'Lots of love to U and Manik..hamesha' Nandini read and re-read the line again and again as she looked at the handkerchief in her hand. Shahid has walked up to Manik and he whispered something in Manik's ears and Manik suddenly looked at Nandini and a smirk appeared on his face.
Nandini suddenly hid the handkerchief in her purse and Manik notice the way Nandini was fumbling with the handkerchief while trying to hide it and Shahid also turned back and saw Nandini nervously pushing the handkerchief into the purse and he smiled naughtily at Nandini.
'Bro...aap yahan pe aaye..thanks a lot!' Manik said to Shahid.
'Thanks bolega tho agle baar tu mujhe bulaayega tho main manaa kardoonga' Shahid said with a little pout on his face.
'Achcha baba! Kaan pakadta hoon! Thanks wapas le liye! Abhi tho humse milne aayenge na?' Manik asked Shahid with a genuine smile as he caught his ears.
Shahid pulled away his hands and gave Manik a hug and said softly to him.
'Nandini perfect choice hai! Tujhe match karti hai..shaadi pe bulaana..main zaroor aaoonga!'
Manik froze when he heard those words and pulled off from the hug and looked at Shahid with surprise.
'Bhai..aise kuch nahi hai' Manik tried to explain.
'Kuch nahi hai..wo tho dikh hi rahe the wahan pe..tune tho uske haath pakadke rakhe the...tu flirt karnewaala type tho nahi hai. Tujhe maine aaj tak kisi bhi ladki ke saath nahi dekhe' Shahid said to Manik with a smile.
'Nahi..bhai..magar Nandini ke saath...' Manik abruptly stopped his words as he himself thought to himself that what Shahid was saying had truth in it.
'Listen bro..agar tere mann main Nandini ke liye kuch nahi..tho usse dur rehna...she seems to be a sweet sensitive girl...usko hurt mat karna. Aur agar tere mann main kuch hai..tho openly keh dena! Don't hide, ok?' Shahid said to Manik placing his hand on Manik's shoulder.
'Ok..bro!' Manik assured Shahid as he gave Shahid another hug.
'Chal! Abhi mujhe yahan se nikalne hai! Saare students busy hai with Diwali celebrations, dance music and the pataakhas and its the perfect time to sneak out of here.' Shahid said with a smile as he saw his manager approaching him pointing at the watch.
'Ok bro!' Manik said pulling out of the hug as he shook hands. Nandini's eyes were still on Manik and Shahid and she smiled seeing the way they hugged each other so lovingly.
Manik and Nandini looked at Shahid as he walked with the manager to the side of the building to the front part of SPACE. At one point, he turned around and waved to both Manik and Nandini and Nandini wondered if he was waving at her too. But as she saw him waving she waved back with a smile on her face. Then Shahid disappeared out of sight behind the building. Nandini turned to look back at Manik who was looking at her waving at Shahid.
'Manik..listen na...help me with lighting this pataakha' Alya said putting her hand on Manik's shoulder.
'Ya..come!' Manik said as he walked after Alya to help her with the fireworks.
Nandini walked over to Navya who was busy with Cabir. Cabir saw Nandini walking towards Navya and walked over to be with Dhruv and Mukti who were smiling and bursting some fire crackers.
Navya saw Nandini walking towards her and she waved her showing the sparkler in her hand. Nandini took one of the sparklers from Navya and lighted it and she then twirled the sparkler in the air and turned to see that Manik had lighted the pataakha for Alya. Alya was smiling happily and she suddenly held one of Manik's hands.
'Manik...tumko nahi lagta ke har saal ek saath iss tarah Diwali manane hai! It's so much fun!' Alya said with a huge smile on her face.
'Ya surely!' Manik said back with a genuine smile as he completed the sentence 'We Fab 5 are inseparable and we always will be together'😃
Alya gave a weak smile..then she suddenly leaned a bit against Manik resting her head slightly on his shoulder as she said 'I was speaking about me and you'
'Haan...it's not just about me and you yaar..it's about us! It's about all 5 of us!' Manik said trying to brush away Alya's words. Suddenly Manik noticed Mukti calling him to join her and Dhruv.
