CHAPTER -10
Murthy Mansion-
After Manik left with the kids, Padma , Pia and Nandini started missing the kids.
Nandini went to the kids room and took one of their soft toy(teddy) and slept on the couch hugging the teddy.
Not even a day had passed and she was missing Aarav and Khushi so much.
They had become an important part of her life.
Even Padma and Piya felt bad that now the kids won't be staying with them.
Padma went to Nandini's room and found her missing.
She searched her everywhere and then went to the kids room to check if Nandini was there.
Padma saw Nandini sleeping peacefully hugging the teddy.
Padma went and sat near her and ruffled Nandini's hair softly and said-
Nandu.. Beta uth jaa.
Aise kyun sorahi hai.
Nandini got up immediately and saw Padma .
Nandini- Maa aap yahan.
Padma- Haan tujhe dhundte hue aayi mai yahan.
Tu yahan kyu so rahi thi.
Nandini- Kuch nai Maa bas wo...
Padma- Bachchon ko miss kar rahi ho. Hai na.
Nandini- Ji Maa.
Padma- Nandu Beta tum janti ho na wo log yahan nahi reh sakte.
Ab hame aadat dalni hogi unke bina Rehne ki.
Nandini- But Maa wo log waha adjust kaise honge . Wo log abhi chote hai na. Agar royenge to...
Padma- Janti hu Beta. But Manik hai na. Wo unka dhyan ache se rakhega. After all wo usi ke bacche hai. Usse achi care aur kaun karsakta hai undono ki.
Nandini- Hmm... I think you are right.
Padma smiled and said- Tu bahut chahti hai na Aarav aur Khushi ko.
Nandini- Haan. Bahut zyada.
Maa Can we talk to them now. please...
Padma thought for a while and said- No Beta wo log abhi gaye hai. Agar hum phone karenge to bache zid karenge yaha aane ki. Aur shayad Manik ko Acha na lage.
Nandini lost in some thought said-
Hmmm.
Padma noticed this and said- Acha theek hai we will call them in the evening.
Nandini's face lit up. She got up and hugged her mother and said- Maa thank you so much . You know you are the best.
Padma smiled and said - Bilkul Pagal hai tu.
Nandini in excitement- Wo to mai hoon...
Mai Pia Di ko batake aati hu.
Saying this she rushed out of the room to inform Pia.
Padma - Pata nai kab badi hogi ye...
Meanwhile at Manik's bungalow-
Manik was busy in his laptop doing some office work in his room.
It was almost evening now.
Manik saw the time and shut his laptop.
He went to check on the kids.
As soon as he entered he saw Aarav and Khushi playing with the toy train which he had got for them.
He smiled and sat near them.
Manik- Arey waah my babies are already awake.
Aarav-Khushi saw Manik and hopped onto him and said - Dadoo...
Manik kissed both their cheeks and they kissed his cheeks in return.
Manik started playing with them.
They were enjoying a lot.
They started a pillow fight on bed.
Aarav-Khushi won in the fight and they climbed on Manik and giggled saying- Yeah we won. We won...
They shared a good family time.
Manik's phone started ringing.
The kids got up from him and he received the call.
It was from Padma.
Manik- Namaste Maa.
Padma- Namaste Beta. Beta Bachche kaise hai. Zyada tang to nai kar rahe hai na.
Manik- No Maa. Abhi mai unhi ke sath tha. They are enjoying here a lot.
Padma- Beta agar tum bura na Manik to kya mai unse baat karsakti hu.
Manik- Of course Maa. Usme bura maanne wali kya baat hai. Aap jab chahe tab baat karsakti hai unse.
Padma- Thank you Beta. Jeete raho. Khushi raho hamesha.
Manik to his kids- Baccho Nani ka phone hai. Lo bat karo.
As soon as they heard this they got really excited and ran towards Manik.
Aarav-Khushi- Yeah Nani ka phone...
Manik smiled and gave the phone to them.
