She opened the door and saw that the alley which was just clear few minutes ago when she picked up her shoe box was decorated with flower petals and the floor was not to be seen.
She was walking on the flower bed not knowing where she has to go.
Flowers bed.
Her heart was beating faster in her chest. Her hands were sweating and she was fidgeting with her fingers with nervousness. She was taking slow steps to her destination. The way was marked with silvery arrows that she has to follow.
'Aiyyappa... Pata nahi Manik Kahan hai... Why is he not coming in front of me... I'm really getting scared now...' She was talking to herself while she was following the pathway which was lit with brightest and colorful lights.
After walking for the whole hallway she came to a halt in front of a door way which says.
"WALK IN
AS YOU WALKED INTO MY LIFE WITH PRIDE
GIVING YOURSELF TO ME
NOTHING BUT HAPPINESS AWAITS YOU "
She smiled heartily. As she knows who this can be. Her eyes got moist with the dept of the words.
She pushed open the door with both the hands to see a dark room. Nothing is visible.
She stepped in but still no sign of any light or any one. Her heart was hammering inside her.
"Manik..." She whispered. She don't know where she was and where Manik is.
She didn't get any reply.
She took few more steps inside but still null... Nada...
Her heart is pounding so fast that it can come out any time. The curiosity level was killing her.
Suddenly a spot light was opened on top her and started showering flower petals from the top. She blinked her eyes and looked up and then down with disbelief. She didn't expect this beautiful welcome for her. She knows that this has to be done by none other that her one and only , most handsome person of this world her husband , who makes sure that she gets the worlds happiness.
Two eyes who is watching her every move from afar was mesmerized by her beauty. She was looking ethereal in the gown she was wearing. No one can beat the innocence of hers. The milky white skin is glowing more in his favorite color RED.
Even after this many days of marriage she still looks new and fresh and untouched. The doe like eyes of hers were twinkle like starts with nothing but purity in it.
She spread her hands smiling widely as the petals were falling on her. But this wasn't done yet when all of a sudden the lights turned on and she heard familiar voices that screamed.
"SURPRIIISE"
Her mouth fell open on what she saw in front of her eyes. She covered her mouth to something that was totally unpredictable. She couldn't believe on her eyes what she saw. Though she knows that it's possible but she still was awestruck by the scene.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANDINI "
All of them screamed in unison.
There were two screens in front of her ,on one was his father sitting on a chair with Amms beside him and Shanno Chachi , chachaji , Namratha and Rishab standing behind them.
And on the other screen there were fab4 on one sofa with Navya and Abhimanyu with them , and on the side there were Nyonika and vikram sitting with Nani and Dadi.
She was still numb standing on her place. The trance broke when she felt a hand on her waist.
Manik came by her side and gave a squeeze to her to bring her into the reality.
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART..." He whispered in her ear and he gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"Manik hamari taraf se bhi ek ek kiss de de usse..." Cabir teased.
Nandini blushed by his comment.
"Happy birthday Nandini...". Nyonika and vikram said together.
"May all your wishes get fulfilled..." Nyonika said.
"Janam din bahut bahut Mubarak ho puttar... Tu hamesha aise hi hasti rahe..." Nanu also wished her.
"Sada suhagan rahe... Aur Haan Waheguru Tum dono Ko aise Kai janam din dikhaye ek saath..." Dadi added her wish too.
"Nandu... My baby... Many many happy writtens of the day... May you live a long life..." Narendra said with lot of happiness seeing his daughter so happy.
"Kanna... Kaisi ho... Janam din bahut bahut Mubarak ho..." Amms said.
"Nandu Kuch Bol..." Shanno Chachi asked Nandini whose eyes got filled with tears of happiness seeing her whole family in front of her.
"Main Kya bolun... " she said very softly...
"Par abhi 12 nahi baje hai naa..." She looked at Manik.
Everyone laughed on her innocence... The room filled with the heartiest laughter of her family.
"Nandu Tum sach mein kitni bholi ho... Yahan per 12 baj rahe hai... Aur tumhare janam din shuru ho,Gaya hai... Samjhi... " this time Navya said and smiled widely.
Manik pulled her closer by her waist.
She got that boosting which she needed. But still she was nervous and overwhelmed at the same time. by seeing all of them together here.
"Nandini you are looking gorgeous... And like your dress..." Aliya said.
"Thank you so much... " she swallowed her tears and continued.
"You gave me the best birthday surprise... I couldn't have asked for more..." Her voice was cracking with emotions.
"Aah Aah... No tears... Waise yeh thank you tumhare stubburn head husband hai na usko jaata hai... Kal se hum sab Ki ungliyon mein dard kar diya hai text karke...
