Hi guys, So here goes chapter 4.ISo enjoy the update😊😊...

Manik has reached Gurukul by then. He looked around. Nothing has changed. Everything seemed to be as same as before. He then saw Ams at a distance and his mind rushed back to some old memories.

************FLASHBACK************

Manik' Ams took out his name softly to bring him out of Nandini's trance but he was too immersed in admiring his lady love that he answered without bothering to come out of his dreamland.

Ji Guruma' But what came next was least expected.

Kya tum Nandini se pyar karthi ho?' Manik was totally taken aback by this question and he stood there like stone. Then Ams spoke again. Bolo Manik. Do you love her?'

Ams... Aap abhi ye question mujhe puchlo and I'll give the best answer' He thought while getting out of his car. As soon as he got out of his car, he saw Chacha coming towards him. He hugged him which he equally reciprocated. Chacha told him that they should go in as the pooja is going on. Manik's heart skipped a beat on hearing it and he reluctantly agreed. But on reaching the entrance of the pooja room, He got a call and excused himself to attend the call. But on seeing the caller id he thought that it would've been better to have gone inside the pooja room. He didn't pick up the call but then it rang again. Uttering a cursing word in mind, He picked up.

WHAT?' He said with his monster nature on. When this is Manik's first word on picking up the call, you guys might have probably guessed the person at the other end. Yes, it's Nyonika.

Manik, Where are you?' Nyonika asked in a worried tone.

None of your business' Manik retorted back.

Manik, you can't be rude to me all the time' Nyonika said.

And you don't have to fake this concern all the time' Manik said in a stern tone.

Manik, let's drop this topic here and tell me, Tum theek hona?' Manik laughed scornfully but Nyonika went on with her words. And then she did it. She made him remember what he has been trying to forget and he lost all his calm and yelled at her.

Shut up... Why Nyonika? Why the hell do you find so much pleasure in hurting me? Why the hell can't you just let me live my life the way I want it? Now for god's sake, Please dhobara call math karna' And he hung up. His head was messed up with those junk memories and to get a bit calm, he went straight to Nandini's room. He got in her room and many memories flashed in his mind.

************FLASHBACK************

Nandini came close to Manik to make sure that he was real and not her imagination.

Go away' She whispers coming close to him and Manik who was sitting facing the wall turns around with a jerk.

Manik: God! Brilliant! Mathlab of all the room I had to enter her room only' Nandini who was shocked to realize that he was for real, finally spoke.

Nandini: Manik, Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?'

Manik: Expected reaction' Manik whispered with a wide grin. Kaha? Mangalore mein or tumhari room mein?'

Nandini: Dhono' She said with a cute expression.

Manik smiled remembering her expression. He then remembered his flirting session with her on her 18^th b'day.

************FLASHBACK************

Manik: OUCH!' Manik said putting his hand on his chest. Nandini who was unaware of his presence looks at him with a tug.

Nandini: Manik, Kya hua?' She asked in tension.

Manik: It hurts'

Nandini: What hurts?' She asked in confusion.

Manik: Tum' Manik said naughtily.

Nandini: Mein?' His explanation only increased her confusion.

Manik: Apne aap ko dekha hai? Plan kya hai? 18^th b'day! Aur tumne yeh... You wanna kill me?' He asked raising his eyebrows. Nandini on realizing that Manik's flirting mode was on decided to play along.

Nandini: So, Is the plan working?' She asked him.(Not before blushing).

Manik: Totally' He replied, a bit shy. Bas voh... ek cheez missing hai.'

Nandini: Kya?'

Manik: Vo.. red lipstick' Nandini smiles at first brushing her lips with her thumb and then looks away blushing. Wear it. Please'

Nandini: Kyu?' That line of hers was less than a whisper and she said that without looking up.

Manik: Kyu huh? Kyunki it looks good on me. Yeh red lipstick looks good on me.'

Manik smiled remembering those old memories.Then she saw a picture of her and Rishab. She was looking too cute in the picture. Her cuteness reminded him of her drunken night. The night in which she had let go off all her inhibitions. The night which she made her first promise to him.

Tumna Manik, inke chakkar mein math pado. Tumna Humesha mera sath raho. Humesha. And I will... I will shine for you.

Her first Humesha. Their first Humesha. And as always Nandini Murthy has kept her promise. She shined for him. She protected him. She dragged him from the veil of darkness to light with her pure love and innocence. She completed him. But ab... He then felt a hand on his shoulder dragging him out of his thoughts. He turned around to find Mukti. Her expression was serious.

Manik: Aree Mukti..' He was happy to see her and gave her a friendly hug.

Mukti: Andar chale?' She said in a serious tone. Without waiting for his reply she dragged her along with him. When they entered the pooja room, Aliya saw them and she gave Manik a weak smile. They went and sat beside her. He felt a fire burning deep inside his heart. He was feeling so suffocated and closed his eyes shut to get away from whatever was happening around him. When his eyelids met, he again got lost in her thoughts and his lips curved into a smile when he remembered his personal favorite line of hers. Because... I... trust you. (Remember the morning after her drunken night) Manik had felt on top of the world after listening to her. He felt so happy on hearing those words from her. He was brought back to the present by the Panditji's (It's not Pandit Trilok Chaurasya. I mean the pandit who's performing the pooja) voice.

So guys, the next part is gonna be the final part of this work and It's gonna be... well you will know it in the next chapter. And guys, tum logone mujhe bohot saari qns pucha but bhi tak vo qn nahi pucha tht I was expecting. And I must say ki I'm a bit disappointed about that. But still But thanks 4 ur love, likes and comments. And pls do comment more. And till my next n final update, keep imagining what's on my evil mind😉😉...
