whatever the reason is i dont think their is too much awkwardness like everyone thinks !!
for me manan are there in show that's enough we got pani together back in s2 with too much difficulty !!
we cant expect perfect everything as we got from season 1 as noe the kyy unit is new their working pattern is different !!
But yah pani are giving their best as much as they can do but at the end it's director and editor who should also give more attention and concentrate on how to make scene better and improving the story 👍🏼

If the writing was top notch then it would cover up for poor direction and vice versa, Here both are bad so the end product would obviously be lacking.

And it doesn't have to do with just lack of intimate scenes totally. Just comfortably holding each other, holding the partners shoulders, sitting closely, side hugs and such touchy feely gestures generally in all there interactions accompanied between themselves and while with others, with good soulful expressions would give the soulfully in-love couple like look and vibe.
Here most of the time when they are having a good conversation they sit apart or maybe sometimes hold hands, that's it...and Niti fails to give the lost in love kind of look most of the time.
Contrast this with the first week of episodes since Manik came back. There was that kind of couple like feel to it somewhat, even without the cheat kiss and stuff.

true, when Manik came back and they shot those dream sequences, the hug was so real as though she was missing him badly.

Then when he came back for real, things had changed.

May be that I am back with 2.3M tweets showed on his attittude and Niti cld not get over it having to see that attitude every single day.

She is young and it's very diffuclt to avoid these things to get itnot her mind

totally agree..Niti lived and breathed the character Nandhini...both on and off screen..But now I only see Niti on the screen..There is no place for Nandhini..Anytime Manik comes close, she is giving such looks like..god..this guy is gonna kiss me now or what..out of frustration or like..when will this be over...Unlike earlier ...she was still out of place..but we can see that spark in her eyes ...her body language..if he is pulling..she loves to fall on him..touch his face...cup his cheeks..pull him even closer..Best of their time is the Mangalore episodes..both full on mode..in those romantic scenes..on her birthday ..under the veil..there was no kiss..but ..check on their emotions and expressions..very very delicate and finely done.

and yes. they are improving day by day. but honestly , in yesterdays episode, parth and niti did a good job in spite of the restrictions they might have put, but the scrip and direction, both seemed to be absent.

but you know what, about the relationship thing, if there is nothing betn them and they hate each others, then how come their friends are teasing them openly? remember charlie and niti's pani wala dubsmash? uttu's twitter stunt? again parth and uttu's manan wala dubsmash? then scarlett ka teasing?

Yup.. I was taken in with the feels as well. But let's think this logically. Teasing is not done only when a couple are in love or relationship. It's also done for other reasons. Probably, everyone knows that PaNi are not best of friends.. They have common friends in between. Those friends know how awkward things are for them enacting Manan. And fans are crazily waiting for Pani to happen and keep pushing on that.
So when they tease its just to yank their chain so to speak. Or troll the fans. Or raise the hype around the show also. I don't think Parth participated in any of it till recently when he commented on Uttus post. Or spoke Manan in a positive tone. Before that he would always avoid.

PS: I wouldn't use the term grudge. That's too strong a word...

Believe it or not but all of them were just trolling the shippers. PaNi shipping has become a joke I feel bad for the shippers but no one can make them understand. like you even I'm a shipper but we guys know where to draw a line but some of the shippers are extreme level shippers I'm sure uttu,Scarlet n everyone reads those IG posts by the shippers hence the trolling. But, shippers ko kaun samjhae they're still deriving PaNi feels out of it when in reality they're getting trolled.

And no more complaints against Niti from my side as she has been pretty decent in the last few episodes. But, the girl seriously needs PR lessons. On one side she openly talks about everything with her famous friend on sns and later when people speculate she becomes angry. hate comparing two individuals but here I ll compare her with Parth. Like few days back when Parth uploaded that hand holding waala pic everyone bashed him left right and centre he didn't say a word but deleted the pic. But, Niti and her friend on the other hand brought all the speculations on their own by starting a convo on a 1-2 days old pic about her so called "princess". Then get angry on fans, drag Parth's name and say her account was hacked which I never believed or will believe. Didn't want to write all this here but it has put a bad taste in my mouth. Will never forget the experience this fandom and the actors have given me lol. All this off screen drama affects the onscreen viewing too. Why can't these actors behave a little professional like they always claim to and keep their personal lives off sns atleast till the show airs. Parth has learnt it now Niti should also follow it for the show atleast.

