was heartbroken.

"Manik dhoodh sa meethi malae hoti ha" younika says and leaves the room and manik's dad waves a bye and leaves too.

Nandhini looks at manik and he shrugs his shoulders.

"She is right. Dhoodh sa meethi malae" nandhini says and manik raises his eyebrows.

"What does that even mean?" He asks.

"You are the dhoodh and your child is the malae. People adore their grandkids more than they adore there own kids. Younika's excitement was genuine manik! Tum Kuch bhi bolo she is your mother. You have her blood in you!" Nandhini says in anger and manik rolls his eyes.

"Upni shaddi sambhal Nahi pae. Mujhe acha insaan nahi bana pae. Mera bache ki care karegi yeh? I'm glad she is leaving our lives finally!" Manik says in anger and nandhini laughs at his fake happiness. She knew that he was actually hurt by all this. She walks close to him and hugs him from the back., Her head resting on his back and her hands wrapped around his chest.

"Manik pretend kerne ki zerorat nahi ha. Bhool ga? Soulmates, let me touch your soul" she says and manik closes his eyes and tears start flowing from his eyes. He grabs her hand and turns around, they both were facing each other now. He rests his head on her shoulder and hugs her tight.

"Never leave me again. Jo Aj tak mera tha sub toot gaya, sub chale ga chor ka. Tum mat Jana please" he begs her and nandhini smiles and ruffles his head.

She holds his hand and grabs him towards the bed. She sits down on her side and makes him rest his head on her lap and plays with his hair.

"You know manik it feels so good to be back home. I know I said ka yeh mera ghar nahi ha but mein galat thi. Jahan tum wahan mera ghar" she says and continues stroking her fingers through his hair. Manik holds her hand and lightly kisses it.

"Nahi nandhini. Tumhara sath jesa huwa, Jo Mene kaha uske baad your anger was correct. Tumhara is ghar ko chor ka jaana was justified. I really hurt you and I'm sorry" he says and kisses her leg as his head rested upon it. Nandhini smiled and she bent her head down a little so that she could kiss his lips but before she got the chance nandhini's phone started ringing. They both shifted their gaze on the side table. Manik sat up from.her lap and grabbed her phone and he looked at caller ID.

"Mukti the great" he says and hands her, her phone. Nandhini giggles and picks it up.

"Kya huwa? Kuch pata chala?" Mukti screams right away.

"Haha calm down. False alarm tha yaar" nandhini says sadly.

"Oh thank God" mukti says and nandhini makes a confused face. Manik had a fun idea and had a mischievous smile on his face.

"Kya Matlab thank god?" Nandhini asks. Manik comes closer to nandhini and starts kissing her neck while she was still on the phone.

"Dude a baby is alot of work!" mukti says and nandhini tries not to make it obvious.

"Oh aaah wohhh" she moans and manik opens her shirts buttons one by one.

"What?" Mukti asked.

"I mean aaa woh it's worth the work" she says and a tear escapes her eye. Manik completely pulls off her shirt and throws it on the floor.

"Are you okay?" Mukti asks suspiciously. Manik just then bites her collarbone.

"Ouch!" Nandhini yells in pain and looks at manik in anger and he silently smiles with his teeth out.

"Kya huwa?"mukti asks and nandhini rolls her eyes.

"Listen I'll call you back bye" nandhini says and cuts the call and throws her phone on the side. She grabs manik's face and pulls him towards herself and kisses him on the lips passionately.

.next day:

Manik woke up with a heavy head. He sat up on his bead and looked around his room. There was a ray of light coming from the gap the curtains had. Nandhini was peacefully sleeping on her side of the bed. He looked around at the floor where all their clothes were scattered and smirked remembering their reunion last night. He grabbed his boxers from the floor and quickly slid into them and walked outside his room and downstairs to the kitchen. He yawned as he opened the fridge door and pulled out orange juice and directly started drinking it from.the carton.

"Manik glass use kero" manik heard a deep womanly voice and shook a little then looked up and saw younika Infront of him. He looked down at his attire and felt a little embarrassed.

"Or please room sa poore kapre pehn ka toh nikla kero" she says and manik rolls his eyes and places the juice carton on the marble slab in anger.

"Aj tak jub mujhe Kisi baat pa nahi took a toh ub kyew Tok rahi ho?" He yells in anger and younika rolls her eyes.

Listen younika! Kuch din baad ap mere Baap ki biwi rahegi nahi toh Jo thora sa ristha tha humara woh bhi khatam hojae ga samjhi!" He yells and younika started laughing loudly and manik looked at her confused.

