Chapter 6
"I love you." she heard him saying after few moments of staring at each other's eyes.
"What?"
"I love you. I don't know from when but I realised it recently. You are everything I want Nandu."
Nandini looked at him with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe what she just heard. He loves her, only her not Veebha.
"Abh tu bhi I love you bolde yaar. Why are you taking so much time? You don't love me Nandu?" he said dramatically.
"No, no of course I love you." she said immediately but then she realised what she said and blushed.
Manik grinned and pulled her closer to him.
"I didn't know you could blush. You look cute when you blush. You are looking so cute that I feel like eating you."
"Monster." she murmured.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"No you said monster, didn't you?"
"No I didn't." she said while moving away from Manik.
"Oh Mani what's that?" she said while pointing at something behind him. When Manik turned around to see, she got up and run away from him.
"Monster." she shouted and run faster.
As Nandini run in the living room with Manik behind her trying to catch her, she saw Veebha coming in.
She stopped running and Manik, who didn't see Veebha, caught her from her waist and kissed her neck.
Veebha, who came in Murthy Mansion searching Manik, saw this and was burning in jealousy.
"Manik. Veebha is here." Nandini whispered to Manik.
Manik stopped kissing her neck and looked up to see Veebha looking at them.
Manik was about to ask her about the things she said to Nandini when Fab4 came in.
All settled down in the living room.
Cabir was looking at Manan as he noticed that today they are behaving differently and then he realised what could have happened.
"Are you guys together now?" he asked Manan.
All the others stopped talking and looked at Manan.
Manik looked at Nandini and said yes before kissing her cheek.
Veebha looked at them shocked. She didn't expect them to be together. She thought they were just best friends even though Nandini liked Manik but she never thought that Manik liked Nandini too.
All the other except Veebha hugged Manan and congratulated them.
"Mukti give me my money now, I won." Cabir said to Mukti.
Mukti handed Cabir the money while Manan were looking at them confused.
"We had a bet. Cabir said that you guys will get together this week while I said after two weeks." Mukti said as she saw Manan looking at them confused.
"I can't believe this. You guys are impossible." Manik replied.
Before one of them could reply, Manik's phone rang.
He excused himself and went to take the call.
While the others started talking to Nandini.
Manik returned after two minutes and said that he has to leave because Raj needs him in a meeting.
He kissed Nandini's forehead and left.
Veebha got angry seeing that and decided to go to Malhotra Mansion as she was not interested in talking with Nandini.
After she left, the others were talking when they heard a voice shouting Nandini's name.
"NANDINI."
Nandini looked up and found her best friend standing near the door.
She run to her and hugged her tightly.
"I missed you Navi. Come I'll introduce you to my new friends."
She took her in front of Fab4 and started introducing everyone. When Cabir's turn came, Nandini saw him lost in Navya.
"And this is Cabir." she said after shaking him a little to bring him back to reality.
Cabir blushed a little and smiled to Navya.
Navya smiled back at Cabir and looked around trying to search for someone.
"But where is your Mani?" she finally asked after not finding him.
"He is in a meeting but he'll come soon."
"Good because I really want to meet him. I want to see what's so special about him that you always talk so highly of him."
"Manik is indeed a very special person." Cabir said.
Nandini smiled and nodded her head in agreement.
They talked, joked, played games and teased each other for 3 hours before Manik came.
He walked in and went straight to Nandini.
He kissed her forehead and sat down next to her.
After that Nandini introduced him to Navya.
All of them started talking again but Manan saw Cabir staring at Navya from time to time so how can Manik lose that opportunity to tease him. He sent a message to Cabir.
"Stop staring at Navya. You'll scare her."
Cabir read the message and glared at Manik.
Manan just laughed.
After a while everyone left as they thought Manan needed some time together.
Manan went to the pool side area and sat there.
Manik was hugging Nandini from back while Nandini was leaning on his chest and had her hands on top of his hands.
"Mani I think we should tell our parents about our relationship."
"Okay we'll tell them after few days."
Nandini got out of his hold and looked at him.
"After few days? Why not now?"
"Okay we'll tell them today, happy?"
"Very."
Manik smiled and hugged her tightly.
"I love you so much jaan." he said after breaking the hug and kissing her forehead.
"I love you more." she said staring in his eyes.
Manik looked at her eyes and then at her lips and leaned closer.
They leaned closer until their lips were a inch apart.
They looked at each other again and Manik closed the distance between their lips.
The kiss was hard yet soft, it was fiery yet cool, it was filled with their hunger for each other but it was also filled with love. Even though they have kissed before, it seemed like the first. They felt as if the whole world cheered for them, as if fireworks and explosions went off behind them, as if all eyes were on them.
In that one kiss, they knew that they are meant for each other, they realised that they need each other in their life, forever.
"Marry me." Manik said after breaking the kiss.
Nandini ,who was trying to catch her breath, looked at him shocked.
Some of you said that Manik confessed quickly, well you guys forgot that this is a ss so I have to make things happen quickly. Also, I don't know when I will update because my school is starting this Monday.😭 But I'll try my best to update next week.
