Agree about the fact and fiction difference part. But I mean about our imagination side. But then...Dhruv's character is like the second romantic lead. Manik is main lead and Dhruv can not just be considered a trivial character. He is like the second lead and a lot of time was spent to build up Dhrulya romance. One more factor is that...even if a new actor is brought in...there is less scope for the new actor too. I mean just walking behind Alya and discussing Musicana and concerts with Manik and rest of the gang...Dhruv's character growth paused there. In the start..Dhruv's character had a story...as in the fear towards the star and all. But after that part was closed, now Dhruv is like a regular guy and there's no further buildup. Plus fans are not very interested in the romance track of Dhrulya. That's what Utkarsh thought to quit. Same with Ayaz too...because he felt that the scope of his role reduced. Any new actor even if he is brought in...will wish for scope to perform. I wonder if the CVs will even try to weave a story around Dhruv's character too..even if Utkarsh was there. All they could've managed to do was a misunderstanding track or breakup or something of the sort.

Now think of this...if U are an actor, if U are given the role of Dhruv at this point after Utkarsh had portrayed Dhruv in a different way...where CVs may take up is misunderstanding track or something similar...will you accept the role? Won't U think of taking up a meatier role??😳

Dhruv WAS a.second lead at the begining.of the.show... When uttu went to splitsvilla and.dhruv.was.absent for more.than a month except for hard core uttu fans.noone.really missed.him.. That itself shows the effect of.his.character in the show... He.was good at the begining and had.importance but writers and.uttu's limited acting distroyed that importance dhruv had at the.begining...

There are.lots of.newcomers.who will jump to do the role of shruv if its.offered.. So replacing him is not a big.deal for the ph or the channel...

Ur points count.have.been valid to q point if.ayaz,.parth or niti was replaced coz they had that mych effect on the viewers than uttu... Also majority of.the viewers.wants to see manan and manan only ad no one.is.interested to see other.characters getting screen spce... Without gettting acreen pce how can a character grow??? So we cannot.completely blame the writers for pausing the growth of other characters... I am a manan shipper and yes I do get dissaointed when there is less.manan scenes but am fine.with other characters getting screen space...

I agree that their.is.not.much scoop for dhruv thats why uttu left but that doesnot mean dhruv's character should be written off... We will be.uncomfortable for a.few.days to see.ssomeone else as dhruv but will get used to it...

cabir ...as far as i remember cabir has twin brother ..they can bring him showing him as cabir brother ..joining fab 5

Agree friends..what I meant was not about the importance of actor Utkarsh..but I meant about the image of Dhruv that we have in our mind. When I watch a serial...I sort of attach the image to a name...and when faces change, it feels awkward to me. That's why I said so. 😳

i think this high time to GIVE AN END 2 the show...

As CV's jst ruining the beauty of the show day ny day...

becoz the new unit cnt understand the main moto of the show...

if Pani r doing Manan i can watch this show 4 more nd more years bt OTHER ACTORS ALSO A PART OF THIS SHOW COZ Manan cnt be Manan it the charecters dont exist in the showw...

i miss Cabir in each evry moment of Fab5...

there is big big diffrences between KY2 S1 ND S2...😕

They did the same with regard to Madhyam too. They brought Madhyam coz when Parth left, they wanted to bring in a new lead in Season 2. When Parth returned..then Madhyam's character was no more required.

Now...ek logical baat boloon?? Hamare grandparents mar gaye iska matlab ye tho nahi ke hum apne grandparents ko replace karenge?😆 We all will have the image of grandparents within our heart and they will remain the same in our mind always and that is the beauty of it. We feel their presence around.

Now with regard to Cabir's exit from the story...he remains as a memory to Fab 5 and with regard to Dhruv, if ever he plans to make a comeback..it can be shown as him coming back...even at any point in the story. So the re-entry scope of Utkarsh is still left open. Maybe before winding up KY2S2...at some point, they can show re-entry of Dhruv and him re-uniting with Alya.

