Priceless date😛
'Hii Manik' Nandini mumbled standing next to Manik.
'Hey Nandu...I was so missing you all day..' Manik said as he pulled her and made her sit down next to him.
Deepshika's eyes snapped wide into two large black holes as they stared at the way he put his arms around Nandu's shoulder caressing her left arm.
'50 rupees for shoulder touch..magar aise haath mere haath pe rub karne ke paise kaise lagaaoon? 50 for moving his palm up my hand and 50 rupees for palm moving down my hand?' Nandini tried calculating. 😕
'Who is he? Why are you behaving like this with him?' Deepshika asked as sparks started flying from the black holes.
'He...he is...' Manik said as he got closer to Nandini and he continued to trace his finger up and down her other left arm. 'He is..' Manik continued looking at Nandini. Nandini turned and looked at his eyes and his eyes were looking deep into hers.
'What the heck man? U are here on a blind date with me and you brought along with you your boyfriend?'
Nandini suddenly turned around to her and said 'No..he's not my boyfriend' 😕
'I was not saying to you..I was speaking to him! And you don't even talk in between!' Deepshika said angrily looking at Nandini. Nandini looked away and didn't know what to say to this girl.
'We can't stay away from each other, Deeps..he is close to my heart'
'So? What do I appear to you? A fool? Your dadi fooled me by saying that you looking for a girl to get married to and here you are you loser gay! That old haggard!'
'Deeps please if you don't like me..you can give me gaalis but not my dadi, ok?' Manik said turning to look at her.
'Ya ya! Your dadi must be a goddess that I shouldn't say anything about her! That witch wasted my time and I'm here looking at two morons romancing!' she said looking at Manik and Nandini.
'Please..don't say anything about him.' Manik said trying to protect Nandini.
'I'll just punch this tiny little spider into that seat' Deepshika said as she rose to give Nandini a punch. Manik's eyes flew open in shock as he tried to block her. But suddenly Nandini's hand flew up and blocked the punch. Deepshika's eyes grew wide in shock.
'Miss! Please don't even go there! We are not speaking to you with fists...we are politely speak to you and don't you dare raise your hand on me! Don't think I won't give you a punch!' Nandini suddenly retorted getting up.
Manik also got up trying to block them.
'Oh yea!! Are you such a cheapo that you'll raise your hand on a girl?' Deepshika asked angrily as she glared at Nandini. 'If you are so strong, then bring it on!' Deepshika said as she threw one more punch at Nandini. Manik pushed Nandini away and tried to block Deepshika and the punch landed upon him.
'Oww!' Manik said as he flinched in pain. Nandini fell down but looked up with a shock as she saw a red spot on Manik's cheek.
'You! How dare you hit him?' Nandini asked as she got up and looked at Deepshika.
'That serves him right! He deserved that punch for double-crossing me!' Deepshika said as she fumed at Nandini and walked away from there.
Nandini wanted to follow her and turn her around and give her a punch. But then suddenly Manik caught Nandini's hand and stopped her. Manik was cupping his cheek with the other hand from the pain.
'Let her go...' Manik mumbled as he looked at Nandini.
'Sir..are you ok?' Nandini asked as she bent down to take a look at Manik. Manik sat and looked up at Nandini as she gently caressed his cheek. 'Sir...aap ke muh se tho khoon nikal rahe hai'
'Wait...this can't go on!' Manik said as he got up and called up his dadi.
'Ya dadi...I met two girls...I didn't like both of them. I'm really tired dadi..please I can't meet anymore. Aap call karke baakki appointments cancel kar deejiye' Manik said in a tired tone as he looked with a disappointed look on his face. Nandini felt bad that Manik had to go through all this.
'Par Manik...kya hua? Kyon nahi mil sakte baakki ladkiyon se?' Dadi asked with a perplexed look on her face.
'Mood nahi hai dadi..and please don't ask more questions! I'm leaving the restaurant right now..shaam ko milenge' Manik said as he cut the call.
'Sir..aapke muh se khoon nikal rahe hai' Nandini mumbled as she gently touched his cheek.
'No its ok yaar...I'll be ok..' Manik said as he wiped away the blood off his lips.
