CHAP 4:

Navya was sitting in canteen and waiting for manik. She called him in canteen and nandini left from college early. Navya saw that manik was coming to her. She gesture him to sit and manik sat in front of her.

"so bolo navya what you want to talk about?" manik asked her and put his books aside and ordered waiter two coffee for them.

"wo actually I want to talk about nandini.." navya said simply and manik looked at her and nodded his head in to continue.

"manik I know you were so embarrassed when nandini talked about you..but you know she is very innocent girl. she is pure heart girl wo dusro ki tarah sab soch kr nhi bolti uske dil mein jo hota hai bas wo bol deti hai..she is kid from her heart because her father always pamper her like that aur usse aise hi lagta hai k jo dil mein hai wo bas bol do bina soche pr wo kbhi bhi kisi ko hurt nhi krti" navya said smilingly. After all she is best friend of nandini. she knows her from her childhood.

"I know navya you are her friend but at least usse thoda samaj na chahiye bolne se pehle" manik said sipping his coffee and try to make her understand.

"kbhi dekha hai tumne bacho ko ku6 bhi soch samaj ke bolte hue? Nhi na nandini is same like child" navya said and gesture him to understand nandini and manik nodded his head in yes and after some talk both left from there.

Manik was thinking about navya's words and he was tracing his thumb on his mobile.

"should I call her??" he asked himself and nodded his head in no.

"I hurt her so badly she was not looking at me whole day...she won't pick my phone..i think I should meet her" manik said to himself and boost up himself and changed his clothes and left from there on his bike.

Nandini was sleeping on her stomach and complaining about manik to her teddy. Her father was also not at home. She was wearing shorts and cute pink top. She picked up her phone and checking her messages when servant came and informed her that someone came to meet her. She without checking herself in mirror went down. she looked at the person and her eyes widened in shock.

"manik what are you doing here?" nandini asked him shockingly and run her fingers in her hair to look like a human being in front of him because she didn't even brush her hair.

"wo...wo..i came here to say sorry.." manik whispered last word "sorry" because for the first time in life manik was saying sorry to a girl.

"sorry? Aur wo bhi tum?" nandini was so shocked. Manik came to her and nodded his head in yes.

"I am sorry muje aise baat nhi krni chahiye thi...I am really sorry and I am feeling very embarrassing to behave so rudely with you and manhandling you" manik was feeling really very guilty because of his behavior.

"ek condition pr I will forgive you" nandini said cutely and raised her eyebrow and manik stared at her confusingly.

"if you will buy two ice cream for me then I will forgive you only" nandini said cutely and crossed her arms around her like a professor.

"really bas itni si demand hai tumhari wow..i am impressed warna usually girls bahot hi zyada tantrums dikhati hai in sab matter mein..ok I will buy you two ice cream tomorrow in canteen" manik said casually and nandini made a bad face.

"o hello not tomorrow aaj abhi muje jana hai ice cream khane..warna main katty tumse fir se" nandini pout her lips and turned her face away from him.

"okay fine let's go.." manik said and nandini also happily start walking to door.

"wait just look at yourself tumhe ready nhi hona?" manik asked her confusingly.

"muje yahan se ice cream khane hi jana hai koi date pr nhi jo main ready hone ke liye wapis jaun..ab chalooo" nandini said in frustrating tone and dragged him and she informed to her servant.

Manik parked his bike in front of ice cream shop. Nandini happily get down from bike and manik asked about flavor she wants to eat. She gave an order of strawberry and chocolate ice cream cones. Manik went to shop to buy ice cream for her. She was looking here and there so excitedly like kid.

Shopkeeper gave a ice creams to manik and said "sir aap ki girl friend bahot cute hai" manik gave an angry glare to him and went to nandini. nandini snatched ice creams from his hand. She was eating ice cream like a kid and blabbering about her likes and dislikes. She was eating both ice cream at same time and messing her face and clothes but she didn't care.

"nandini I will buy another for you but dheere dheere khao pehle ek finish kr lo baad mein doosra khana" manik said in serious tone and took out his handkerchief and he was about to give it to her but her both hands were busy in holding ice cream. Manik sighed in disbelief and wiped ice cream from her face and her hand. Her hair strands were disturbing her so manik carefully tucked it behind her ear. after sometime they both left from there.

Manik parked his bike in front of her mansion. nandini get down from bike smilingly and said in happiest tone "thank you so so much for ice cream...daddu to ice cream khane hi nhi dete is liye maine demand ki ice cream thank you so much and haan don't tell daddu about our ice cream party haan?" manik smiled and nodded his head in assurance.

"and yes one more thing nandini I said sorry to you and take you for ice cream party that doesn't mean ke I have some feelings for you and haan pure college ke samne iss baat ka announcement mat kr dena ok?" manik asked her in serious tone and nandini nodded her head and manik left from there.

"shayad tumhare liye ku6 feelings nhi hai but mere dil mein to tab se hai jab se maine pehli baar tumhe dekha tha...you are crazy nandini murthy" nandini said dreamily and slapped her forehead and ran in her mansion.

