Chapter 23 C

I was standing in front of the ICU. I look inside through the round mirror and tried to held something but everything was getting blur..! I was feeling dizzy as I saw my man lying on the hospital bed. With loads of wires and drips attached to his body..! I know I have to be strong but what to do my strength was lying almost lifeless then how come someone expect me to get stronger..! The tears in my eyes were breaking records moreover my vision again blurred and I was about to fall when Cabir bhai came forward to hold me..!

"Nandu! Please eat something your sugar level!"He spoke gathering me in his arms...

"Bhai"I whispered meakly...

"Ji behna bolo na!" His brother love was beyond imagination...

"Main mar jaoan ge! Manik ko bolo na theek ho jayen?"I whispered again and felt his grip became more tighten around me..! Suddenly i broke the hug with a jerk..!

"Tiger Bhai kahan hain?" I asked looking here and there then at Bhai's face..! His face was lowered again! Enough for me to stuck my breath in my throat! When suddenly I heard Bhai's voice..! And turned only to brim tears in my eyes as he was also wounded..

Writer's POV..

Tiger woke up fluttering his eyelids. He look here and there to register everything then suddenly he got up with a jerk..!

"Tiger..! Lie down..!"He heard Mukti's voice and he look at her..!

"Mukti..! Nandini..!"The only hour of need was to get Nandini..! To console her..! To tell her..! And ask for forgiveness..!

"Tiger..! Lie down na please..!"She pleaded but he shoved her away..

"Ni..! Nandini must be crying..! I have to console her...! You don't know her Mutki wo bachoon ki trha ro rahi ho ge..!"He said getting down of the hospital bed and inspite of the protest he came out of the ward..! His arm was paining but he had to get Nandini..! He reached ICU and saw Nandini..! Her vulnerable state was scaring him..!

"Nandini..!"He called her and she look at him. Suddenly the tear intensity increased in her eyes and she came running to him like a maniac..

"Bhai..! Ya-Ap-Manik...!"She stammered and Tiger cupped her cheeks..

"Bus..! Am ok..! And Manik will be ok..!"He assured her and she burst out in tears like a kid while Tiger gathered her in his arms..!

Oh Sajna!

Tery Nairy Wasnaaa..!

Main Jeena!

"Manik..! Manik..! Un ko bacha lain na bhai..!"She wailed like a baby who was asking her father to get him her favorite toy..! While fab3 and MukLya were looking at them helplessly trying to be strong..! Tiger patiently held her more close and kissed her hair..

"He will be ok..! Shh..! Come let's sit..!"He made her sit on the bench and she sat with him hiding herself in him completely..

"Main mar rahi hoon bhai..! Wo mery sab kuch hain bhai..! My owner..! My lover..! Sab kuch..! Nahi reh sakti main un ki binaa..!"She shouted digging her nails in his flesh..

"Kuch nahi ho ga Manik ko..! He is so strong..! I know he will come back for you..!"Tiger spoke rubbing her back as she shivered like a snow victim..

Chapter 23 D

Tery bin main Key Karaan hun Kalyaan ni jeena..

Dil lagda ni mera Key karaan!

"Bhai?"She spoke after a long pause..

"Ji?"He immediately replied..

"Ap ko pta hai..!"She said like a baby and look at him..

"What?"He said nodding his head..

"Manik na..! He loves me so much..! Wo bolty hain kay whenever I smile for him na he felt like stars twinkling around! Should I smile?"She spoke vividly and Tiger held his tears back..

"You should be smiling bacha as Manik hates your tears..!"He said lovingly and wiped her tears with that he pecked her forehead..

"But I have a question?"She said..

"What?"Tiger said caressing her hair.

"I tou always smile for him..! Ab wo hain he ni tou how will I smile?"Her mental condition was forcing her to speak like this while Tiger again hugged her tightly...

"He will come back..! You only said na that he is your superhero..! He will come back..!"Tiger himself didn't knew that he was calming her down or was assuring himself...! Suddenly the doctor came! Tiger immediately got up holding Nandini while others too came running towards them..

"How's Manik? Wo theek hain na?"Nandini asked in a trembling voice...