But personally I don't very much approve of new actor replacing old actors to enact a role. 😳

Replacing parth is not same as replacinguttkarsh, not even close
Replacing parth or niti is nearly out of ques
But ayaz n uttu can be replaced
Now ayaz is a lil illogical as cabir is dead...
But uttkarsh I mean if they bring a good actor it won't be that difficult
Girl never ever bring ur real relations in contrast with a show

I agree..dhruv's character is good..i would prefer dhruv over arya..he is annoying sometimes..

they should think about it..

rather then focusing on arya they should go for dhruv..

replace him..

I jz hope dhruvalya fans are ok wid it..or else they can give them HAE and move on wid better track

I completely agree with ur post. I dont mind replacing dhruv cause the show is about fab 5 afterall, n if there is no fab 5 then wats the point of the show. Moreover, now that dhruv left, they have enough time to bring in a new dhruv and that might even fit in well with the story cause getting rid of a character in the show all of a sudden does not make any sense. They need to be more reasonable about the show now cause i think that the story's going down day by day. Leta hope that something good happens.

Dear...regarding bringing real relations in contrast to a show..I meant not as in for real. I mean as in the kind of attachment we give to a person or even a character and connect it with images. The image of take for instance a friend of yours...that image is something we attach to that name. Similarly with Dhruv. When we say Dhruv...the image of Utkarsh appears in our mind. When we replace that image with another..it's weird.

Regarding Ayaz being replaced as Cabir also..I would like to differ. I mean..not many actors can bring the kind of comic element that Ayaz brought in with portrayal of Cabir. When we hear Cabir, we imagine a particular behaviour patternwaala insaan, whose quickwit, expressions..all remind us of Ayaz. Now if another actor enacts the same character, he would talk, walk and behave different from Cabir ..even if he totally tries to imitate Ayaz. Ayaz has a style of its own and his style is what we see in Cabir.

Regarding replacing Parth and Utkarsh being different..yaar if we take the history of television serials..it had happened many times that the main lead has been replaced with other actors and it was tough to connect too. But it had happened many times. The only reason why Parth was not replaced was because...perhaps he talked to the creatives as if he may/may not return. That's why they made it as if Manik was not in car while blast took place.

But then U are saying that Utkarsh can be replaced. Yaar...Fab 5 members...why we miss them? It's not because we miss the character alone. If so...Dhruv's character is not dead. His character is alive and if we assume that...why bring in another actor to do the role? Dhruv's character is still there even if not on screen, right?? I mean..take for instance, the character of Abhi..why didn't they bring back another guy in the role of Abhi? Why didn't they bring in another actor to replace Maddy? It's maybe because they want the fans to keep the images of the characters as they are. Instead of bringing in one face after another to do a single character..why not just make that character disappear ...either permanently or temporarily.

If we think of whether Dhruv's character is gone? It's not. It is there...but not onscreen with Manik and rest of Fab 5. If supposing instead of quitting, Uttu wanted a break and had taken a break...let's assume that way and it's shown as him going on a vacation or something. Then would we insist on bringing in a new actor as filler? No na?? We would take for granted the disappearance of that character. Just like the way...Shahid (the guy who was first planning to jump off the building) and Abhi's character's disappeared and it didn't affect audience too.

We are thinking continuously of Fab 5...Manik and Yaariyaan connecting just these three. But perhaps CVs intend to show...Yaariaan that remain and some Yaariaan that break...due to circumstances or by decision of the characters themselves. If instead of insisting to bring in Dhruv's character compulsorily to show Fab 5, we assume that Dhruv is still there..even though not in picture...it's still Fab 4 and has not become Fab 3, na??😳

I said all of this because..I many times saw characters in serials being replaced by new actors and if by chance, the new actor is not upto the mark, we watch the replacement actor not matching upto the performance of prior actor, we would complain on that too, na??
