<font size="5">Nandini was sleeping peacefully on the bead. Manik was on the couch and was unable to sleep. Today is the day when they have got married. Today is their first night together. The 2 have got married against their wishes. They were gud friends since college but they never had this feeling called LOVE for each other. Manik: I have never loved u Nandini nor will I ever be able to love u. My first and only love is aaliya. I can't love anyone except her. And even she loves me so much God knows how she will be able to digest this truth...

Chapter 1

The next day, nandini got up early in the morning. She sat on the bed. Her eyes fell on the person the couch. It was manik. A cute smile crept on her face on seeing him. But then she remembered last night. The night when they got married. The night that completely ruined her life. She was now Mrs nandini manik malhotra. Tears formed in her doe shaped eyes and roll down her chubby cheeks.

Nanndini's pov
why aiyappa why? Why did u do this to me? Why did u ruin my life why? How can I live with the man whom I don't even luv. Even he love Maya. Then why did u get us together? Why?
she wiped her tears and went to freshen up. When she came back she heard a knock o the door. She opened it and there was niyonika, her mother in law standing in front of her.

Nandini:: mom aap yahaa? What happened?

Niyonika: nothing dear I just came to wake u up. Last night was a very difficult one for u. U had to go through so much.. but now u r the daughter in law of the malhotras. Anyways leave it. U get ready and come down. Okay.

And she left. Nandini got ready. She wore a baby pink chudidar with little work on it. She kept her hairs open. She was about to step out of the room when h turned and looked at the man on the couch. Her feet unknowingly went closer to him . She looked at him and smiled. She settled the duvet on him and was about toleave when he caught her hand in half sleep.
"Maya! Don't go pls." He said in half sleep. Nandini again started crying on hearing this. She quickly rushed out of the room.

ON THE DINING TABLE:

Niyonika and namdini were seating together and manik and raj (maniks father) were sitting on the other side. Nome of them spoke a single word. Then niyonika broke the ice saying:

Manik, nandini! Are u 2 happy with this marriage?
This question left the two baffled. They didn't know what to say.

Nandini: mom you don't need to worry about us. We will be fine. We r married. We r now a couple. And if not today then some day we will have to accept each other. This is the truth.

Niyonika nodded her head. She felt proud of having such a sensible daughter in law.

After breakfast, raj left for office while manik left for the studio.

STUDIO

The fact that manik and nadini were now a couple was known to everyone. No one was happy with this. And aaliya was fuming.

Aaliya: how could u do this manik? Why did u marry that nandini? She is such a cheap girl. She is always after your money. She must be really happy that now she is the wife of the most handsome and wealthy man. She must be on the ninth sky. And u how could u do this . Why didd u ,arru her why?

Manik:: listen to me aaliya. I really didn't wanted to marry her. And trust me I haven't even touched her. Till now. U know na that I luv u and only u.

Aaliya: its enough manik. I this k u should start afresh with that gold digger nandini. And u should forget me.. I am going. Forever and ever. And I won't come back.

Saying this aaliya left. But she was not going to leave manan so easily.

Cabir: tu to gaya. Ab jhel us zindagi Bihar ki musibat ko.

Manik left angrily.

Chapter 2

Nandini was waiting for manik to come home. It was quite late. She was getting worried. After some time she heard the doorbell ring. She quickly went to open the door since everyone were asleep. It was manik. He seemed quite angry. Manik went to his room and sat on the bed running his forehead.

Nandini: kya hua hai manik? Way dyu look so tensed??

Manik: tumse matlab? Manik angrily retorted.

Nandini : you came home so late. So I was tensed. I thought maybe... but you tell me. What took u so long to come home??

Manik: dekho nandini, whatever I do its none of your business. You don't need to act too smart. And don't poke your nose in my matters. Get it?

Nandini with teary eyes: bit manik though we r married but we have not accepted each other. But can't we still be good friends??

Manik: oh! So you want me to be your friend huh! You're so mean nandini. Because of u my life has been totally ruined. Dyu know that aaliya has broken up with me. Just because of you. My life has been ruined just because of you. And you want me to be your friend? I never knew that u would be so mean. Aaliya has left me just because of u. You r the reason of my unhappiness nandini. U

Manik, said and lay n the bed leaving a crying nadini behind.

THE NEXT MORNING

Neither maanik nor nandini talked to each other. Namdini eyes were red and swollen. She had been crying all night. Manik's each word pierced her heart a zillion times. Both niyonika and raj notice it bit none said a single word Cruz they knew that the two need some time.

CHAPTER 3::

2 Months passed with neither mannik talking to nandini nor namdini talking to manik. Their lives were so complicated.

... ...

Nandini was sitting on the bed. Manik had left for the studio. Nandini's phone ringed. It was an unknown number. She picked up the call.

Nandini: hello who's it?

The person on the other side spoke

Hiii nandu. You didn't recognized me?

Nandini frowned.

Nandini: who r u? I don't know u.

The man on the other side spoke

Oh nandu! I am abhi. Abhimanyu. Your college best friend. Don't you remember.

Nandini : abhi! What a surprise. How did u get my number? And how r u.

Abhi: I am all gud. And Navya gave me your number.

Nandini: ohhh! So how's all going? How is everyone there in chennai?

Abhi : everything is good. And there's a good news. I am not in chennai. I have been transferred to Mumbai. I work as the accounts manager in khanna constructions.

Nandini: wow that's a great news. Even I am in Mumbai. This means that we can meet.

Abhi: yes sweetheart we can. And we will. Tomorrow I will be waiting for u at rock love cafe. U should be there at sharp six. Okay,..

Namdini: OK I'll be there. Bye.

Abhi: bye see u therea

nd he cut the call

Nandini went downstairs. Manik was sitting on the sofa with niyonika. Nandini went to niyonika and sat beside her. She told her about a hi and asked her if she could go to meet him. Niyonika agreed saying that she is free to do her will. Nandini happily went to the bedroom.

Manik at was getting jealous of this new guy abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu! Who is he? Why is nandini praising him soo much. Why does she want to meet him? That too in a cafe. I'll have to check this out.

The next evening, nandini was getting ready to meet a hi. Manik was silently watching her. He was quite jealous of that so called abhi.

Why is nandini giving him so much importance? Manik thought to himself.

Namdini got ready and went downstairs. She took her car and went to the rock love cafe. Naandini was sitting on one of the table. A man was keeping eye on her.

After a few mins , a man dressed in brown pant yellow shirt and black blazer with big glasses on and his hairs in oil, came to nandini.

Ma'am my name is ssubramanium. I am abhimanyu sirs secretary. I am here to inform u that abhimanyu sir will be a liitle to come here. He has got an urgent ,meeting so he will come after half an hour. He asked me to inform u about it.
the man said.

A pair of keen eyes was watching them. Though he didn't hear their conversation, but he was sure enough that subramaniyam is abhimanyu. That man is none other than manik.

Is this abhimanyu. I thought he is so handsome bit yeh! Yeh to ek number ka choosa hua AAM air thooka hua paan lagta Thai. He is so ugly. Huh now I don't need to worry of my nandu.

Manik thought. Wait ! What did I say. My nandu. No no no. Manik you r too stressed u need rest. Manik went back home.

Subramaniyam sat with nandini for a few minutes and then left.