"What?" He asks confused

"Kal raat is ghar mein bahot awazein arahi thi or woh tumhare room sa nahi arahi thi" she says with an evil smile and manik was still clueless.

"Confused? Go check out my room" she says and manik walks towards the staircase then her room and slowly opens the door. He finds his dad sleeping on the bed and a comforter covering his lower body. His upper body was bare. Manik opened his eyes wide and closed the door immediately.

"Milgaye jawab?" Younika says from behind manik and he turns around and looks at her.

"Mein kahi nahi ja rahi samjhe tum!" She says with evil in her eyes and manik quietly paces back to his own room and closes the door.

He starts gasping for breath as he ran back to his room.

"No no no noo" he yells in anger and nandhini looks at him from the corner of the room. She confusingly walks towards him and taps his shoulder. He jumps in panic and turns around and sees nandhini, she was wearing her night robe.

"Woah calm down. Tum esa react keraha ho jesa tum na Bhoot dekha. Or tum kaha ga tha? Neeche esa hi boxers mein chale ga? Younika Abhi bhi yahan rehti ha. Ache ghar ka lerke ghar mein esa nahi ghoomte" nandhini says and giggles.

Manik looks at her with the same scared expression and starts pacing around the room. He then looks at nandhini and walks towards her and grabs her shoulders.

"Younika slept with dad!" Manik blurts out and nandhini opens her eyes wide.

"Tmi much manik?" Nandhini says and manik raises his eyebrows.

"Yeh tmi Kya hota ha?"he asks as he continues freaking out.

"Too much information! Tum texting nahi kerte Kya? Kis zamane ka ho?" Nandhini jokes and manik looks at her in anger.

"Acha sorry. Why are you freaking out. Achi baat ha Na divorce nahi hoga. They patched up!" Nandhini says in excitement.

"Nandhini nandhini! Last time this happened I came into this world and they were stuck with each other for years!" Manik yells.

"Tumhe yeh kaisa pata ka last time kub tha?" Nandhini asks in shock.

"Bus pata ha." Manik says.

"Vesa bhi it's not like younika can have another baby and keep this marriage going. She's too old now" nandhini says and giggles.

"Ya but still you never know with younika. Kuch Na Kuch plan hoga. Vesa how old is younika?" Manik thinks.

"Mujhe Kya pata? Tumhari maa ha!" Nandhini says.

"Vesa younika does look very young you know. She still looks hot" nandhini says with fascination and manik looks at her with disgust.

"Chiii. Duniya ki pehli bahu hogi Jo saas ko hot bol rahi ha." Manik says and finally calms down and giggles.

"So tum unko maa mante ho?" Nandhini says in excitement and manik stops giggling and has a serious expression again. Just then manik's phone rings. He walks towards the bed where his phone was and kabir was calling. He picks up.

"Yaar kabir right now isn't a good time" manik says in tension.

"You okay? Today is our music launch, wanted to make sure you wouldn't be late" he says in confusion and manik takes a deep breath.

"Sorry. Ya I totally forgot GOD! Okay I'm leaving in 10 minutes." Manik says and cuts the call and runs towards his Cupboard and starts throwing clothes on the floor and nandhini quickly stops him.

"Kya huwa? Jao tum shower lelo. Mein tumhara kapre nikalti hoon." Nandhini says and pushes him towards the bathroom.

After a while manik comes out in his towel and finds his clothes spread out on the bed. His shoes, watch and wallet everything was there. He smiled at nandhini's gesture.

"Can't believe I took her for granted" he says to himself and just then he feels someone hands on his eyes.

"Nandhini?" He says and turns around and finds Aliya Infront of him and is surprised.

"Aliya tum? Nandhini Kahan ha? Yeh kapre kisne rakhe?" He asks in confusion and grabs the shirt and quickly wears it.

"Nandhini Na Rakha obviously! She went downstairs to get you breakfast. Dhruv bhi neeche ha. We came to pick you up on our way " Aliya says with excitement and manik looks at her in anger.

"Tum kyew uper ae?" He asks her in anger and Aliya looks at him confusingly.

"What do you mean? Manik bachpan sa we all have just barged in your room" aliya says

"Tub ki baat alag thi..now this isn't just my room! It's mine and nandhini's room! I could have not even been in this towel. Itni akal nahi ha ka ek couple ka room mein knock kere bagair nahi jaate" manik yells at her and Aliya opens her eyes wide.

