ABOUT THIS STORY...
So many of you wanted to know where I get my ideas from. 😉Now that's what this post is all about. But before I begin blabbering, let me ask you one thing.
What're your thoughts on gay romance?
Yup. You heard me right. Gay romance. If ever such a story on KYY was to pop up on this forum, would you enjoy reading it? Do let me know!
Couple of years back, I believe in 2011, my best buddy from school narrated a beautiful story he had written. It was about the steamy relationship between two men. I know that this kind of a story isn't much appreciated by the masses but trust me, if he had written it in the classic style where boy meets girl, gets girl and loses girl, it wouldn't have matched up to the magnificence of the one he had written.
By the way, would you like to read this story? If yes, do let me know. I'd be pleased to share it out here. The credits for the original plot will always rest with him. During the narration, I had suggested certain scenes and improvisations. And that's how the autumn scene was born. It's the last scene in the story (and maybe even the opening scene).
So first root of this story on old aged couple sprouted from that single scene.
Later in the year, I was moving around with screenwriters from Hollywood, shopping for title suggestions on the story. One of them suggested "Autumn" because it represented the last moment of joy before retreating to take cover against the harsh winter. I think you can connect to the symbolization?
In around 2012, I watched a beautiful Malayalam art film called as "Oru Cheru Punchiri" (A slender smile). This is the second root.
It's about an old couple who live every single day of their lives to the fullest. Until one day, the man passes away leaving the woman to do the things they once did together all by herself.
It made me wonder. Which could be harder? Losing your soulmate at a young age? Or losing your soulmate after spending several decades or your life together?
I'd say that this is love at its splendid best. This is true romance. If ever you come across this beautiful film, never miss the chance to watch it.
I must admit that after this movie, I never saw my grandparents in the same light again. The love they had for each other was deep. It was pure and spiritual. It was beautiful. ❤️
It wasn't until 2015 that I came across Pixar's animation movie "Up". In fact, I came across this while searching for the song "Nothing's gonna change my love for you" on YouTube. It had the boy band Westlife performing the song to beautiful visuals from the movie. Probably, to a certain extent, this has inspired me too. This is the third root.
Fourth, is the true love story of Meghan, a cancer patient, who fought for her life with her husband Adam by her side. After her death, Adams sets out to fulfill the last few wishes on her bucket list. Check out this YouTube video.

So, here's about the story. Let me know what you guys think about my first question. I'm waiting.

😆😆Thank you so much my love! I'm going to give a little background on my inspiration for the story in my next post, so it's going to be much clearer 😉Its clear now.. And you're welcome, you deserve it😃I'm a lover of Autumn too. I believe everyone loves Autumn. It's probably one of the most beautiful sights to see and experience! I've never had first hand experience though. 😕 Sigh. Here we go bucket list. One more entry. LOL.True. That's just beautiful. Same here.. No first hand experience That's in my bucketlist from long!😆 Before that, I wanna step into the paradise/heaven called Maldives!😳😉

Gay romance would be interesting.. It'll be something new to read, to know how their lives be as gays, to know how they show their butt to the narrow minded society and live as they want to. To know their romance life would be an interesting thing to read, I'm ready to read it.. So your best friend has the credits.. Hmm.. This is nice.. As soon as I get a couple more green signals for this story, I'm going to start with it. It has been so long since I'd discussed this story with my friend and my memory is hazy here and there. To add, I had also written down the plot and misplaced that book. 😕 But I still recollect many of the breath taking scenes in that! It's something I would love to share. Any ideas on who the "couple" would be? 😉
And I think I've heard the movie's name.. Oru cheri punchiri.. But I don't understand Malayalam so didn't watch it.. Hmm you seem to be a south indian, na? Well I'm one :) Yup. I'm from Kerala. How about you?Cancer.. I hate this stupid thing! I completely hate it. It hurts even when one knows about the death of a cancer patient who's a stranger. I understand. It makes the patient and his/her family completely helpless. Thankfully, there are cures for cancer nowadays. And I'm not talking about the conventional treatments (chemos, radiations, surgeries). Unfortunately, people are still skeptical about this even when they are on the brink of death.I don't know the answer to this, losing your soulmate at a young age or living your life together and then losing that person. Yeah. It's a very difficult answer. I guess both are equally tough on the person. But probably, an older person would be strong enough to come out of the loss. The story's title suits the plot.. And, the prologue is the last scene?! Thank you! 😊 Yes. The title was suggested by a screenwriter from the U.S. The scene where we see the man sitting alone under the autumn trees is apparently the last scene which I had suggested for my friend's story. Well. I'm using a similar scene for this one as well. 😉And I'm waiting to read the story now! Post the first chapter soon plz :) Definitely. But be warned... it isn't going to be happy. Better keep a tissue if you've got a weak heart. 😆 I know that this will be one reason for many to drop out, but I can assure you that there'll be enough scenes to depict all the great moments that they had spent together. 😉

Sorry sorry yaar. Had to catch up on a lot of sleep that I'd been missing lately. My batteries are about 70% now. Enough to get me going. 😛 And yeah, I know that I created my own monster. 😆😉

Oh that's completely alright! You don't need to be sorry for sleeping. 70% is enough?! I can't stay calm without 100% sleep!!😆😆 Sleeping is my hobby and one needs to sleep for cleaning their mind😊
