Chapter 6 : Nandini made the noodles. She looked here and there.
Manik : what happened? What are you looking for?
Nandini : noodles are ready. But how will we eat them?
Manik stood up and searched in the old table. he found just one plate of steel.
Manik : there is only 1 plate here. How will we eat in one plate?
Nandini : u eat first. I will eat later.
Manik : no. Pehle tum khao.
Nandini : u eat na.
Manik : ok.
Nandini putthe noodles in the plate. She gave it to manik. Manik tried to eat, but since his right hand was burnt, he was not able to eat. Nandini noticed this and she quickly took the plate from his hand . She took the noodles in her hand and forwarded it to manik. Manik was astonished at this. She looked at him. her intense gaze baffled him. he gazed at her eyes and took her hand in his mouth. Nandini smiled. She again forwarded the noodles to manik, but this time, he forwarded it back to nandini. Nandini blushed and ate it. Manik smirked.
This way they finished the noodles. Nandini kept the plate aside. Manik got up and stood in a corner. Suddenly, lightning struck the sky. Nandini was too much scared. She screamed manik's name and hugged him from the back. Manik was baffled at first, but then he too hugged her baxk. They both stayed in that position for sometime. But then manik recalled aaliya's words about nandini.
" She is a filthy gold digger, and she is behind your money. She will ruin u "
And he promptly pushed her.
Manik : stay away from me. Got it!
Manik showed his finger to her.
Nandini quietly went and sat in a corner. She was very sad and angry at manik. Manik just stared at the wall.
Nandini : pata nahi apne aap ko kya samajhta hai. Sadu akdu khadoos kahi ka. Abhi to thik tha, pata nahi achanak kya hogaya. Huh!
Nandini muttered to herself.
Manik : kuch kaha tumne? Manik gave a stern look to her.
Nandini : nnnahi. Maine kuch nahi kaha.
Manik turned back.
It started to rain heavily. Nandini was trembling with cold. Manik turned and looked at her. He felt pity for her. but again aaliya's words knocked his mind. And he again turned back.
But, something was calling him. He was getting attracted to her. he turned and looked at the trembling Nandini. He took a step forward and started un ottoning his shirt. Nandini was shocked.
Nandini: yeh tum kya kar rahe ho. Stay away. Go. See manik, mai waisi ladki nahi hoo. Huh! Pls stop it pls.
Nandini bowed her head and closed her eyes tight. Manik smirked. He removed his shirt and bent and placed it on her shoulders. His breaths were fanning nandini's head. She slowly looked up and opened her eyes. Manik was looking lovingly at her. Nandini smiled. Manik turned his head sideways ang stood up and turned. But he felt a gentle touch on his hand. He looked around and his eyes fell on nandini who was holding his hand.
Manik sat down.
Nandini : please mujhe chod ke mat jao. Pls don't leave me.
Manik sat beside her. He removed the strands of hair and tucked them behind her ear. Nandini kept her head on his chest and closed her eyes. Manik smiled and kept hos hand on her waist. They slet cuddling each other.
