Chapter 22-

Soon they return back to Mumbai safe and sound...and now that they had got blessings from baba and nandu had got the answers to her questions...she had decided that no..not anymore she is going to tell manik about her feeling ...she has to...

MALHOTRA MANSION

Manan enter hand in hand...in the absence of manan cavya and maneet had said everything to dadi that nandini had to go through over these 5 years and dadi was totally shattered to know that her mishit had to bare so much...

As soon as they ener dadi hugs nandini ...and nandini too hugs her back as she understand that she has got to know everything...

Dadi-(still hugging her)bte...humein maaf kardiyeye...aapko itna sabkuch sehena pada humare bina...aap kitni akele hogayi hongi...aapki dadi bahut sharminda hai...(breaking the hug and taking her hand in hers)

Nandini was also in tears by now she gestured a no...

Dadi- apni dadi ko maaf nahi karungi mishit...

Nandini-nai dadi aap kyun maafi mang rahe ho...aap sab ki wajhese aaj mein zinda hun...mafi toh mujhe aap logon se mangni chahiye iss tarah disappear honekeliye...bahut takleef pahunchai na meine aap sab ko...

Now everybody was in tears ...dadi again hugs nandini and she also reciprocates equally...finaaly...the feeling of completeness...

At the breakfast table...

All are having their breakfast and talking about normal things and as usual manik is forcing nandini to eat more and as always she is saying no but manik is manik ...

Manik- yeh kya baat hui nandu...tum aise chidiya ki tarh kyun kharahi ho...kitni bari bola hai ki breakfast din ka sabse important meal hota hai so u should always have it properly...but tum kahan kisi ki baat sunti ho...

Nandini-(helpless)par manik meine itna sara toh khaya..aab kya bache ki jaan loge...mera peet hai...koi tank nahi ki jitna chaho bharte chale jao...

All were watching this very happily...actually they were having fun watching this cute fight between these two...

When maniks phone rings and he excuses himself to take the call...

Cabir- arre mere syappa queen tut oh aaj badi mushkil se bachgayi ...thanx to the phone call...

Nandini- aur nahi toh...warna aaj toh manik ne pukka plan hi bana liya tha ki mera 4-5 kg badha ke hi chodega...pheww...

Everybody start laughing...

Manik returns ...

Maan- chote kiska call tha..?

Manik- bhai wo...board office se call tha...and they said ki iss saal mujhe best buissness man of the year ka award mila hai...and aaj raat ko unhone award ceremony rakhi hai...

Navya- congrats bhai...u are the best...

Geet was serving so she came and side huged manik...

Geet- aap ko aapki di ki taraf se bahut bahut Mubarak manik...

Manik came towards dadi and took her blessing by touching her feet...

Nandini- congrats manik...tumhe hi award milna tha after all you are the best...

Manik- thank you thank you thank you...achha aap sab ko ana hai sham ko...ok..

Dadi- bte ...hum phir kabhi challenge...iss bar aap nandini ke saath chale jayeye...

Maaneet-(winked at cavya)han manik you both go ahead mujhe aur geet ko aaj Sharma ji ke yahan dinner par jana hai...

Cavya- ya and hum dono aaj mr.shrivastav ke yahan jaa rahe hain...so hum toh nahi aa sakte...

Manik- theek hai phir..mein and nandu chale jayenge...

Nandini was about to get up from the table when...

Manik- oo hello..aap kahan ja rahe hain...

Nandini look at manik confused...

Manik- yeh khana kon khayega...finish your food first ...

Nandini glared at manik while everyone was having a tough time controlling their laughter...

Manik- yeh tumhare glare mujhpe koi asar nahi karne wali so come on finish everything on the plate otherwise I wont let you get up from here until you finish everything...

IN MANAN ROOM-

Nandini was in the room pacing from one place to the other...

Nandini provo-

Aiyappa...kya karun mein...(bitting her nails)kisse baat karun...uff kisse bataun...i need to talk about this to someone...uhnn uhnnn...aiyappa ...kuch toh madad kijiye...

When navya enters with ice cream bowls in a tray...

Nanya- oye...tujhe kya hua hai...isse phuske hua balloon ke jaise yahan se yahan kyun ho rahi hai...

