Chapter 1
Malhotras and Murthys(except Nandini) are sitting together in the living room of Murthy Mansion waiting for Manik to arrive. Manik is finally coming back to Delhi after many years from Mumbai.
Everyone is patiently waiting for him and his friends.
Finally they hear his magical voice shout ''I'm back''.
They turned around to see him standing with his friends.
After a lot of hugs and kisses, they finally settle down in the living room.
Manik was looking around for that one person whom he missed the most but he couldn't see her anywhere. Abhimanyu noticed Manik looking around and understood that he is looking for Nandini.
''Manik,Nandini is in her room sleeping. Actually she was in the hospital for 24 hours so she was tired.''
''Oh. But why was she working 24 hours?''
Before Abhimanyu could reply, they saw Nandini coming down with her eyes closed, looking very sleepy and cute.
Everyone watched as she came to the living room and sat down with her eyes closed the whole time.
''Pushpa give me my coffee please.''
Manik smiled widely as he finally heard her voice after so many years.
''Nandu open your eyes.'' Abhimanyu said.
Nandini slowly opened her eyes and looked around at everyone until her eyes met Manik.
''Maniii.'' she shouted and jumped on him as he was already standing with his arms wide open waiting for her.
Fab4 and Veebha were looking at them shocked as Manik never hugs a girl except for Alya,Mukti and Veebha.
Veebha did not like how close they were. Manik has never hugged her like that so why is he hugging her like that? She wondered.
''I missed you so much jaan.'' they all heard Manik say. This was more shocking than their hug.
Finally they broke their hug but Manik still had his arms around her waist, holding her close to him.
''I missed you too.'' she replied to him making him grin.
''Come let me introduce you to my friends.''
He took her hand and went in front of Fab4 and Veebha.
''This is Cabir,Mukti,Dhruv,Alya and Veebha. And guys this is Nandini,my jaan,my best friend and the only person in this whole world that knows everything about me.''
They all smiled at Nandini even Veebha who was relieved to hear that they were only friends.
After that Manan sat down next to each other and Pushpa came with Nandini's coffee.
''So princess why were you working 24 hours?'' Raj(Manik's dad) asked.
''There was a bus accident so i had to stay back.''
''Today is your day off right?'' Neyonika asked.
''Unless there is an emergency it's my day off.''
''I hate that you became doctor. How are we going to spend time together now?'' Manik complained.
Nandini turned and smiled looking at his cute pout.
''We will spend time together, don't worry. By the way when are you going back to Mumbai?''
''After two or three weeks.''
Before Nandini could reply, Pushpa told them that a person came for Nandini.
''Dr. Nandini.''
Nandini stood up and went near him.
''Yes?''
''Chief(of Surgery) sent this for you and asked for you opinion.''
He gave Nandini the file and left.
''Pushpa can you please put this in my room?''
She nodded and went up with the file while Nandini went back to sit next to Manik.
She looked at him and saw him drinking her coffee.
''That was my coffee Mani.''
''You still haven't learnt to share jaan.''
''I don't share food and coffee.''
And took her coffee back.
''Manik never drinks from someone else's cup so how is he drinking from her cup?'' Alya whispered to Dhruv but Veebha also heard it and looked back at Nandini and glared at her.
