CHAPTER -48
Manik drove to the theatre with Nandini and Aarav-Khushi.
As soon as they reached the theatre, Manik got down from the car and opened the car door for Nandini like a true gentleman.
Nandini got down.
Then Manik picked up Aarav-Khushi and entered the theatre with Nandini.
Manik went to take the tickets while Nandini and the kids waited .
In the meantime Navya also came to the theatre with Manav.
Nandini saw Navya and said- Arey Navya Di aap...
Navya - Arey Nandini tum log bhi yaha ho. Wo Kya hai na Manav zid kar raha tha ke usey ye movie dekhne hai to mujhe aana pada.
Nandini - Ok.
Navya - Waise Acha hi hai. Manav ko company miljayegi . Aur wo mera sar nahi khayega .
Aarav-Khushi got happy seeing Manav.
Manik got the tickets and some popcorn and they entered the movie hall.
Manik and Nandini occupied the seats at the corner with the kids sitting at the centre and Navya at the last.
Seating arrangement- First Manik then Nandini then Aarav-Khushi and Manav and lastly Navya.
Navya purposely made Manik and Nandini sit together.
The movie started and the kids got busy in enjoying the movie.
Nandini was also watching the movie with the kids.
But Manik's total attention was on Nandini.
He was continuously stealing glances of Nandini and smiling seeing her excitement while watching the kids movie.
Nandini who was completely lost in the movie didn't notice Manik looking at her.
Nandini who had left her hair open were disturbing her view.
She was feeding popcorn to the kids and was not able to move her hair back.
Manik saw this and removed Nandini's hair from her face with his fingers and put them behind her ears.
Manik got lost in her and unknowingly caressed her cheek with his thumb.
Nandini got affected with his touch.
She looked at Manik and said dreamily holding his hand- Ye kya kar rahe ho aap... Koi dekh lega...
Manik came back to his senses and immediately took his hand back.
Nandini blushed at the act of Manik.
The movie got over and everyone came out.
Navya observed Nandini who was still blushing.
Navya- Kya hua Nandini tum itna sharma kyu rahi ho?
Nandini - Nahi to ... Mai kaha sharma rahi hoon...
Navya then realised that may be something might have happened in the theatre between Manik and Nandini.
Navya thought to give them some alone time together.
Navya - Aarav-Khushi tum log mere sath ghar chaloge. Waha Par Manav ke new toys hai.
Aarav-Khushi - New toys...
The kids looked at Manav who nodded his head in a yes.
Aarav-Khushi - Mumma hum log Manav ke ghar jaye new toys dekhne...pleashhh...
Nandini - Ok Chalo hum log sath me chalte hai.
Navya slapped her forehead mentally.
Navya- Arey nahi tum jao Manik ke sath. Don't worry mai kha nahi jaungi tumhare bachcho ko.
Nandini - Aisi baat Nahi hai...
Navya to Manik- To Manik tum jao Nandini ke sath, mai bachcho ko ghar pahuncha doongi.
Manik - Theek hai. Aarav-Khushi no shaitani Ok.
Aarav-Khushi - Ok Dadooo promishhh...
With this Navya took the kids along with her.
Manik and Nandini were left.
Manik - So... Shall we?
Saying this he opened the car door for Nandini.
Nandini sat in the passenger seat and Manik closed the door with a smirk.
Then he sat at the drivers seat and drove away.
Nandini was nervous as well as happy that she was getting alone time to spend with Manik.
Nandini - Hum kaha jarahe hai?
Manik - Yahi paas me ek naya Chinese restaurant khula hai. Wahi jarahe hai.
Nandini - Oh .Ok.
Manik and Nandini reached the restaurant.
They went and occupied the table for two.
Manik ordered the food.
Nandini- Ek baat puchu...
Manik - Haan pucho...
Nandini - Ab hasoge to nahi mujhpe.
Manik - No Nandini... Mai nahi hasunga. Bolo.
Nandini - Aap bahut ache lag rahe ho is attire me. You are looking handsome. I think aapko aise hi kapde pehen ne chahiye na ki wo boring se three piece suits.
Manik smiled hearing this.
Manik - Oh... so I am looking handsome huh...
Nandini - Haan... Wo boring se attire se to yahi better hai. Pata nahi kaise pehen lete ho aap wo sade se kapde.
Manik started to laugh hearing Nandini's cute complaints .
Nandini - Dekhaaa . Aap has rahe ho. Apne to kaha tha ki aap nahi hasoge...
Manik controlled his laughter and said-Ok Baba sorry... Mai nahi hasunga. Aur abse mai isi tarah ke kapde pehnunga. Happy...
Nandini got excited and said- Very Happy.
Till then the food came and they started eating.
Nandini while eating asked - Apne bataya nahi hum apko kaise lagte hai. I mean my dressing sense. Do you think i should change it?
Manik held Nandini's hand in his hands and said- No Nandini. I like you the way you are... You don't need to change yourself.
Nandini - Sach...
Manik - Haan sach...
Nandini busy in eating said- Thank God Mujhe pata tha aap yahi kahoge. See I have started to know you so well dheere dheere.
Manik smiled hearing this and carried on with the food.
They both finished the food.
Manik paid the bill and they left.
While in the car Nandini said - I think Hume aise hi kabhi kabhi time spend karna chahiye. So that we can know each other aur ache se.
Manik - Hmm. Right.
Nandini self thought- Am I going too fast. Manik kahi bura to nahi manenge . I have to ask Pia Di about this.
They reached home and Manik brought Nandini out of her thought process.
Manik - Kaha khogayi. Hum ghar pahuch gaye hai. Chale andar.
Nandini - Haan... Haan Chalo...
Saying this she got out of the car and both of them went inside.