Nandini nodes in negative cutely making a pout...

Navya-(keeping the tray on the bed comes to nandu and makes her face her)jitna humein pata hai ki aise tu tabhi karti hai jab tu bahut pareshan hote hai...hum kal se tujhe notice kar rahe hain...hua kya hai...(holding her chin)

Nandini provo-

Kya karun...bata dun...nai nai...par agar navu se nahi baat karungi toh kisse baat karungi...

Navya- oyee...tu phir kuch sochne lagi...achha ek kaam karte hain...tu idhar aa...(pulls her towards the bed and makes her sit on it and closes the door then comes back and sits beside her)tu yeh kha...(giving her one ice cream bowl)aur ab shanty se chain se bata...kya baat hai...

Nandini provo-

buss ab aur nahi bata hi dete hun kya pata navu mere kuch madad kar paye...

Navya- bol na...

Nandini-navu...(keeping the bowl aside)plz mein job hi bolne ja rahi hun usse dhyan se sunna...and plz...don't judge me ok...because yeh mere control mein nahi tha...it just happened...so...

Navya- nandu...tujhe pata hai...hum tujhe kabhi bhi judge nahi karenge...tu humari sabse pakki wali saheli hai ...so...just speak up...

Nandini-(gets up from her place and starts walking towards the window telling)wo navu...actually...I don't know how...kab,kaise,kyun,...kuch pata nahi...par in kuch mahinon mein meine kuch realize kiya hai...jabse mein yahan ayi hun...tab toh mein hosh mein bhi nahi thi but the...the love and care which I got here ...was beyond anything ...wahi same feeling hote hai jab amma appa mere saath hua karte the...the love the care,the feeling of secureness...its the same feeling jo aaj tak in 5 saloon mein kabhi bhi nahi hui...phir jab mein hosh mein aayi ,jab mujhe woo saari baatein yad ayi...i realized everything had changed ...everthing but there was one thing which was constant,there was one person who was always there for me ..no matter what...and that was MANIK...and then I was in a fix ..ki what are these feelings...what are they?phir I realized that...

Navya was in tears by now as she was really happy as by now she had already got the hint that what her friend was trying to convey...she got up and stood infront of her holding her hand...

Navya- that...?(emotionally)

Nandini- that I have fallen for him...yes...I am in unconditionally and irrevocally in love with my best friend...with my herion,with my manik...(smiling in her tears)

And both the friends hug eachother...tightly in tears...

Navya- I am sooo happy for you...finally tujhe realize toh hua ki tu bhai se pyaar karte hai...

Nandini instantly broke the hug and looked at her surprised...

Navya- humein pehele se pata tha ki tu bhai se pyaar karti hai leekin you haven't realized it...arre budhu humein college days se hi pata tha..par tu..tujhe aaj jaakar akal ayi...pagal...

Nandini- navya...

And they started running in the room with nandini chasing navya after that both fell on the bed together laughing their heart out...

Nandini- par navu...ek problem hai...

Navya- ab kya problem hai...

Nandini- wo mein manik ko bataungi kaise...i..i don't..

Navya-(getting up)buss itni baat ...no fear when naya dhawan is here...

Nandini- uff ab tub hi bilkul bhaiyu jaise baat karne lagi hai...sangat ka assar I tell u...

Navya- hand wo toh hai...par tu wo sab chod na...achha I have an idea ...why don't you confess today only ...yess...today is the day ..aaj bhai ko itna bada award milraha hai..so this will be the best gift for him...

Nandini- aaj..?

Navya- ya aaj...in the award function sab ke samne...

Nandini- par kaise ...?

Navya- arre mere bholi gudiya..tu bhul rahi hai ki tere pass kya hai...

Nandini- kya hai..?(confused)

Navya-music!!! music mere jaan(in excitement)

Nandini- music(her eyes twinkle for a moment then again they become sad)par navu uss incident ke baad se I ...I have never sang ...and that to I think I have lost my music...