'Please aap mere saath chaliye..we'll go back to the hotel' Nandini mumbled.
'Hotel?' Manik asked looking up at her.
'Haan...wohi hotel..jahan pe hum pehle the...ya phir lets go to hospital' Nandini said a bit worried.
'Yaar..tu kaisa ladka hai? Haven't you gotten into fights? Aise fights tho school fights jaise hote hai. Just one punch and you are this worried?' Manik asked with a little smirk his face.
'No sir..please aap inn cheezon ko itne lightly kaise le sakte hai..'
'Hmm...no..I'll be ok..if U do one thing...'
'K..Kya?' Nandini asked nervously
'Feed me a little of your Tiramisu' Manik said with a smile. 'Won't you feed me some?'
Nandini nodded in a yes and Manik got up from his seat and took her hand and they walked over to her seat and both sat there.
'Yaar...did you see those girls? Kaisi ladkiyan the yaar...' Manik said with a dejected look on his face.
'It's ok sir..there'll be a nice girl for you.' Nandini said with a little smile.
'Yaar..girls ko chodo now let's eat the Tiramisu..feed me the Tiramisu' Manik said as he opened his mouth wide. Nandini looked with a shocked expression on her face. But then she scooped a little bit of Tiramisu on the spoon and fed Manik.
Manik tasted the Tiramisu and his eyes widened in joy as he said 'Delicious! Haina?' 😳
'Yes sir...yahan khaana bahut achcha hai'
Manik took the spoon from Nandini's hand and scooped some Tiramisu and stretched the spoon towards Nandini.
'Abhi tu khaa...tujhe tho achche se maine khaane bhi nahi diye..sorry yaar' Manik said with an apologetic look on his face.
Nandini looked at the spoon of Tiramisu and at him.
'He is the first guy who is feeding me food...and it feels weird. He thinks of me as a boy but he is not acting with me as if I'm a boy' Nandini thought as she continued to look at him.
'Now open up and eat this Tiramisu' Manik said as he took the spoon closer to her. Nandini opened her mouth and Manik fed her the food.
'You know what I liked most about this blind date?' Manik asked with a smirk on his face.
'No...' Nandini mumbled looking at him.
'This moment when we both are feeding each other Tiramisu. Unn girls ke saath spend kiye hue few minutes are nothing compared to these few seconds being with you' Manik said as he looked lovingly at Nandini.
Nandini looked away as she didn't know what he meant by what he said. Manik himself got confused by his words.
'What am I saying to him? What will he think of me?' Manik thought as he backed off automatically.
'Thank you sir..' Nandini mumbled looking at Manik.
'For what?' Manik asked with a questioning look on his face.
'For letting me have such good food..aise khaane tho kahan daily khaane ko milte hai.' Nandini said with a sad look on her face.
'Hmm...tho aaj khaana free! Hum aaj yahan khaayenge aur phir saath wapas chalenge' Manik said to Nandini with a wide smile on his face.
'No it's ok aapke face...pehle aapko hospital jaane chahiye..'
'No it's ok yaar..thode se ice lagaaoonga tho thik ho jaayega'
Nandini's face suddenly broke into a smile.
'Wait sir!' Nandini said as she rushed over to one of the waiters and asked the waiter to bring some ice. She returned back and sat down with a smile.
'Hm..tune wahan jaake mere liye ice mangvaaye, right?' Manik asked with a smile. Nandini nodded with a smile.
'Achcha tho main ice lagaaoonga apne chehre pe and you eat the food that you like' Manik said with a smile. Manik called one of the waiters and Nandini and Manik placed their orders.
After a few minutes one of the waiters brought the ice. Manik placed the ice on his swollen cheek and smiled a bit looking at Nandini.
'Better feel ho rahe hai? Is it still paining?' Nandini asked with a concerned look on her face.
'No yaar..it's much better now! Ye le khaana bhi aa gaya' Manik said as he moved aside the bowl of ice.
It was not one or two dishes that Manik ordered and it was not one or two smiles that he gave Nandini. More than the dishes the smiles of Manik as they both enjoyed the food together was what Nandini loved most. Nandini couldn't take her eyes off Manik and Manik didn't understand why he felt so happy when he was with this boy.