"Calm down manik. Mujhe pata tha ka nandhini neeche ha. Not like i purposely walked in on you guys. Jeez fine I'll leave bye" she says and runs outside. Manik sighs as he realizes he hurt Aliya. He quickly changes and heads downstairs and finds nandhini setting the dinning table and Aliya and dhruv helping her. Nandhini looks at him as he walks towards the table.

"Morning love" dhruv says to manik in a girly tone and everyone giggles except Aliya.

"Dhruv yeh toh meri line thi haha. Acha Chalo guys let's have breakfast" nandhini says and everyone sits down and starts eating. Manik sat across nandhini and started to tickle her leg with his foot from under the table. Nandhini held in her giggles and looked at manik in anger but manik had a mischievous smile and continued. Nandhini then picked up her phone and quickly texted manik and his phone beeped. Aliya and dhruv immediately understood that nandhini texted him because she just had her phone in her hand. Manik checked his phone and read her text.

'stop it! Insaan ki terha breakfast kero werna Janwaro ki terha Aj ghar ka bahir sogaa tum!' manik reads it and giggles. Just then younika and Mr. Malhotra came towards the table.

"Good morning everyone" Maniks dad said and nandhini stood up fron her chair.

"Mom.dad? Ayaa join us" she says as she gestures towards the two empty seats.

Manik looked at nandhini in anger and she shrugged her shoulders.

"Lag toh sub yummy raha ha" Mr Malhotra says looking at the paratha and sits down.

"Wait dad" manik says and everyone looks at him.

"How could you do this? Itne saalo ka baad you were finally going to get rid of that sick lady. And yesterday night you slept with her? What is wrong with you?" Manik directly asks and dhruv and Aliya look at manik in shock. Nandhini closes her eyes and holds her forehead in tension.

"Manik the divorce is still happening. The rest is none of your business" he says and finally grabs a paratha and starts eating it. Younika sat down too and started eating and looked at manik with a mischievous smile and he rolled his eyes.

"My my beta. These parhatas are amazing. Esi cooking is ghar mein 30 saal baad horhi ha. Meri maa esi cooking Kerti thi. Unke death ka baad Sirf mard tha is ghar mein. Or younika ko ghar torne ka elawa Kuch ata nahi tha toh woh kaha sa kahana banati" Mr Malhotra says and looks at younika with anger. Manik was a little irritated by his dad.

"Nandhini Kuch logo ko shayad yeh nahi pata ka biwi sa shaddi is Liya nahi kerte so she can make food for everyone. Kal sa I'm hiring a cook. You are my wife not my chef. Dad, Younika Na app sa shaddi ki app ka kitchen sa nahi and vesa bhi everyone eats food so everyone should know how to cook a good home meal is mein mard ya aurat hone sa Kya farak perta ha?" manik says defending his mom and everyone looks at him in shock.

Manik realizes what he just said and quickly stands up from.his seat.

"Umm mena kha Liya. Mein

Mein contract files leke aata hoon dhruv then we can leave. Nandhini can you come with me please" he says and walks towards the stairs and Nandhini follows him.

Manik quickly closes the door as soon as they enter the room and pulls nandhini in a sudden hug. Nandhini was surprised but squeezed his body against hers and gave him comfort. After a while they parted and nandhini smiled and held manik's hand.

"You okay Na?" She asks and manik nodded his head.

"Ya bus just felt like hugging you" he says and kisses her hand then let's go of her hand and starts looking for his files inside the cupboard. Nandhini sits on the bed and watched him struggle for a few minutes.

"Left cupboard bottom drawer, under the property papers" nandhini says and manik looks at her surprisingly and goes to that exact place and finds it and giggles.

"Why are you such a 90's Housewife?" He asks and nandhini laughs. He finally finds it and walks towards the bed and jumps on and lies on his belly.

"Hey you were the one who was like tumhe woh teaching ki job kerne ki zerorat nahi ha. Or harshad is out of the group again so nh3 is no more toh pura din Kya kero?" Nandhini says as she starts playing with his hair.

"Nandhu Mene teaching ki job ka mana thori Kiya. I just said ka I don't want you to worry about money. Jo Kerna ha kero but don't stress over money. This family has so much money there is no need for you to have a crappy job for money. If you think the teaching job is comfortable then go for it but don't worry about money okay?" Manik says with a smile and nandhini nods her head.

"okay I'll accept the job today. And fab 5 will rock the dealership with the music company today. Shaddi or honeymoon khatam ub real life start" nandhini says with a smile and manik nods.