"We have operated him..! The bullets he had in his body we have taken them out but the most important thing is! He has to gain his conscious in next 12 hours! Or else he will be in comma or maybe dead..!"Doctor spoke and before any of could react Nandini grabbed Doctor's collars leaving everyone shocked..

"Kuch nahi ho ga Manik ko smjhy tum..! Kuch nhi..!"She shouted like a hungry lioness and Doctor gulped the lump..

"Nandu..! Leave him..!"Tiger freed Doctor from Nandini and Doctor run away..

"Calm down..!"Tiger said as he made her sit on the bench with that he knelt in front of her holding her hands...

"Kya calm down? Ap ny dekha kya bakwas kar raha tha wo doctor! Mery Manik ko kuch nahi ho ga..! Kuch bhi nahi..!"She was adamant on her place...!

Nandini was feeling like losing everything with each tick tick of clock! It's been 18 hours since her Manik had talked to her!

What will she do? Aiyapaa! You are not doing justice! Don't snatch my love! The only reason of My Life! The only person who was my lifeline! While Tiger was sitting holding her close to him! Her grip around Tiger's waist was so tight!

"Wapas aa jao na please..!"She pleaded again in her mind..

Chapter 23 E

"Mr.Malhotra you are awake?"I heard an exclamation I didn't had the energy to look around and find the source of that voice..! The only thing I needed that time was my girl..!

"Please..! Ca-call my wi-wife..! I ne-need her..!"I stammered as the pain was unbearable..!

"Mrs.Nandini Manik Malhotra..!"She spoke nodding her head..! "I will call her and the doctor..! You wait..!"She said and I saw her disappearing in the door..! I waited for her! I was dying for her single glimpse..! I wanted to wipe her tears away! I wanted to tell her that am ok..! Suddenly the door banged open and she came in running! After seeing her condition I gasped! The dark circles around her eyes were more prominent! Lips dried..! Pale complexion! My one arm was damaged wrapped in bandages and other was free! So with free one I gestured her to come to me!

"Manik..!"She shouted and came running to me..!

Nandini's POV..

Nurse told me He was awake! He was calling me to come to his arms! How much I wanted this! How much I wanted to be in his arms..!

"Manik..!"I shouted and went running to him..! I crashed in his chest and cried like never before! His one arm was wrapped around me and he was patting my head..!

"Mjy lag-laga..! I thou-thought!"I tried to convey my feelings but he shushed me..

"Bus..! Kuch nahi bolo..! Relax..! See am ok..!"I heard his whisper in my ear and I nuzzled in his neck..! My home! My solace..! "Tum ny khana khaya? Look what have you done to yourself! You are looking so pale..! Roi q? Itny dark circles ho gye hain..!"He was scolding me..! Like seriously he just came from fighting with death! And still he was worried about me! This forced me to cry more and more!

"Main mar jati Manik..! Ap ko pta hai mai-main--!"I tried to speak again but he again shushed me..!

"Bola na myny! Shhh! Just relax..!"He whispered again and I sighed..!

"Ziada dard tou ni ho raha na? Should I call the doctor? Aur ap ki medicines! Wo bhi..! Everyone is worried for you..!"I asked breaking the hug and wiped my tears..! As I need to be strong..! At least I have to act like one but still my voice was trembling like anything! I was shivering and look at him..! He was staring at me..!

"Jab pretend karna nahi ata tou koshish bhi q karti ho?"He spoke holding my hand and that was enough for me to burst out in tears again! And hide in his arms..

"Don't you ever dare to do this to me again..! Never ever! Don't do this..!"I hiccuped my words and felt his lips pressing on my head...

"I won't I promise! I promise please don't cry! Please..! Your tears hurt me more than these wounds please baby..!"He spoke lovingly and I sniffed in his chest..! Suddenly we were forced to broke apart as all others came in..! I got up but didn't left his hands..! Everyone was asking his well being even doctor came and checked him..!

"Ap sab ghar jaoa I will take care of him..!"I asked to everyone but no one was ready to leave..

"Mukti take tiger with you..! He needs rest..!"Manik spoke staring at Bhai's face there was something which I didn't knew as Bhai was sitting with head low..