'Ok..abhi dinner is over...time for some icecream!' Manik said with a smile. Nandini's eyes widened as she was stuffed completely and had no more place in her tummy😆
'Sir..I'm full!' Nandini mumbled looking up at Manik.
'Arre yaar..koi ladka itni jaldi full kaise ho sakta hai? Ye tho bahut kam hai..tu itna kam kyon khaata hai? Isliye tho itne chote waist hai tere' Manik said with a little laugh. Nandini felt aware of her waist and looked away awkwardly. 😕
'Tho hum icecream share karenge and the icecream is your treat for spending the evening with me and helping me' Manik said with a smile.
Nandini looked with a little smile on her face as she nodded happily.
'Shayad iske baad hum kabhi na mile..tho tere saath jitne achche moments spent kiye na...uske liye ye mere tarafse treat hai' Manik said with a smile. 😊
'Kabhi nahi milenge?' Nandini thought a bit sadly as she looked away. 'Ayyappa...kya ye hamare last day honge being together?' 😕
'Kyon yaar..tera chehra kyon utra hua hai? Shayad tu paise ke baare main soch raha hoga..don't worry...tu jitna bolega..tujhe doonga' Manik said with a smile. 'Tune tho hisaab kitaab bhi lagaaya hoga na?' Manik said with a little smirk. 😛
Nandini nodded her head in a 'No' because those touches were priceless. 😕
'Aise touch pe rate kaise lagaaoon...jo dil tak pahunche? Dil ke feelings ko paise se tho exchange nahi kiya ja sakta..his touches were so tender..so loving..and why they touched me through my body to my heart..I myself don't know' Nandini thought as she looked away.
'Ok..chal...agar tune hisaab nahi lagaaye..tho I'll give you money as per my decision?' Manik said with a little smile.
Nandini looked up at Manik and a little drop of tear welled up in her eyes.
'Pata nahi kyon...meri dil dukh rahi hai...paisa tho hamesha se main chahti thi...magar itna care...itne achche treatment...iska koi hisaab nahi ho sakta..I cannot take any money' Nandini thought as she looked away.
'Hmm...magar maine tho tujhe bahut baar touch nahi kiye...paise kam pad jayenge na?' Manik thought with a pout on his lips. 😕
'No sir..aapne itne khaana khilaaye...yehi kaafi hai' Nandini mumbled looking away.
'Oh Nandu! Comeon yaar..main itna kanjoos bhi nahi hoon! Tujhe tho paise ki bhi zaroorat hai' Manik said in a casual way.
'No sir..it's ok!' Nandini said licking her lips as she tried to push her tears into her eyes as she closed her eyes tight and opened them again.
'It's ok? Yaar tu tho bada hi ajeeb hai! Pehle tho tune hi bole ke tujhe choone ke rate lagaayenge aur maine rate bhi lagaaye..tho tujhe hisaab lagaake bolne chahiye the na! Chal wo chod..magar tu kam se kam thode se tho paise le sakte haina'
'Mujhe paise nahi chahiye' Nandini said looking up at him suddenly.
'Tho phir kya chahiye?' Manik asked looking back at her.
'Kuch bhi nahi' Nandini said and continued to look into his eyes.
'How will I let him go without giving him anything in return? I think I simply used him for my needs...but he is not willing to take anything from me...it will be like letting him go so easily.' Manik thought with a look on his face.
'Achcha ek kaam karte hai...agar tujhe paise nahi chahiye..then I'll buy something for you..dress, shoes, anything you want! Let's go!' Manik said getting up with a smile. Nandini followed Manik out of the restaurant after Manik had paid the bills. They walked towards the car and sat in it.
'Hmm..yaar..tu thik tho haina? Itna silent aur udaas kyon lag raha hai?' Manik asked looking at Nandini with a questioning look on his face. 😕
'Kuch bhi nahi' Nandini mumbled looking away.
'Achcha chal ye bata..tujhe khaana tho achcha laga na?' Manik asked with a little smile looking at Nandini.
'Haan..bahut achcha..' Nandini said as she bit her lip trying to stifle one more drop of tear coming into her eyes.