"Ya you're right. Life is serious now. Kal tak we were kids in space academy and now we are in the real world. Bus Aj ka music launch Sahi jae and is baar younika koi hurdle create Na kere like she did last time" manik says and nandhini holds his hand.

"She won't" nandhini says with a smile and manik raises her eyebrows.

"How do you know?" Manik asks curiously.

"Kyew ka aj mein or younika mil ka brownies banaenge. She won't have time to ruin your music launch" nandhini says with a cute smile and manik just looks at her with surprise and he then bursts out laughing.

"What?" nandhini screams in anger.

"You trying to make younika seem like an angel of a woman. Woh koi Beth ka brownies nahi banati tera sath" manik says and continues laughing.

"Maa ko convince ker longi mein. Or Chalo tum Nikko yahan sa" nandhini says and gestures him to get off the bed.

"Acha acha meri maa. Or us Aurat ko maa mat bolo tum" he says as he stands up from the bed with the file in his hands and nandhini Pulls him back.

"You defended her today. We all saw it. Pretend kerlo Jitna Kerna ha lekin you do love her" nandhini says with a smile and manik gulps.

"I'm late. Bye" he says under his breath and leaves her grip and walks out the room leaving Nandhini sitting on the bed.

"Kub hoga Malhotra khandan unite?" Nandhini asks her self. Just then her phone rings and she leans forward on the bed and grabs her phone. She looks at caller ID and smiles. It was her beloved chachi.

"Yo chachi whats up?" nandhini asks in a cool tone.

"Lerka hoga toh ishaan or lerki hogi toh ishaana" chachi yells in excitement and nandhini opens her eyes wide.

"What? Apko kesa pata?" nandhini asks confusingly.

"Navya na kal raat phone kiya. Vesa yeh theek nahi ha nandhu sub sa pehle khabar mera pass ana chaya tha na ke tumhare dosto ka pass" chachi says sadly and nandhini giggles.

"My dear chachi relax. I'm not having a baby. Bus thori der ka liya doubt hogaya tha. Or vesa bhi confirm hota toh sub sa pehle app hi ko phone kerti mein"nandhini says.

"oh"she says sadly.

"Haha chachi times have changed. Couples ka ultimate goal bacha nahi hota ub. Sahi time aane pa we will have a baby. Bus kuch or saal okay? now cheer up" nandhini says.

"hmm" she mumbles and nandhini smiles at her cute stubbornness.

"Acha suno chachi mujhe app sa ek baat kerni thi. Manik ki birthday arahi ha kuch ideas do na" nandhini says

"Bache sa behtar kya gift hoga" she says immediately and nandhini rolls her eyes.

"Chachi please. I know manik wants to wait vesa bhi ek din mein pregnant kon hosakta ha. Seriously batao na. If i ask the girls they will just tell me to stand in front of him naked with a beer bottle in my hand which wouldn't work because been there done that and if i ask the guys pakka they will say something dumb like 'just buy him fried chicken and call it a day' " Nandhini says annoyed.

"Naked beer bottle?" chachi asks surprisingly.

"Woh ... batao na!" nandhini yells trying to change the topic.

"Beta tum or mein manik ko siraf 2-3 saal sa jaante ha. Tum na space academy final year mein join kiya tha. Kissi esa sa poocho jo usko saalo sa jaanta ho. Younika sa pooch lo. Uski maa ha akhir" chachi says and nandhini thinks for a while.

"But manik seems so distant from his mom. Does she even know him?" nandhini asks herself.

"Beta a mother knows her kid no matter what. Jao poocho i'll talk to you later" chachi says.

"hmm chalo bye. Love you" Nandhini says and cuts the call and lies down on her bed and thinks for a while. She then picks up her phone and stares at the wallpaper of her honeymoon of herself and manik in front of the Eiffel tower. She can't help but smile.

"You have been gone for an hour and i already miss your presence" she says to the picture just then her phone rings and nandhini snaps out of her trance and notices the caller id over the picture. It was navya. She quickly picks up.

"Hey navya whats up?" nandhini asks.

"Hey nothing much. So tired yaar mushkil sa abeer ko sulaya. Mukti or kabir bhi nahi ha ghar pa so i had to handle abeer myself" navya says in a low tone.

"Haan manik just left a while ago as well. Mukti ka foot kesa tha? Was she able to walk today ya wheelchair?" nandhini asks.