'Look! Mukti is calling us' Manik said to Alya as he suddenly walked towards Mukti and Dhruv. Alya felt disappointed that Manik always tried to walk away from her whenever she got close to him.
But last time...last time when he was heart-broken..I was the shoulder to lean on. I consoled him...but now when I tried to lean against him, he ran away from me making an excuse!' Alya noticed Mukti calling her too. Alya made up a smile on her face as she walked to stand next to Dhruv as she noticed Mukti and Manik dancing to 'London Thumakda' song which was being played on the speaker.
Nandini felt a bit sad seeing the way Alya was leaning against Manik.
'Mujhe pata nahi Shahidji ne aise kyon bole Manik aur mere baare main. It is so clear that Alya is in love with Manik' Nandini thought as a tear brimmed in her eyes. Nandini looked at Manik who was busy with Fab 5 members dancing to 'London Thumakda'
Nandini felt that perhaps she and Manik were not meant to be together.
'I think..I should try to become a friend to him and nothing more...even if Manik likes me..I cannot break Alya's heart. I can see that she is in love with Manik' Nandini thought as she looked at Navya who was looking at her face.
'Kya hua Nandu? Tu kya soch rahi hai?' Navya asked with a questioning look on her face.
'Nahi..bas Amms ko miss kar rahi thi' Nandini made up an excuse as she didn't want Navya to know what is happening.
'Navya..mujhe ghar jaane hai...bahut der ho rahi hai...abhi tho 8.00 baj chuke hai' Nandini whispered to Navya.
'Yaar abhi tho party shuroo hui hai aur tu jaane ki soch rahi hai?' Navya asked looking at Nandini with a perplexed look on her face. She noticed that Nandini was not looking as happy like before.
'Achcha bataa tere Shahidji se baat hui thi na? Unhone kya kaha tujhse?' Navya asked suddenly as she lit another sparkler and handed it to Nandini. 😛
'Wo...Shahidji ne..' Nandini mumbled. Suddenly those words resounded in her heart.
He is a nice guy..Nandini..and don't let go of him..he really cares for you..'
'Bol na..Shahidji ne kya kaha?' Navya asked shaking Nandini out of the dazed mood.
'Shahidji ne bas..Happy Diwali wish kiye' Nandini said casually hiding the truth behind a smile.
'Tujhe pata hai? Shahidji ne na..mere haath pe autograph kiye! Abhi main kal kaise nahaaoongi?' Navya said with a perplexed expression on her face. 😕
'Kyon? Kya hua?' Nandini asked with a smile.
'Yaar..soap lagaa liye tho ye autograph dhul jaayenge na? Aur mujhe na ye autograph ek paper pe lene chahiye the! Agle baar se na..main ek choti si note book apne saath rakhoongi! Kya pata..kab phirse Shahidji se mulaaqat ho! Yaar tu Manik se bol na! Shayad Manik help kare hamare phirse Shahidji se milne ke aur phir main autograph loongi unke apne notebook main' Navya said with a huge smile.
Nandini also smiled but suddenly they were distracted by a vibration coming from her purse.
Nandini opened the purse and took the phone given by Manik and a new message has arrived.
'Come...to the front of the college...U'll see a car parked outside..black colour Honda city! Come near the car'.
'Kiske message hai?' Navya asked Nandini trying sneak a glance at the phone. Nandini kept the phone in her bag and looked at Navya a bit nervously. 'Manik tujhe bulaa rahe hai?' Navya asked as if understanding the reason for Nandini's nervousness.
'Tujhe kaise pata?' Nandini asked her eyes widening in disbelief.
'Nandu..tere saath itne saal rahi hoon...poore Diwali celebrations main tere aankhon main sirf Manik the aur Manik ke aankhein sirf tujh pe hai. Itna tho main bhi samajh sakti hoon...ke Manik ke hi message honge'
Nandini felt a bit embarrassed as she realized that Shahid was not the only one who noticed things about herself and Manik.
