Chapter 20-

Nandini kept crying...and manik hugged her more tightly hiding her completely in his chest...drowning in her pain...absorbing her pain which she was realeasing...after soo long...sooo long...the grief...the pain of loosing your dignity ...your sanity is the worst pain for a girl...worst than the pain of being betrayed...for a girl her self respect her sanity is the most important thing...and if it is tampered then id not only wounds her heart but also leaves a deep imprint on her soul which never gets washed away...though with time it fades away but still she has the scars with her forever...the person who do all this to a girl donot even think that once he was also born from a girl in form of a mother...but instead of rectifying their mistakes this thing keeps growing in our society... manik didn't for once tried to stop her from crying instead he gave her full freedom to cry on his shoulder ...to release all her pains and share her worries with him...she cried cried her heart out and why wont she she has suffered so much and not for once got a cance to cry her heart out and release all her sorrows...she did not get a shoulder to cry on when she needed it the most and now finally all the lines of patien have finally broken and at the end she couldnot hold anymore and cried...untill all her tears dried up...manik just kept hugging her rubbing her back lovingly letting her cry hiding her face in his chest...

Meanwhile...

In the study room geet maan cabir and navya are in a serious mood all tesnsed up...cabir told each and everything that happened to maa...

Cabir-tuh yeh sab hua tha bhai...and wo car wala banda bhi bachke nikal gaya...

Maan was quite for some time not able to hide his silence geet asked him worriedly...

Geet- maan...aap kya soch rahe hain...

Maan-soch raha hun ki koi gudiya ko kyun marna chahega...jarur kuch bahut badi baat hai...cabir ...mansion ki security badho mein commissioner se baat karta hun gudiya ki security ke liye...aaj jo hua...uske baad we cant take any risk...

Navya- aap theek bol rahe hain bhai...aap chinta na karein...aaj se mein humesha har waqt nandu ke saath rahungi...

Geet- ji maan aur navya ki absence mein mein nandini ke saath rahungi...don't worry...mein clinic ka kam guest house mein shift kar dungi taki mein ghar pe 27X7 available rehe paun...

IN MANEETS ROOM-

Manik was still hugging nandini tightly stroking her hair now she was getting a little calmed...

Manik- ro liya...ab achha lagraha hai...(lovingly)

Nandini broke the hug and looked at him and nodded cutely...

Manik-(smiled)gud...bus...ab aur tujhe rone nahi dunga samjhe...(wiping her tears)dekh ro ro ke kya hal bana liya hai aapna tune...khud bhi rote hai aur mujhe bhi rulate hai...(cupping her face in his palm)

Nandini held her hand with which he was cupping her face gazing at him lovingly...as soon as she held his hand he hissed in pain this made nandini alert...

Nandini-kya hua...(worried)

Manik pulled his hand behind his back hiding her wounds which he got during the fire wala drama...

Manik-.ku..kuch nahi..nandu...

Nandini- kya kuch nahi...dikhao mujhe tum kya chupa rahe ho...(trying to look at his hand)

Manik- arre nandu kuch nahi hai..baba..bus ..yun hi..

Nandini- manik mujhe abhi ke abhi dikhao tume mere kasam...

Now manik had no way out as she had given him her kasam and manik will never break it under any circumstances...he sighed and brought out his hand infront of nandini...the moment she saw his wounds nandini freaked out...

Nandini- ma..manik...yeh..yeh kaise...oh god kitna jal gaya hai...(crying)mere wajhese...tum hur...

Before she could complete manik sushed her by putting his finger on her lips...

Manik- nandini...aaj boldiya phir kabhi mat bola...tumhari wajhese mujhe kabhi kuch bura nahi hosakta...samjhe...never ever blame yourself for the things which happen to me...u can never be wrong atleast not for me...ok...

Nandini was again in tears...

Nandini- mein first aid kit late hun...

She brought the kit from the draw and started dressing his wound...

Manik hissed in pain...nandini became more worried...

Nandini- bahut dard ho raha hai...(like a baby blowing air on the wound)

Manik smiles looking at her love and care for him...

Manik- pehele ho raha tha...par ab nahi horaha...

Nandini looks up at him...

Manik- tu hai na...tujhe dekhte he mere saare zakham bhargaye...

And tears welled up in her eyes and as they threaten to fall manik stops them wiping the corner of her eyes...

Manik- bus...ab bahut hua...aur nai royege tu samjhe...pehele he tu chidiya dana chugne jaise khate pete hai upar se ro ro ke body ka bacha kucha pani bhi khatam karchuki hai ...aur nahi...chal ab raat bahut ho chuke hai ab tu soja...made her lie down and pulled the blanket on her...and got up when she held his hand...

Nandini- ab tum kahan ja rahe ho...

Manik- buss bhai se baat karne...

Nandini- nahi...you..you are not going any where meko nahi pata tu baith yahan mere pass bus..varna mujhe neend nahi ayegi...and pulled him to sit...

Manik- arre nandu par... before he could complete nandini pushed the pillow aside and kept her head on maniks lap...

Nandini- ab theek hai...(cutely like a baby)

Manik smiled at her babyness...and started stroking her hair gently...

in sleep nandini holds maniks other hand tightly ...manik stroked her hair and bends down and gentely pecks on her forehead...while nandini sleeps like a baby...

nandini smiles in sleep feeling his touch...and snuggles more...

Manik keeps gazing at her baby face while the loose hair strands keep coming on her face and she makes a disturbed face in sleep..so manik gentlely removes those strands with his fingers...and again her expression comes back to normal...

after nandini drowns in deep slumber...finally with a visible satisfaction on her face manik gentely loosens her grip from his hand and placing her genteelly on the pillow,adjusting the blanket on her he leaves the room and as he comes out he sees two guards standing at their the bedroom door...then he sees cabir instructing servants about the new security settings for nandini and he also sees commissionr talking to maan and an inspector ordering the police men where to take positions outside the mansion...watching him geet comes to him and says...

geet- maan aap jayeye neeche tab tak mein nandini ke saath upar rukti hun...manik nodes and goes to maan...and the commissioner greets him...

Commissioner- gud morning mr.malhotra...

Manik- gud morning...(as it was 3:00 am in the morning)bhai ye sab...

Maan- mein bata hun.,...

And tell him about every thing how they almost caught the culprit but the real culprit killed him...and manik was shocked to core...'

Manik-(hell angry)mr.commissioner...make sure ki ab aisa kuch dubara na hopaye...

Commissioner-don't worry mr. malhotra..now everything is under control...aap befikra rahiye...

On the other side...

Mystry person - hmmm.so ab yeh sab hand...theek hai yeh bhi kar le...lekin isska koi faida nahi...ha ha ha ha ha...lagta hai aab mujhe maidan mein utarna hi padega...