"She was walking but with crutches. Hope she can perform well at the music launch today" navya says.

"Ya she should be fine fab 5 ha na uske saath" nandhini says.

"Ya acha mukti told me ka it was a false alarm. Tum theek ho na nandhu?" navya says and nandhini closes her eyes.

"Navya tumhe yaqeen nahi ae ga jub mene result negative dekha toh mere ankho mein ansoo aa ge. Mujhe nahi pata tha ka i would be so affected by an unplanned baby" nandhini says and feels herself get sad again.

"Haha i know what you mean. Abeer ka baare mein jub pata chala i was heartbroken because i was unmarried and pregnant with harshad's baby and he did not care at all. But slowly slowly mujhe ehsaas huwa ka abeer is the biggest blessing for me.Now I'm actually happy that me and harshad were together and all this happened. " Navya saya and nandhini thinks.

"But Harshad na kabhi bhi abeer ko accept nahi kiya is baat ka dukh nahi hota? Like mein janti hoon manik harshad jesa nahi ha lekin mujhe yeh bhi pata ha ka manik kuch saal wait kerna chahta ha toh should i be selfish and want a baby or think about manik and wait?" nandhini asks navya.

"I would say if it happens it happens and accept it otherwise wait kerlo manik ki khatir. And haan afsos toh hota ha ka harshad ub mera or abeer ka zindagi ka hissa nahi ha but i guess it's okay" navya says .

"Ya i can imagine. Anyways yaar i need help planning manik's birthday surprise" nandhini says

"just strip" navya jokes and nandhini rolls her eyes.

"era yaar seriously batao na. Chachi bol rahi thi ka maa sa pooch na chaya mujhe. Tujhe kya lagta ha?" nandhini asks and there was a long pause on the other end.

"Lekin nandhu younika and manik are so distant. How would she know anything?" navya asks.

"Yehi toh mena socha but chachi was like maa sa behtar kisko pata?" nandhini says and there was silence on the other line.

"hmm chachi theek bol rahi ha. Toh plan kya ha? Younika sa kesa baat kerogi?" navya asks.

"Pata nahi yaar yehi toh tension ha. I have never had a proper conversation with her pata nahi kesa baat shuru kero" nandhini says and then she hears a baby's cry on the other line.

"Oho abeer uth gaya. Chalo good luck. Let me know younika sa kya baat hoti ha" navya says quickly.

"Okayy okayy jaa abeer ko zor ki pappi meri taraf sa " nandhini says with a smile and cuts the call and lays down on her bed.

"Kya kero kya kero? Maa ka pass jao? nahi kal subah pooch loongi birthday celebration toh kal raat ko ha na... Nahi nandhini kal kere so aj ker aj ker so ub!" nandhini says and jumps off the bed and runs downstairs. She looks around the empty mansion not knowing where to find younika then she finally spots her smoking a cigarette near the pool area. Nandhini takes a deep breath and walks towards her and taps her shoulder from behind. Younika turns around and raises her eyebrows as she sees nandhini.

"Yes?" she asks confused.

"Woh umm maa can i ask you something?" nandhini blurts out.

"haha no" younika says and laughs and nandhini felt hurt.

"Please maa it's about manik" nandhini says and younika stopped laughing and slightly nodded her head. Nandhini smiled and gestured her to sit down on the beach chairs so the could talk. younika follows her towards the chairs and they both sit down.

"So what did you want to talk about nandhini?" younika says in her deep sexy voice and nandhini gulps by the intensity of her voice. She didn't know how to start the conversation.

"Woh kal manik ka birthday ha na..." she says.

"So?" younika interrupts her and nandhini was now pissed.

"So? Apka beta ha woh app ko uski birthday pa thori si bhi khushi nahi ha? Uski zera si bhi perwa nahi ha? kaisi maa ho?" nandhini yells at her in anger and younika smiles.

"Woh mera beta toh ha but shayad mein uski maa nahi hoon. Toh mujh sa yeh sub pooch na ka kya faida?" younika says and nandhini rolls her eyes and stands up and starts to walk away.

"Simple" younika says and nandhini turns around and looks at her.

"Manik ko simple cheezain passand ha. Life mein usne paisa bahot dekhe ha lekin choti choti khushiya miss kerdi ha. Just keep it simple" younika says and nandhini smiles.

"Thanks" she says with a smile and younika stands up from her chair and walks towards nandhini.

"Good luck" She says and walks away leaving nandhini smiling.

"See manik, your mom does care" nandhini says to herself