Navya-(her eyes becomes soft)nandini...music kabhi lost nahi ho sakta...aur tere case mein toh bilkul bhi nahi...musicis in yur soul...its in your every heart beat...and tujhe buss usse wapas zinda karne ka zariya dhundna hoga...wo zariya jiske liye tujhe aapne feelings express karne ka man kare...aur mere khayal se that reason is bhai ...tu unke liye ga...koshish toh kar ...phir dehk kaise there feeling ,tere emotions sab music ke form mein express hone lagte hain...you don't trust yourself its fine..but try to trust on the trust that bhai has on you...phir nothing will be able to stop you...

Finally nandini smiles...

Nandini- ok ...par you will help me haina...

Navya- ofcourse I will...and aaj mein aur geet didi khud tujhe taiyar karenge...

Nandini- acha toh mein ...meiin aaj apne dil ki baat manik se kahungi sab ke samne apne own composed song ke through...

Navya- yeh hui na baat...de tali..

Nandini gives her a high fi and both laugh...

In the evening

Nandini-(hell nervous) come on nandni you can do this ...breath in breath out...breath in breath out...

Navya-oho...kyun itna tension le rahi hai...sab achha hi hoga...

Nandini-navu mein theek toh lag rahi hun na...

Checking herself for nth time in the mirror...when geet enters...

Geet- kisne kaha..ki mere gudya...buri lagrahi hai...(making her turn around toward herself)mere pari aaj bahut khubsurat lag rahi hai...kisi ki nazar na lage...(putting a kajal tika from her eyes behind her ear)

Nandini attire-

Geet-(giving nandini a box)nandu...yeh kangan aur yeh set mejhe mere maa ne diye the...aur mein chahati hun ki aaj tum yeh peheno..

Nandini- par di mein kaise...

Geet- plz..mana mat karna...mein chati hun ki mere chote behen ye pehene uss nate...plz..

Nandini smiles...

In the living area

Manik is waiting for nandini...he was about to call her...

Maniks attire-

Manik-(turns around)nan...

Stops...he freezes at his place...as nandini is standing..a little nervous...

Manik-beautiful...(like a wishper)

Cabir comes from behind and putting a hand on his shoulder...

Cabir- sale muh toh bandd karle...warna makhi gus jayegi...

As always joking and fooling around...

Nandini comes down and stands infront of manik but manik is still lost in her...

Nandini- manik...(softly bringing him out of his trance)

Manik- han..ummmuhmm...(clearing his throat)...

Cabir-I think mujhe yahan se ab jana chahiye...

And leaves with a naughty smile...

Nandini is still nervous...while manik is having a hard time handling his emotions as well as controlling him self...

Manik- you...i..i mean...you ..you look...hot...

Nandini looks at him surprised...and blushes a little...

Nandini-umm...tha...thanx...

Manik putting his hand forward for her to hold...

Manik- sooo...shall we...?

Nandini smiles and holds his hand...

Manik entwines their fingers and they leave for the party...

At the party

The arrangements were grand...and why not after all it was the years largest function that is the best buissness man of the year ...the sitting area was beautifully decorated in the most classy way possible and for the guest of honour this year that is manik a special VIP table was set up...which was specially reserved for the guest of honor...the table was set up beautifully with white orchids in the middle as instructed by manik as he had strictl informed before coming that no other flower will be placed on their table as orchids were nandinis favourite flowers...

The stage was also set up up to the mark...

and there was a little time left for the award function to start...as they were all waiting for the guest of honor...all the buissness men from all over the country had come to attend this function...and most importantly to meet the youngest buissness man of the year...

just then manan arrive in a black Mercedes sedan class car...

Car-

And the media go mad and wild just to get a glimpse of him he gets down from the car and the bodyguards surround him while there are continouse flashes of cameras...after coming out manik extends his hand for nandini and she holds his hand...and very gentelly helps her to comeout...she comes out and the media goes more wild and the flashes increase as it's the first time that manik malhotra the manik malhotra has brought a girl with his that to to such an important event..so definitely she must be some one very special to him... nandini becomes more nervous watching all this media and cameras etc...senseing her uneasiness manik slids his hand on her waist making her look at him and he blinks in assurance... pulling her closer to him...they enter the auditorium while bodyguard surround them...

