Hi guys, this is my first attempt to pen down MaNan. It was during these last few days that I came across KYY. Thanks to my friend Arya for that bcoz she is the one who introduced me to MaNan. I know you guys also just love them like hell. Hope you guys like it.
MaNan: I Knew You Couldn't Forget Me
Chapter 1
It was around 1AM when Manik reached the Malhotra mansion. Though it was not that late for the Manik Malhotra, It was really a very tiring day for him. His Dad has handed over the Malhotra group of industries to him and so now he is the youngest business tycoonin India( and yeah of course the most handsome one too).And he have not left his music as well. He has set up a jamming room and a recording room in his house itself. And Fab3 are still in contact. Mukti's solo launch was a huge success and now she is quite busy with her schedules. Aliya is happy in her fashion career but yea... she misses Dhruv. And Nandini... Who could tell about her better than her own Monster Manik.
He entered his room and crashed into his bed. He was damn tired. He was lying on his stomachand den his lips curved into a smile on seeing something on his bed side table. The lamp. Remember, the one his star gifted to him on their first diwali.
Happy diwali.Yeh tumhareliye.A gift she saidoffering a golden colored box to him. Diwali keliye?' he asked in a confusing tone. Haa' she said in her usual innocent tone. Seriously' He said his signature Manik Malhotra attitude. Lagta haiManik Malhotra does not have any experience in festivals' Manik dodged oh hearing this and she continued. Jab kisi ki ghar pi jate heyna diwali pe, so gali haath se nai jaati.So Diwali gift.' She finished with a smile. Oh.. God. This gift' He said in a carefree attitude.'Kaunsi era se ho tum? Seriously?' Tradition follow karna is not uncool' She explained. Traditions?'He said in a teasing tone.'Right. Not uncool. Wahi similarly sone ke pehle pray karna god ko is not uncool. Right?'His words brings her the memories of her drunk ni8 to which she blushes. Manik bring her out of her thoughts by questioning her. Kya hua?' He said teasing her but she pretends as if she doesn't remember any of it. I don't know wat u r tlking abt. Tume ye gift nai chahiyena? Give it' she said by taking it from him. Aree... Aisa kuch nahi hai. Accha. Fine. Thanks forrr... gift.Diwali' He said grabbing back the gift in a hurry.
Manik's smile widened on remembering that day. He remembered how she slipped and fell over him when she came up to call him. He remembered how he lost control over himself when she was so close to him and how he ended up kissing her neckand how she stopped him when he was gonna kiss her lips. He couldn't stop smiling to himself recollecting their old moments. He switched on the lamp and he saw the stars on the ceiling. He kept staring at them. She was his star who showed his way out of his darkness.She has changed him... Changed him for the good. Yes his shining star has changed him from Monster Manik to simple Manik. The Musicana opening act night flashed in his memories bcoz that was wen he openly admitted it to her.

Tume pata hai...Tum hamesha mujhe Monster Manik bulathi.' He paused and looked into her with the same intensity with which she was looking at him. Lekin jab tumhari saath hota hona, so... Simply Manik ban jata' He said the last line with a smile
Yes. She was his star. His life. She was there whenever he needed her. She was there with her even when he didn't know who she was. Even when he didn't know how much she meant for him(Yes guys, In my story manik had had lost his memory but don't worry bcoz now he has recovered from it completely). It must have really hurt her that he didn't even recognize her but still she survived. For him. She didn't even leave him for a second. She did everything possible to get him his memories back. She took good care of him as always. She kept her promise as alwaysHumesha.Her promise ran in his head.
Both manik and Nandini are laying down on the ground beside each other behind the college. Nandini looks at Manik with a smile on her face but Manik still pretends to be annoyed at her as she hasn't told him what he wanted to hear. He too looks at her and smiles but then he glances up at the sky. Nandini too stares at the sky but then suddenly she shifts her glance to Manik and then...
Nandini: I'll always shine for you andtum Humesha mera prayers mein rahogi and mein Humesha tumhari trust karogi.
