Chapter -2
The next morning I wake up with tears strain face and immediately regret my break down yesterday. I should have been more strong and not let the jerks affect me. I move out of the bed and enter the bathroom and wait till the shower gets warm. After the water is warm enough I hop in the shower and complete my business. I put on my usual skinny white pants with a crop peach ti-shirt. Okay I am a nerd but then I wear good clothes. Grabbing my neon colour backpack and putting my hair in a high pony tail I walk downstairs to the kitchen. Well my parents aren't around so I've got aunt Rose for me and I love her dearly. She gives me my breakfast and I run to out of the door.
Hoping in the car I get to school and move towards my locker only to be surprised. The jerks are standing right in front of my locker. Did I mention we go to the same school and that we even have some classes common. Well deep shit! I move towards my locker but they don't move an inch.
"Move." I mumble but they don't. Instead the five of them circle me, not leaving a single space to even look through. My small height really paid today, I seriously feel and look like a deer between lions in short the classic nerd is now surrounded by the most intimidating and hot boys of the school, what a glory for my invisibility.
"Please leave me alone, I-" before I finish I am cut off by Cabir, the prankster and the most jolly member. "What's your name sweet cake? "
"Nandani "
"Beautiful kindly tell us your full name! " says Abhimanyu another member who is like Cabir in pranks but I have herd he has broken many bones.
"Nandani Murty "
" Oh! Aren't you the nerd cupcake? " asks Aryaman the another member whom I don't know much about I glare at him, not that I'm offended but
" Bro you don't say that to this little girl " again I'm cut off by Dhruv the most quiet member, it's the first time I heard his voice. "Why are you all here? Wasn't yesterday enough? " I ask annoyed.
" Um! Baby-girl we are actually here to apologies, you know for what happened yesterday. We didn't plan to make you cry. "
says Manik with a hint of guilt.
"Yeah little girl we were not laughing at you" I stare at Dhruv with confusion.
"Actually sweetie we were laughing at Manik you know. It was the first time somebody walked over his looks. "
I close my eyes and look down, thinking about yesterday and realizing the truth I really wanna bury in a hole in some corner.
"Oh short cake don't blush or be embarrassed. It's totally fine and we are sorry , please forgive us! " says Aryaman and I look at the five of them with wide eyes only to find them smiling with guilt.

Only making my eyes go wider and all of them chuck, I calm myself and speak slowly
"It's okay " and I immediately get engulfed in hug by the huge guys.

I struggle and finally they leave me! " But what's with the names I've got a name of my own which I find quite good "
"Oh, no your name is beautiful. It's just that we really can't help ourselves! Right guys " Manik mumbles the last part with a flushed face and all the other four also have the same red face which causes me to giggle. They look at me and smile.
" So are we friends now short cake? If we can call you so"
"Friends" I ask with a shocked face. The bad boys wana be friend me?
Yea please! says Manik. And others look at me with a puppy dog expression. Okay I'm in loss.
"Okay, friends and you can call me that" I say with a nod and smile.
"You will not regret your decision baby girl. Come we will drop you to the class."
"No it's fine "
"Of course it it's, now come short cake "
I am pulled and I walk like in between. It's
Dhruv - Abhimanyu - Manik - Me - Cabir - Aryaman
and Abhimanyu is carrying my books, my bag is with Cabir and for some totally unknown reason Manik's arm is
wrapped around my waist and on top of all I'm receiving way too many glares! Now that I am friends with the badboys and I know my life will no longer be the way it was. And the presence of this boys is going to bring a really big change.
