Chapter 23 A

Night Before Concert!

After a long practice session and bidding goodbye to everyone Tiger drove back to his flat. He was damn tired and just wanted to crash on the bed. He unlocked his flat door and was startled as he saw Mr.Malhotra sitting on his lounge couch..

"Will you do the honors of telling me what the hell are you doing here?"He shouted immediately and Mr.Malhotra stood up calmly..

"Of course! Stop your friend! Ask him not to disobey me!"Mr.Malhotra was stuck on his point..

"Shut up and get lost..!"He shouted and Mr.Malhotra shook his head..

"Shaaant..! Because this anger of yours will lead you to the worst!"His calmness was commendable..

"What will you do haan? You will try to harm my buddy again? Aray aur kar bhi kya sakty hain ap! Thookta hoon main ap pay! You are not less than my father!"Tiger said coldly..

"No! This time! Not Manik..! But you all..! And his s**tty wife!"Mr.Malhotra spoke and that was it for Tiger he grabbed Mr.Malhotra's collars and punched him so hard that he fell on the floor..

"Don't you dare to speak a single word against Nandini..! Ap ki larai fab 5 say hai na! Be with it! Keep Nandini away from all this! Get out of my house is say pehly kay main aur ziada manners bhool kar ap ko maar doon..!"Tiger's eyes were spitting anger! He could tolerate anything but not his sister's insult! Mr.Malhotra got up and spit on the floor..! His saliva had blood...

"You have to pay for this! You have to..!"Mr.Malhotra finally shouted and Tiger look away..

"OUTTT!"He spoke coldly and Mr.Malhotra stormed out..! As soon as he left the apartment Tiger fell on the couch hell stressed!

Concert Night!

Manik's POV..

"Hey guys!"I exclaimed as soon as I reached the venue..

"You are late..!"Jack roared and run behind me to beat me with his guitar I laughingly run forward with that I hide behind Tiger and Cabir..

"Bus karo tum dono..!"Tiger said showing us his eyes and we laughed more..

"Chill na buddy..! Everything is ok now! Oky guys..! We are gonna rock the stage today!"I shouted happily...

"Yeah..! Come on guys! All for one and one for all..!"Jack and Max too joined me..

"Stop it..!"Tiger too shouted and we all look at him confused..

"What happened? Tu preshan q hai?"Cabir asked him and we all nodded..

"Nothing..! It's just guys! Umm! Please stay close..! Mjy kuch positive vibes nahi aa rahy!"He said softly and we all look at each other. Then with in seconds we engulfed Tiger in a group hug!

"Everything will be ok..! Kuch nahi ho ga..!"I assured him with a whisper..

"Finally..! We did it!"We all were shouting happily after cracking the concert! Walking on a stranded road..! Booze bottles in our hands..!

"You know what..! Fab 5 is the best..!"Cabir shouted and we all laughed..

"Yeah..! Of course..! East and west..!"Max spoke..

"Fab 5 is the best..!"We shouted together and laughed again..

"Seriously after so so long am so happy..! And we all are enjoying like this!"Cabir said softly and sat on the footpath..! While me, Max and Jack too sat beside him..!

"Guys! Yahan nahi bethty! Look its not safe!"Tiger said worriedly looking here and there..

"Chood na yaar..! Kuch nahi ho ga..!"I said pulling his hand trying to made him sit beside me..

"Nahi..! Tu uth dafa ho Nandini kay pass ghar ja..! She must be worried for you..!"He said pulling me up...

"A little more time please!"I pleaded and he shook his head..

"No no..! Get up..!"He said again and I look at other three..! Their faces were also sad..! "And you three! Jaldi! Get up..! Jack go and take care Mukti! Aur Max tu! Alya k pass ja..! Don't leave the girls alone! Cabir tu Manik ko ghar chood..! I will go myself..!"He was ordering us like a father and we all made bad faces..

"Dekh bhai..! Hamari protection is not your job! Tu tension q lay raha hai?"I said holding his shoulder he was worried more than my expectation..

"It is my job..! Tjy kuch hua tou meri behan mar jaye ge..! Main tum me say kise ko bhi lose karna afford nahi kar sakta..!"He spoke cupping my cheeks and I sighed..! While other three were smiling...

"Nothing bad will happen..! And---!"I was unable to complete my next sentence as I saw a man aiming at Tiger! He was facing Tiger's back..! I immediately turned him and BOOOM! He fired! I felt like iron metal entering my body as I fell on the floor two back to back bullets pierced in my body..! It all happened in just few seconds that all were unable to figure out..! I was hearing my buddy's shouts..! They were calling me! But the only face roaming in my mind was my girl! Her precious smile! She will cry! I don't want to die! Nandini kay Aiyapaa usy sambhaal laina! Main bohat pyaar karta hoon us say! I heard all of them shouting for Tiger now! Maybe he too was shoot! Aiyapaa! Tiger ko kuch na ho or else Nandini will cry more! I can't see her in tears..! Random thoughts! Vague notions!

"Manik..! Man-manik..!"I heard Tiger's voice he held me close to his chest..!