'Wo..main..' Nandini muttered nervously.
'Tu na..main main karti reh! Manik na tujhse naraaz hoke chala jaayega' Navya said.
'Tho main kya karoon?'
'Tujhse jo message main bola hai..wo kar! Aur tu mujhe iss phone se mujhe missed kar call' Navya suggested. Nandini dialed Navya's number and Navya's phone started ringing. Navya saved the number and said to Nandini 'Tu abhi jaa..main sab sambhaal loongi. Tere ghar se call aayenge tho bol doongi ke hum celebrations main busy hai aur ghar jaldi wapas aayenge. Abhi tu jaa' Navya said to Nandini giving her a little push.
Nandini walked towards the front part of the college and walked out through the main gate of the college and she looked first right and then left and on the left side outside the college gate was a black car parked.
Nandini walked to the car and suddenly the car door swung open. Nandini walked over to the car and on the driver's seat it was Manik. There was a smile on Manik's face as he invited her to sit inside. Nandini reluctantly pulled her long flowing skirt as she sat inside the car and closed the door behind her.
'Manik..tumne mujhe yahan kyon bulaaye?' Nandini asked with a confused look on her face.
'Because..my dear Nandu...I want some time with just me and you together' Manik said with a little smile on his face as he looked at Nandini. Nandini was glowing in the light inside the car and he noticed that the kajal on her eye has smeared a bit. Manik pointed towards her eye.
'Kya?' Nandini asked touching her cheek.
'Wo..kaajal' Manik whispered pointing to her eye.
Nandini touched the corner of her eye and rubbed there with her finger smearing the kaajal even more. Manik smirked seeing the way Nandini messed it up more.
'Wait...' Manik said as he moved closer to Nandini. Nandini suddenly got a bit shocked as she moved backwards and pushed herself against the closed door. Manik leaned a bit more closer and touched her cheek lightly. Then slightly started rubbing away the kaajal that was slightly smeared. Nandini closed both her eyes at the touch and that touch felt magical.
'He is so gentle...his touch is so tender' Nandini thought as opened her eyes and looked. Manik's gaze was fully on her but his focus was directed towards removing the kajal and making it clean. Now Manik's fingers were smeared with kajal and he looked around to find something to wipe his hand.
'Tumhaare paas handkerchief honge kya?' Manik suddenly asked as he continued to look around.
'Haan' Nandini said as she opened the purse and took the handkerchief out of the purse and gave to Manik. Manik took the handkerchief and prepared to wipe his fingers but paused as he read a message written on it.
'Love is forever...

Manik smirked as he read the message and looked at Nandini and he whispered: 'This is for both of us..phir tumne isko chupaake kyon rakhe?'
Nandini looked with a shocked expression on her face as she realized that she gave her the handkerchief given by Shahid instead of her own handkerchief.
'Wo...' Nandini mumbled nervously trying to take the handkerchief off Manik's hand. Manik pulled away the handkerchief farther as he looked at her with a smirk on his face.
'Please Manik..mujhe wo handkerchief do' Nandini said
'Nnno!' Manik said with a stress as he smirked again 'This is for both of us...tho ye hum dono ke paas rehne chahiye'
'Wo..mujhe Shahidji ne diye hai' Nandini argued.
'Haan par ispe tho mera bhi naam hai..' Manik argued back.
'Please mujhe de do na..' Nandini said in a pleading tone.
'Ek shart pe..' Manik said with a little smile.
'Kya?' Nandini asked with a confused look on her face.
'Tumhe mujhe kiss karne honge' Manik said with a smirk on his face.
Nandini froze as she looked at Manik with a shocked expression on her face.
'Ayyappa...kya maine sahi suna? Manik wants me to kiss him? Ab main kya karoon?' Nandini thought as she continued to gaze at Manik with a nervous expression on her face. 😕😆