'Good..so tell me..where do we go now?' Manik asked with a smile.
'Pata nahi...' 😕
'Tu bahut tired hai kya? Tujhe ghar jaane hai?' Manik asked with a concerned look on his face.
'Haan' Nandini mumbled without looking at him.
Manik felt bad and he didn't know why his heart was aching. He didn't feel like switching on his car anymore. He felt as if he wanted to stay in the car with this boy for some more time. He didn't want things to end so fast.
What is this feeling? Is it friendship? Is it a brotherly feeling? Manik couldn't identify what he felt towards this tiny cute boy who was no longer looking at him.
Manik somehow started the car and continued to drive silently. He was no longer looking at Nandini. But the evening and what happened this evening made him most confused. 😕
'Main aaya tha ek blind date pe..khud ke liye ek ladki ko choose karne..magar main attracted ho raha hoon..towards this boy. Is it because he looks cute?' Manik thought as he looked sideways at Nandini.
Manik looked at the long eyelashes that closed slowly as she blinked her eyes and then at the chubby cheeks that were shining in the evening light. His eyes trailed down to those full lips which were a bit open as she gazed at the road ahead and then back to her eyes which were looking thoughtfully at the road. Manik couldn't take his eyes off her. Suddenly a horn sound was heard in front of him and Manik saw a car coming in equal speed in their direction! It was so close and Manik suddenly swerved the car to the right as the other car raced past their car. When Manik steered the car to the right and then back to left, Nandini fell upon him. She was half on his lap and he suddenly pressed on the brakes bringing the vehicle to a halt. Manik was looking blank. They just missed out on an accident. His arms were now around Nandini holding her and her body was shivering in fear. Manik looked at Nandini's face and Nandini's eyes were wide open in shock.
'You ok?' Manik asked looking with concern separately her from him a bit and looking at Nandini. 😕
'Y..Yes' Nandini mumbled licking her lips in shock. Her eyes were still wide in shock and she was looking blankly at him.
'I'm sorry..mere dhyan kahin aur tha..I could've caused an accident..sorry yaar' Manik apologized suddenly looking at Nandini with a sorry look on his face.
'I..It's ok..please agar aapke mind distracted hai..tho hum rukke chale? Please aap apne mind ko clear keejiye' Nandini said looking at Manik. Manik got out of his car and walked towards a nearby tree and slowly leaned against it. Nandini walked over and stood in front of him facing him and looking at him. 😳
'Are you ok?' Nandini asked getting closer to him. Manik was standing there leaning his head against the tree and looking blankly up at the sky. The stars were now starting to appear on the sky. ⭐️
'Hmm...I'm ok..you know...when I was small I used to always come out to watch the sky with Alya. Alya ke saath jis tarah time guzarta tha..it was so much fun' Manik spoke without thinking what he was speaking.
'Alya?' Nandini asked with a confused look on her face.
'Yes..Alya..she is the girl whom I like. Tere life main bhi koi hue honge na..jisse tujhe bhi pyaar hua hoga..' Manik said looking at Nandini. Nandini nodded her head in a 'yes'. Nandini's mind suddenly rewinded to that scene in the restaurant where Harshad had insulted her.
'Maine socha tha ke main Alya ko bhulaake aage badh paaoonga..but I think even now..my heart is attached to her..warna main aaj unn ladkiyon ko reject nahi karta. Shayad main kisi aur ko kabhi pyaar nahi kar paaoonga' Manik said thoughtfully. Nandini looked at Manik and a sad smile spread over her lips. 😊
'Main kiske saath nayi feelings banaa rahi hoon? Uske saath jiske dil main koi aur hai..jiske life main koi aur hai...aur main kya hoon?Sirf ek boy hoon unke nazar main...ek aise boy jo ek din ke liye gay date bane..aur jisko log sirf paise ke nazar se dekhte hai. Shayad mere fate main pyaar nahi..shayad mere dil ke wajah se mujhe koi pyaar nahi karenge' Nandini thought as she looked away.
Suddenly Manik pulled her next to him and made Nandini stand with him. Nandini leaned against the tree and her gaze also travelled dreamily to the sky and he held her hand in his.