"Me-meri Nan-nandini ka kha-khayal rakhna..!"I stammered as the spasms of pain went through my body..

"Kuch nahi ho ga tjy..! Tu bilkul theek ho jye ga..!"I was hearing their incoherent blabbering and I slipped into darkness! I saved my buddy!

Chapter 23 B

Writer's POV..

"We have to shift Mr.Malhotra in ICU!"Doctor spoke in a hurry and male nurses dragged Manik's hospital stretcher away..

"Doctor! Manik the-theek tou ho jaye ga na?"Tiger asked stammering between his tears..

"We will try our best!"Doctor shouted and run towards the ICU...!

"Nan-Nandini..! What will we tell her and how?"Tiger spoke hell horrified..

"Wo sab baad me! First you need dressing! Though kay gooli choo kay guzri hai! But phir bhi! You need to be treated!"Max said touching his wound! As Tiger had tried to catch the killer and in that struggle he got shot but luckily it went pass touching his arm but the cut was very deep and all his shirt was smeared in blood..!

"No..! Nandini..! Main kya boloon ga usy? When she will ask about her happiness? Her Manik? What will I say to her?"Tiger was not in his senses he was losing it...

"Tiger..! Relax..!"Cabir tried to calm him down but he shook his head..! His head was spinning due to loss of blood!

"He will gain his conscious soon..!"Doctor spoke as he treated Tiger's wound and fab 3 nodded. Tiger was lying on the bed..! Fab 3 came out and let him take rest. Manik's condition was still not stable Doctors were operating him..!

"Question is who will tell Nandini?"Cabir spoke staring at Max and Jack's face..

"I don't have that strength!"Max backed out..

"I will tell her! Cabir tu chal..!"Jack said in a determined tone and both walked out of the hospital. Gathering the courage to tell their little sister that her brother and her husband were hospitalized they drove to Malhotra Mansion!

Nandini's POV..

I asked about his room number and stormed towards his room.I barged in without bothering to knock. How dare he to snatch my Manik from me! I will kill him. As soon as I entered I saw Mr.Malhotra sitting on the couch working on his laptop which was placed on the table in front of him. I rushed to him and with one sudden pull I threw his laptop away which shattered in pieces..!

"Aaa Pagal Larki!"Mr.Malhotra shouted at me and I stood in front of him...

"Mr.Malhotra! Ya pagal larki ap k us bety ki patni hai jo is wakt ICU me hai! Why you did this?? Why? The only asset of my life..! The only person who is my mine? The person who gave me shelter, love and peace! You shot him!!"I shouted in extreme pain and held Mr.Malhotra's collars but his expressions were coldest!

"Get out!"He spoke coldly and freed his collars with a jerk..

"Chali jaoan ge! Mjy bhi ap say baat karny ka koi shoook nahi hai..!"I yelled looking in his eyes. "Main yahan ap ko sirf ya btany I hoon kay agr mery Manik ko kuch bhi hua na! Tou mjy un ki kasam main ap kay sath wo karoon ge jis ka ap ny socha bhi nahi ho ga!"I shouted and shouted...!

"Kya karo ge tum haan? Tum choti okaat ki larki! Kar bhi kya sakti ho?"Mr.Malhotra shouted..! "Agr mera beta tmhry naam k sath say apna naaam hata lay na tou koi ookat nahi tmhri!"Mr.Malhotra spoke and I held back my tears. This man was trying to snatch the only thing from me which I had..!

"Sorry to pop your bubble Mr.Malhotra!"Suddenly I heard Jack's voice. I turned to saw Cabir bhai and Jack standing in the door..! They must have had followed me! Mr.Malhotra stared at them and they both stood on my either sides..! They both entwined their hands with mine! "Aray look kya day rhy hain ap? She is Neha Khuranna! The daughter of Mohit Khuranna! Agr yakken nahi aa rhaa tou DNA test karwa lain once Khuranna uncle will come back from London! Anyways! Aik baari Manik theek ho jaye! We will arrange a press conference against you..! Ap ki izzat kay tukry na kar diya tou Jack Paul naam nahi mera..!"Jack's attitude was superb..

"And yes..! We are not like you..! Jo bhi karen gay na samny karen gay..! Ap ki traha chup kar waar nahi karen gay..!"Cabir Bhai spoke and Jack nodded..

"I don't care..! Get lost..!"Mr.Malhotra shouted..

"Ap ooncha bool kar hamain abhi chup tou kara sakty hain..! Laikin aik baat meri kaan khool kar sun lain..! Mery Manik ko kuch nahi ho ga..! Aur ap ko main btaoan ge kay ik aurat ki takat kya hoti hai..!"I spoke my last words and we all three turned to leave..! As soon as I stepped out of the hotel all the courage and ego I had mustered up suddenly flew away with that I stumbled badly..

"Nandu..! Sambhal kay..!"Jack spoke holding me from my shoulders..

"Manik..!"I whispered his name..

"Let's go! We will take you to him..!"Cabir bhai said patting my head and I held my tears back..