'Ki no one should remind Nandini about her birthday'...'I'm planning a surprise for her'... 'Sab log time per Rehna'... 'Not one person should miss'... 'Warna mujhse Bura koi nahi hoga'...
And all that you know... Waise last line Meri hai... Par Woh yeh bhi keh sakta hai..." Cabir said all together.
Nandini smiled widely on her good fortune... That she has him as her husband and her LIFE PARTNER.
"Nandini tumhe Kya chahiye as a gift for your birthday..." Nyonika asked.
She bend her head down.
"Sharmao nahi beta... Tum Jo kahogi Woh tumhe milega... Yeh tumhara first birthday hai after marriage..." Nyonika asked again.
"Bas... I want my family to be like this Always , Together... Always happy smiling... This will be my ultimate gift for life... " She had tears brimming in her eyes.
"And..." She turned to Manik and held his hands in both of hers.
"Aap ka saath... Not just for this life... But for all the coming lives..." She gaze into his eyes with utmost love for him.
"What Bhabs... Kya tv serials ke bahuon Ki tarha happy family Ki wish kar rahi ho... Koi diamond set ya car ya ghar mangti naa... " Mukti said jokingly.
"But Mukti Woh Tou sab hai na mere paas... " she said smilingly.
" yeh hui na baat... That's like my daughter..." Vikram said clapping his hands.
Manik was watching the super exciting face of her beautiful wife which was glowing with happiness because of the surprise he had planned.
'It's just the start sweetheart ... The night is still young... You will be getting more surprises..." He whispered in her ear. She blushed by his whisper.
"Manik... Hum sab yahin hai abhi... Tu romance baad mein karlena..." Cabir teased agin and all laughed.
"Cabiiir..." He controlled himself.
"Kya Cabir... Thodi der mein hum offline ho jaayenge... Phir Tum dono Ko koi disturb nahi karega..." Cabir said.
"Tou Nandini kaisa laga tumhe surprise... " he asked ignoring Manik's anger.
"Out of this world... No words to describe... " she turned to her father.
"Papa... How are you... How is your health... Are you taking your medicine on time... " she asked so many questions.
"Arey arey... Relax Nandu... I'm very happy... To see you like this... And I get more healthier by just looking at you..." Narendra said.
Nandini's face became in an awe.
"I love you papa..." And she turned to all of them and said.
"In fact I love all of you to make my birthday so special..." She added.
"So Nandini ready for next surprise..." Aliya said who was getting up from her place to go somewhere.
"Another one..." She was really surprised.
Right than Nandini's phone started ringing which Manik had it in his hands.
Anant chachu and Madhu were Face Timing her.
Manik gave her the phone. She picked it up.
"Happy birthday beta... " both chacha and Chachi said together.
"Kaisa kaga tumhe surprise... And also how did you like your dress..." Madhu asked.
Nandini thought even chachu and Chachi knows too...
"Thank you chachu and Chachi... Aap logon Ko bhi pata tha..." She asked.
"Yeh tumhara pati hai naa... Isko surprises plan Karna ache se Aata hai... And on top of that tumhare liye shopping... He matched everything by himself..." Madhu was also disclosing some of the details of the surprise.
"Everything is beautiful Chachi... I loved it..." Nandini said. She was feeling on top of the world right now by the treatment she is getting.
Manik went out of the door and came back with a trolley. It was beautifully decorated with red ribbons and candles all around and It has a beautiful cake placed on it.
Cake
In Malhotra Mansion Aliya brought a cake with a candle lit on it.
And in Murthy villa Rishab ran and brought a cake with another candle lit.
"Iska matlab we called you on the correct time... " Anant chachu said.
"Yup chachu... I thought you forgot... " Manik said.
"Aise kaise bhulte... I won't miss this for anything... You are my bachas..." Chachu said.
"So guys ready..." Cabir asked. They all gathered around the table in their respected places.
Nandini couldn't believe what all is going on. She was just going with the flow.
"Nandini sweetness... Make a wish..." Manik handed over the knife.
With her moist eyes she said.
"My wish is right in front of me..." She watched him with care and love and turned to the screen and smiled.
She blows the candle and there in India all of her family members blown the candles and Nandini took Manik's hand in hers and said.
"My birthday is incomplete without you cutting my cake with me..." They both cuts the cake and everyone sang happy birthday song for her.
She served her first bite to Manik. And Manik feed his half bite to her. Everybody eat the cake in their respective houses and wished her again for her happiness and for their togetherness.
"Chalo guys you have your time now... We will talk to you later..." Nyonika said in the end.
"Thank you guys so much for all this arrangement..." Nandini said.
