Manik left his room to avoid further embarrassment and took out his car and drove away as he had some very important task to do.
Meanwhile Nandini got ready to go to her mother's house for the pag phere ki rasam.
As Nandini didn't have any brother, Cabir offered to drop her home as it was a custom that the bride's brother generally comes to take her back to his home to stay over for the next 2 days. When the ceremony ends , the groom comes for taking his better half back and seeks blessings from her parents.
On the other hand, the bride's parents offer some attractive gifts to the daughter and son in-law in the name of shagun as this is their first visit to the bride's paternal home after the big event. After a scrumptious meal, the bride returns to her rightful home.
Coming back to the story,
While Nandini was wearing her jewellery, Manik came inside and said-
Nandini yeh kya kar rahi ho tum .
Maine mana Kia tha na ke tum isey nahi pehnogi.
Nandini -Haan Par Ab mai kya pehnungi, mere paas to yahi jewellery hai.
Manik - Wear these...
Saying this Manik handed her 5 boxes of light weight diamond necklaces with earrings.
Nandini was surprised to see that Manik had got so much of expensive jewellery for her.
Nandini- But in sab ki kya zarurat thi, mere paas toh already itni jewellery hai.
Manik - Zarurat hai.
Mujhe ye old jewellery ke designs nahi pasand so you are not going to wear them.
Ab se tum yeh jewellery pehnogi Jo mai lekar aaya hu.
Aur Agar tumhe aur bhi chahiye to pata dena.
Nandini - But...
Manik- No ifs and Buts Ok... Maine boldiya na it's final now. Am I making myself clear to you?
Nandini nodded her head in a yes.
Manik - Good. Ab jaldi se neeche Chalo . Cabir is waiting for you.
Nyonika heard their conversation and thought to herself -
Manik kitna pyar karte ho tum Nandini se .
Uski choti si choti takleef bhi tumse bardasht nahi hoti.
Kash Nandini bhi tumhari is care ka reason jaan pati.
God please Kuch aisa Kari ki Nandini bhi Manik ke liye kuch feel kare.
Mera Beta to hai hi idiot.
Wo khud se Kuch nahi karega Nandini se.
Agar Nandini hi first step le to take their relationship forward to shayad Kuch baat bane.
Saying this Nyonika went down.
Nandini wore one of the diamond set given by Manik and kept the remaining sets safe in the locker.
After this both of them went down.
Cabir saw the necklace Nandini was wearing and thought of a way to tease Manik .He signalled Navya and pointed towards the necklace.
Navya understood Cabir's signal and gave a thumbs up.
Navya- Arey Waah Nandini yeh to bahut pyaar necklace hai. Tumhari Amma ne diya hai.
Manik understood Navya's intentions on hearing this.
Before he could signal Nandini not to take his name, Nandini said-
Nahi Navya Di ye toh mujhe M...
Manik palmed his face thinking that now Cabir will get another reason to tease him.
But Nyonika came to his rescue and said- Maine diya hai...
Navya , Cabir yeh necklace Maine diya hai Nandini ko. Haina Nandini...
Nandini also agreed to Nyonika's statement infront of Cabir and Navya.
Manik thanked Nyonika through his eyes.
Cabir's face fell seeing that Nyonika had spoiled his plan to tease Manik.
Manik smiled seeing Cabir's face.
Cabir whispered in Manik's ears - Is baar to Bach gaya but har baar nahi Bach sakta tu.
Nandini was confused as to why Nyonika was lying but she chucked the thoughts as she was excited to go to her house.
Nyonika - So Nandini Ab tumhe Jana chahiye, tumhari Amma kabse phone kar rahi hai .
Nandini - Ji.
Saying this she touched Nyonika's feet.
Nandini was super excited to go to her home as Pia was continuously messaging her to come home quickly as she had already reached.
Both the sisters had a lot to catch up with.
Aarav-Khushi came running towards her and said - Mumma Hume bhi sath aana hai .
Nyonika- But Beta aap log nahi aasakte Mumma ke sath.
Aarav-Khushi - Kyu.
Nyonika - Agar aap log chale gaye toh Dadoo akele hojayenge na.
Aarav-Khushi looked at Manik and said- Ok hum nahi jayenge.
Manik felt happy that the kids were not throwing tantrums on everything and were growing up and becoming mature.
Nandini after bidding bye to the kids and getting loads of kisses from them on her cheeks was ready to go.
Cabir - Arey Nandini sab ko bye boldiya but Manik ko to bola hi nahi.
Manik gave a deadly glare to Cabir.
Navya- Haan Nandini Manik ko bye bolo . Ab tum 2 din ke liye jarahi ho apni Amma ke ghar to bye to banta hai.
Nandini looked at Manik and said- Bye.
Manik - Bye.
Cabir - Aise nahi ache se bolo.
Nandini - Matlab.
Cabir - Naam lekar bolo ke Bye Manik aur good bye kiss bhi to do.
Nandini - Bye Manik...
Manik again felt good hearing his name from Nandini's mouth.
Cabir - And goodbye kiss.
Manik - CABIRRR...Ab hogaya na. Jane de usey.
Cabir - Mai kab rok raha hu usey. Mai to bas Bye kaise karte hai wo bata raha hu.
Nandini thought that Cabir will not let her go till she does what he said.
Nandini was already getting late so she without thinking and any hesitation kissed Manik's cheek and said - Bye Manik.
Everyone were surprised seeing this act of Nandini.
Nobody had thought that Nandini would really kiss Manik on his cheek infront of everyone.
Manik was surprised and shocked and stunned.
He never thought that Nandini would kiss her infront of everyone.
Nandini - Ab chale der ho rahi.
Cabir- Haan chalo maine kab mana kia.
Saying this they went away but Manik stood there like a statue thinking of whatever happened sometime back.
A smile crept on his face thinking about Nandini.
He thought to himself- DOES SHE LIKE ME?