"No I won't go..!"Bhai spoke and Manik cringed his eyebrows..

"Get lost..! And take rest..!"Suddenly Manik yelled and all got scared! Even I look at Manik with a shock..! One by one all left except Jack and Cabir Bhai..! They were adamant on their place that they won't leave in spite of Manik's scolding..! They both sat on the couch near Manik's bed and I stood beside Manik as Nurse came with soup and medicines..! Suddenly a thought hit my mind and before Manik could eat..

"I will taste it first..!"I spoke and trio look at me shocked...

Manik's POV..

She said that she will taste the soup first..

"What happened Nandu?"Jack spoke..

"Haan? Kya hua?"Cabir too said worriedly and Nandini shook her head..

"Mr.Raj Malhotra can do anything..!"She said staring at the soup bowl and herself sipped some from the spoon..! The tiny girl! She was really something! After being satisfied with the taste and purity of the soup she started feeding me! I was talking to Jack and Cabir while she was feeding me slowly..! Though I was talking to them but I was aware she was shoving her tears away..! She was controlling herself with so much of difficulty! How will I assure her about my health..!? I was ok..! Her tears were hurting me! After eating soup and medicine she was about to walk away when I held her hand..

"Boys you don't mind na if me and Nandini share this bed in front of you both?"I said looking at them while Nandini stared at me..!

"Of course not! Unless you won't do anything like 'that'..!"Jack was an ass! I pulled Nandini beside me and without protest she laid down..! Maybe she was too much tired to protest..! I held her close and she snuggled in me..! She rested her head on my chest and I gently traced her hair with my free hand..! Her tiny palm was fisted over the fabric of my shirt and her silent tears were wetting my shirt..! She was still crying..! I covered her with the blanket so that she won't catch the cold! Buddies started talking again and I listened to them..! After few minutes I noticed her even breath! She was asleep..!

"So gai?"Jack whispered as they both got up..

"Yeah..! She is scared dar gai hai bohat..!"I whispered back staring her face. Chubby cheeks with trails of dried tears were kiling me..ce

"Manik..! Get well soon..! We have loads to sort out with your Dad..!"Cabir said softly and I nodded..!

"Yeah..! He won't keep quiet..!"Jack said caressing Nandini's hair..! He bent down and whispered in her ear his words made me smile..! "Be strong my Jungli billi..! Tu rooty main bilkul chudail lagti hai..!"Cabir smacked his shoulder and he backed off smiling a little. Cabir to pecked her forehead and suddenly..

"Ma-manik..! Man-manik please don't leave me..!"She was again in a bad dream..! Cabir and Jack waved me a silent bye with that they walked out!

"Bus bus..! Am here..!"I whispered again kissing her eyes and she opened them immediately..!

"Ap yahen ho na..?"She murmured vividly..

"Yahen hoon tumhry pass..! Sleep..! Bad night is over..!"I said lovingly and she snuggled in me more..

"For once I thought I won't be able to be in your warmth again..!"She spoke half sleeping and vaguely..

"You are in my warmth and you are never losing it again..! I will make sure of it...!"I said staring at her face and closed her eyes again with my palm..! She was fast asleep in next moment..! I had many things to do! I have to bring Tiger from the guilt with which he was suffering! And most of all! I have to sort out with DAD! I picked up my cell phone from the side table which Max had placed there and texted someone! Just wait and watch DAD! Because of you my Nandini has suffered! Now let's see what is more powerful! My love for my Wife or your Hatred towards Mom! Pecking her forehead one last time I too drifted to sleep! Determine to take revenge!

Express what you felt!!

Loads of things are coming! Most of them are happy! Sadness and happiness both are part of life! It depends on us how we face it! Either with courage or with cowardness...! Anyways! Tomorrow is my semester result! Please please please pray for me am really scared! Your prayers really give me strength! I just hope myny ziada rulaya nahi? And I was good in presenting the turmoil of MaNan..! I will cover all the loopholes! And the most important thing! Jis ko wo heaven wala scene smj me ni aya na pm me! Me smjhaoan ge! But mjy kise ki cribbing ni chye behind my back that you didn't get that scene! It's a part of fiction you have to understand it! Anyways! Love you all!