"Bhabs... Yeh sab Bhai ne kiya hai... So ab ache se Bhai Ko thanks Bol de na ..." Mukti winked at her and she blushed with total red color that matches with her dress.
The screen went off after everyone bid their byes.
Now that both Manik and Nandini were alone , Manik wants to wish her properly.
He slide his fingers around her waist from both the sides and pulled her closer. She collided with his chest resting her palms. on his chest.
"Mrs Malhotra... I didn't get to wish you properly..." He said in a ever husky voice of his.
She Looked down.
"Uh uh... You can't look down... You need to look into my eyes when I wish you..." He lift her chin to face her.
He took a peace of cake and hold it in his fingers.
"Open you mouth..." He looks at her with a very intense gaze that she shivers under his hold thinking what's coming next.
She gulps the lump in her throat and opened her mouth.
He placed the bite in his own mouth and went near her mouth and feed her the cake with his mouth. Going more closer and closer he took her mouth in his as the cake is done. He sucked her mouth very slowly yet very passionately.
She closes her eyes feeling her heartbeat unstable and grabbed on to his shoulder.
He kissed her sucking the life out of her lips , but slowly and sensually that her knees gets wobbly by his eagerness and his proximity.
But today as she was wearing high heels it helps her to glide her hands and hold onto his neck and fist his hair in her fingers.
After kissing her thoroughly he moved away and said.
"Happy birthday my sweetheart... Mahn you tasted like cake yumm... "
She blushed with his sweet gestures and cupped his face.
"Thank you..." She giggles.
"Yeh sab Aapne... " she paused.
"Kab kiya... So grand arrangements..." She was still awestruck on the love he is showering on her.
"Na na sweetie pie... This is not it... Abhi Bahut Kuch Baki hai... But before that let me look at you..." He said and stepped back.
"Hmm... You look stunning... Kaisi lagi Meri choice..." He asked her.
"As usual... No words to describe... But you are looking amazing yourself... Handsome as ever..." She said.
"Only for you..." He pecked her nose.
Than he took her hand in his and lead her outside the room from other side.
She saw that there were colorful rose petals spread all over the alley of the hotel.

Both of them were walking hand in hand. They walked for few minutes until they came in front of a big door.
Manik looked at her and asked.
"Ready..."
She nodded her head.
They opens the doors and stepped out in the open area outside the hotel.
Nandini found another pathway covered with trees on either sides that was decorated with golden lights. She was mesmerized by the view and the brightness.
"Let's go... " he gave a squeeze in her hand.
They walked and walked to come out under the open starry sky. Nandini couldn't utter a word seeing the whole view. Words ate struck in her throat.
And right in front , the table was set for two under the open sky.

With a beautiful ambience of the surrounding and a romantic atmosphere.
Nandini turned to see him , and he was already watching her. Tears started running down her eyes.
"Kya hua... Why are you crying... It's your day... I want to make you feel like the you are the most worlds beautiful girl in this world... My princess... Are you not happy..." He asked.
"Happy..." She said in her sniffing.
"I'm feeling in the clouds... I'm feeling the luckiest girl in this world. .. Thank you for everything. " she hugged him and cried.
They settled on the table and have their dinner taking their own time...
Manik want to pass the time till midnight as her birthday starts then.
They talk to her about anything and everything. When his watch beeped to remind him that it's 12.
He smiled and placed his hand in hers.
"Nandini..." He bring her back from her blabbing.
"Turn around..." He said.
Nandini turned to her back and her mouth fell open once again on the front view.
There trees behind them and fireflies where glowing in full bloom everywhere. They were twinkling like starts on every single leaf and on all the trees.
Fireflies
"Happy birthday Nandini... And I love you..." He said. A waiter brought another cake with I love you was written on it.
Nandini didn't replied but got off from her chair and came near Manik and by making him stand up she throw her arms around him and hugged him right. She stood there for a long time like that.
"What did I do to deserve you... " she asked him with tears eyes.
He smiled at her question.
"I'm the lucky one that I've found you... " he kissed her forehead.
"Here another gift for you..." He forward his hand and opened it in front of her.
Firefly in his hand
A firefly was glowing in his palm. He offered her the firefly and she took it on her palm with an exciting face.
She watched it and than make it fly and join the other fireflies.
He side hugged her and she rest her head on his shoulder.
"Manik..." She whispered.
"Hmm..." He felt elated hearing his name.
"This is the best birthday I have ever celebrated... Thank you so much for everything..." She said and hugged him again.
"I love you..." And she pressed her lips to his. He wrapped his hands around her and hugged her responding to her kiss.
After breaking the kiss they rest their foreheads together.
"This is half of the surprise... Tomorrow you will get the other half of it.. As your birthday gift..." He informed her.