As soon as they enter the spotlight was on them...everyone was congratulating manik but all this time manik did not leave nandinis hand not even for a second...he introduced her to everyone...everybody were were happy meeting them and especially a sweet natured girl like nandini...except one person and her girl gang...and that was none other than soha...as till now she was the cemter of attention but now nandini has become everybodies akhoon ka tara and that to she was with "her"manik according to her and ofcourse if she is feeling this way then why not her chamchiyan...

Soon the function got started and maniks name was announced and he went to receive his award on the stage...

Manik-thank you...aaj mein jo kuch bhi hun sirf aur sirf mere bhai mr.maan sigh kurana aur mere maa saman di...mere bhabi...mrs.geet maan singh khurana ki wajhese hun...mere bhai ,unhe se mene buissness sikha...agar wo mujhe guide na karte toh shayad aaj mein yaahan aap sab ke samne na khada hota...he is more than a father to me...aur mere di...unka motherly care aur support na hota toh shayad dad ke jane ke baad mein khudko samet hi nahi pata...(his eyes become teary)...insab chezzon ke ilawaa there is one more person whom I would like to give credit tomy integral part of my life, my best friend...MISS.NANDINI MOORTHY...MY LADY LUCK...

And hearing this all of a sudden nandini is shocked at her place...and soha oviously jalan ke mare has already turned into half poha...

Manik- yes...you heard it right ...nandini...she is the reason behind my success...infact she is my inspiration...she thought me to stay strong...to fight against all the odds...she is the most strongest yet gentle woman I have ever met...infact she is my strength...

Nandini was in tears smiling to her fullest...manik directly looking at her ...

Manik- thank you nandu...thank you very much for always being my strength,for always being my support system ...and most importantly...thank you for always being there and watching my back...

Soon the auditorim was occupied with loud clapping sound ...

Manik came back to his place ...and nandini gave him her sweetest smile...

Nandini provo-

Its time manik...be ready...

Manik asks her gesturing what and she nods in a no still smiling...

Soon the party also starts ...and people are busy eating talking while nandini makes an excuse of washroom...manik offers her to show her the way but she says she will manage and instead of going to the washroom goes to the backstage...and after requesting the backstage incharge she is all set for her izhaar...

Nandini provo-

Come on nandu...u can do this...aaj se achha mauka tujhe phir kabhi nahi milega...its just manik...you can do this...just think about him...

Suddenly the lights go of...everybody starts to ask what happened and all...and manik starts to panic as nandinis was not back yet but befor he could do anything the spotlight goes on and directly falls on a girl standing on the middle of the stage...and manik sees she is none other than nandini herself...manik become s a little surprised unknown of the fact that today his life is going to change completely...he going to get the best gift of his life that is his nandini...

Nandini- kehete hain ...jab tak hum kisi ke humdard nahi bante dard hmse,aurhum dard se juda nahi hote...aisa hi koi hai meri zindagi mein jiske aane se mere sari takleefein,sare dard dur ho gaye...usne mere asuoon ko bhi amrit samajhkar peeya...har ek ache bure phase mein mera saath diya...jab se usse jana hai...dill ko zubaan,akhon ko sapne mil gaye hain...usski aashique mein meri zindagi ko naye maine mil gaye hain...mein budhhu usse humesha apna dost samajhti rahi kabhi samajh hi nahi payi ki kyun usse alag hone se dil mein dard hone lagta hai,kyun usse judai nahi sahi jate mujhse,kyun usske ankhoon mein aansu dekhte hi mere ankhein bhi bhar ati hain,kyun usse udas nahi dekh pati mein,kyun usske dard mein dekh kar mere ruh kaanp uthti hai,usse cot lagti hai toh mujhe kyun dard mehesus hota hai...7 saal baad ...aaj...aaj jakar mujhe in sawalon ke jawab mile hain...(turns around facing the audience...)

Manik was looking at her with teary eyes...as he has already sensed wath was coming next...

Nandini - aaj mein apne usse dil ki baat ko sab ke samne bayan karna chahungi...(taking a deep breath she starts)

First with lowerd lashes ...looking down holding the mike tightly in her fist

Manik was so emotional that he was speechless ...befor he could gather himself to speak up everybody gave a big round of applause and a standing ovation to this new sweet ,cute couple...everybody was happy except soha "the poha" who was burning with anger and jealousy...