She was waiting for her father to join her on dinner. He came down and both ate their dinner with lots of fun and of course tantrums of nandini on food. After dinner they both were sitting on sofa. Nandini's head was on his chest and her father was caressing her hair lovingly. Both were watching a movie.

Suddenly mr.murthy's phone rang. He picked it up and he was about to get up but nandini hold him tightly and nodded her head in no. he sighed and sat again and talking on phone. Nandini was watching movie with so much interest. In movie there are two best friends were talking.

Movie scene:

One girl was talking on her phone and she was talking with her boyfriend and addressing him as "aap". Her friend was looking at her confusingly. She cut the call and her friend asked her "tu kab se tere boyfriend ko aap kehne lagi?"

She smiled and said "of course pehle wo mere boyfriend the, but now he is my fiance so ab mumma ne bola to address him as aap not tum and all its disrespect for him so that's why main unhe ab aap kehti hoon" her friend nodded her head in yes.

MOVIE SCENE END:

Nandini was watching this scene and thinking deeply something. Her father cut the call and asked "what happen? mera baby where are you lost?" nandini smiled and nodded her head in no and fed his father a popcorn. After sometime they left from there to sleep. Her father went to her room with glass of milk and nandini drink it with lots of tantrums. Her father pecked her forehead and left from there.

Nandini was thinking about movie scene and thought in her mind "so sach main aisa hota hai? Muje to kbhi kisi ne aisa nhi bataya? Kya karun? Ammm...let's ask navya usse pata hoga" nandini immediately call her and navya in frustrated manner picked her phone.

"kya hai nandini kitni gehri neend mein thi main and you woke me up" navya said in irritated tone and nandini smiled.

"muje na tumse ek question krna hai?" nandini asked her and navya sat on bed and said her yes to continue. Nandini narrated movie scene to navya and asked innocently "sach mein navya aise hota hai? Tum cabir ko kaise bulati ho?"

Navya smiled on her innocent question and said "haan aisa hota hai humari engagement ho gyi hai isliye hum bhi cabir ko aap hi kehte hai waise unhone to mana kiya but still main to aap hi kehti hoon..but tuje in sab ki chinta abhi se kyun hai? Nandini kya chal rha hai tere dimag mein?" navya asked her suspiciously.

"tuje nind aa rhi hain na so jaa kal college mein milte hain bye good night" nandini said hastily and cut the call without waiting of her answer. Navya nodded her head in disbelief and sleep.

Next morning in college manik was sitting in canteen. When someone patted his shoulder and manik turned and saw a person was standing in front of him and smiled.

"cabir...mere yaar what a pleasant surprise" manik exclaimed with joy and hugged him tightly. Cabir also smiled and patted his back after all they are best friends from childhood. They are not just best friends but brothers. They are brothers from other mothers. They both are best IPS officers.

They both sat on chairs and start talking about their life. Manik and cabir were in different cities for duties but they always share their happiness, problems everything with each other.

"bol tu yahan kaise aur bataya bhi nhi kal hi to baat ki thi humne?" manik asked him in surprised tone.

"agar bata deta to tuje supprise kaise krta ...good news is that mera transfer yahan ho gya hai in Mumbai with you in same branch" cabir said in happy tone.

"really I mean..wow I am so happy now we are back again" manik exclaimed with joy.

"so how your mission is going?" cabir asked him in serious tone.

"not now we will talk about in my office yahan pr not safe" manik also said in serious tone and cabir nodded his head in yes. Before cabir can say anything someone closed his eyes from back. cabir smiled and removed her hands from his eyes and turned back.

"aap to kal aane wale the na?" navya aksed him surprisingly and cabir held her hand and made her sit on chair. Navya saw manik and looked at them confusingly and asked "aap jante hain manik ko?" cabir and manik exchanged their looks and manik nodded his head in yes.

"yep we are family friends actually my uncle is business partner with his father that's why we knows each other" manik lied and cabir sighed in relief. Navya believed them. at the same time nandini also came and hugged navya tightly and then her eyes fall on cabir and navya introduced them. cabir asked manik with eyes about nandini and manik nodded his head in yes.

"hiii..i am nandini..navya's best friend aur aap cabir bhai right na muje sab pata hota hai...navya ke fiance hai na..." nandini asked and manik literally palmed his ears because of nandini's loud voice. Cabir also laughed out loud because he also likes nandini.

"hii nandini I am cabir Dhawan..navya's fiance waise main tumhare bare mein sab janta hoon navya roz batein krti hain tumhare bare mein" cabir also exclaimed with joy nobody can say that he is an IPS officer. Manik and navya both slapped their forhead because they know how cabir is???

"main sabke liye ku6 lekar aati hoon khane ko what say?" nandini said in joy and navya nodded her head in yes. Everyone give their orders except manik. cabir was showing something navya in his phone. Nandini was about to go but she stopped and turned and looked at manik.

"ji aap kya lege? Main aapke liye kya lekar aau manik?" nandini asked him and everyone stopped their work and looked at her shockingly. Manik gave an angry glare to her and nandini ran away from them. navya also went behind her.

"so kya chal rha hai?" cabir asked naughtily and manik slapped his shoulder.

"kuch to chal rha hai uske shaitani dimag mein" manik whispered and cabir smiled.

So kaisa laga???