'Kya main wapas pyaar kar paaoonga?' Manik asked looking sideways at her. 😕
'Kar paaoge...' Nandini said without she herself not intending to say so. 😳
'Really? Tujhe lagta hai ke main pyaar kar paaonga?' Manik asked as he turned around and stood standing right in front of Nandini facing her. Nandini's shining eyes looking into Manik's and Manik's gaze was locked by the gaze of Nandini. 😳
'Haan really lagta hai' Nandini mumbled looking into Manik's eyes with a little smile. 😊
'Thanks yaar...' Manik said as he placed his hand on Nandini's head affectionately patting her head. A light breeze was blowing and caressed Nandini's hair and a few locks of hair fell over her forehead and around her cheeks. Manik noticed the locks of hair. His gaze travelled from her eyes back to her cheeks.
Manik's finger gently traced Nandini's forehead as he brushed away the locks of hair. His finger travelled down on her cheek and he tucked the lock of hair behind her ear.
Nandini didn't understand what was happening anymore. She felt herself drowning in Manik's gaze. What is the meaning hidden in his gaze? Nandini was unable to understand. But his gaze was really intense. 😳
'You know...you are very beautiful' Manik whispered as his fingers cupped her cheeks and his eyes blinked with a look of admiration in them.
Nandini's eyes grew wide in shock. This was the first time a boy cupped her cheeks like this and said these words to her. Manik didn't know why but he got closer to her. 😕
'I badly want to kiss his lips...I want to stop myself..but I can't' Manik thought as he continued to move closer to Nandini. Without he himself realizing Manik planted a kiss on Nandini's forehead.
Nandini felt the kiss heavenly it was the most beautiful. Manik paused as he closed the eyes enjoying this kiss..it felt nice. It felt most beautiful.
'Sir..its getting late' Nandini mumbled nervously as she came to her senses. 😕
Manik broke off the kiss and backed off. His eyes grew wide in shock. But then suddenly he smiled and started laughing.
'Tu itna nervous kyon hai? Don't friends kiss each other?'
'Friends?' Nandini asked with a confused look on her face. 😕
'Ya friends! Tu already mera friend ban gaya haina..and you are so cute, yaar! Aur waise bhi main tera shocked expression dekhna chahta tha!' Manik said with a laugh. But inwardly Manik didn't understand why in the whole world did he find this boy to give such a kiss. 😕
Nandini looked confused but smiled back trying to hide her embarassment and awkwardness.
'Chal..tujhe ghar chod deta hoon and tomorrow I'll come to pick you up once again' Manik said with a smile.
'Kal phirse?' Nandini asked with a questioning look in her eyes.
'Yes..we have some shopping to do! Itni jaldi bhool gaya kya?' Manik said with a smirk.
'No sir..its ok'
'If U say no...tujhe main...tujhe main' Manik mumbled looking for a threatening statement. 😆
'Mujhe kya?' Nandini asked with a questioning look in her eyes.
'If U say no..main tujhe kidnap kar loonga' Manik said with a smirk.
Nandini's eyes grew wide in shock.
'So do you want me to kidnap you?' Manik asked with a smirk walking once again to her.
'N..No..' Nandini mumbled looking away. She never felt this much nervous in front of a guy.
'Ok..so that's fixed! Let me drop you home' Manik said as he walked to the door and opened the door for her. Nandini sat in the car and looked around nervously as Manik got inside and started the car. Nandini showed the directions to her home and finally he dropped her in front of her house. He then gave a beautiful smile as he said to her gently
'Bye..Nandu...kal milte hai'
'Bye..' Nandini waved her hand slightly with a smile on her face.
As the car was distancing away from Nandini...Manik looked into the rear-view mirror and saw Nandini standing there looking at his car.
'Tomorrow I'll take him shopping..but what after that? Should I continue to meet him? Why did I kiss him? What is this strange feeling in my heart?' 😕
'Ayyappa..this feels like a dream...it's not our last day together...kal phirse hum milenge...a new day...a new journey...Aaj ka din..main kabhi nahi bhool sakti. It has been the most beautiful day..the most beautiful date which gave me priceless memories even if I went with him as a boy' Nandini thought as she looked at the car disappearing from her sight.😳