And before people jump guns at me and think I'm a Niti hater for all that I mentioned let me clarify I still don't agree that all that shows onscreen is coz Niti's awkwardness or anything I feel it's all the writers/director's/cv's fault they don't even give her strong dialogues like in yesterday's epi she hardly had dialogues. They are not able to derive the best out of her. :/

Awkwardness analysis...brilliant title TM😊

Honestly, im pretty sure we will never get back the earlier levels of comfort.

1) Biggg issue is direction, editing and script. Nothing I can say on that , that hasn't already been said.

2) loving, hating,dating - WHATEVER their current relationship status is...Parth n Niti have let it affect their work and there is very rarely a going back from that. Niti looks like she is more affected - and Manan works only if both are at 100%. Looks like their famous 'professionalism' is out of the window.

3) Lastly, and very importantly - with the amount of offscreen drama between them and fans...and even among fan groups...things are never going to settle down. I understand love for PaNi...but reacting so extremely to every sns word, post, glance,sneeze,smile,eyebrow twitch,nose scratch...sigh,nooo yar. Even if someone wasn't awkward, they will become so. We need to leave them alone.

That said - Niti needs to also mature a little and accept tht this is the field she is in...share what u can handle reactions to. Or get someone else to handle ur accounts.

After alll the above gyaan - actually what I reallly want is to lock Parth n Niti in that goddamn store room, with two pairs of boxing gloves. Sort whatever you want, fight without interference...and bring back our Manan. After that you can be friends, frenemies, lovers, professionals...who cares?😆

why join the sns in the first place? you expose yourself to people through social media, people are gonna interfere with your personal life. disconnect and make yourself scares !

bye the way i watched and rewatched yesterday's episode and have come to the conclusion that niti is improving day by day but writers, camera direction editing...grrr

the camera was unable to catch proper expressions and was very much able to grab unwanted expressions ! direction was poor, dialogues were very less and not apt... what to say yaar. this show needs proper team ! actors alone can't do !

Am I the only person in the world who has PaNi feels but 99% of the time is assured that PaNi will never be a thing?

I genuinely believe that the fandom is just getting trolled with 'PaNi' feels given by the cast. For instance, you know when you really dislike someone you always have your friends pointing to them and saying sarcastic things like "look that's your best friend"

If PaNi were real, they wouldn't be so awkward with each other during offscreen interviews. Like Parth acts like he is bored to death and just let's Niti take over the whole interview. If they were a duo, surely some affection would be displayed in these interviews.

They never go out with each other? I obviously don't expect them go publicly share their outings because if they were dating they would keep it on a low. But fans never spot them together.

hmm...awkwardness analysis...interesting😆😛

Ok my analysis points:-

(1) Like many members mentioned here...direction, costumes, music given as bgm or songs that are played (they impact feelings too), the makeup, costumes etc.

(2) I don't think Niti is awkward around Parth or Parth is awkward around Niti. It is just that the track changed so much, the storyline...the entry of new characters (Madhyam, adoptive parents, new boss of Alya..Aryaman who came much towards end of Season 1) all this will have atleast a minor effect. Niti may have prepared herself mentally to the storyline set for Season 2. Perhaps the track may have been something with Madhyam as lead...who knows? I mean...after Parth left...even with all the MaNan memories Nandini may be shown to be moving on and finding a new love in somebody whose voice atleast reminds her of Manik ie; Madhyam. Perhaps that was why Madhyam was brought in as somebody with the voice of Manik, the same guitar playing skills as Manik and a bit of stubbornness a bit reminding of monster Manik specially when he talks to his teachers/Nyonika with sarcasm and all. Plus Fab 3 members + Aryaman+ Madhyam and Nandini...all of them offscreen had too much fun from the start and made those dubsmashes and had a great rapport. So maybe Niti was getting used to that atmosphere and suddenly re-entry of Manik and she realizes that the whole story will get re-created.

Then the whole story has to be re-made as in...putting things in such a way that Manik remains the leading man and there are MaNan scenes. Madhyam has to be sidelined to give space for MaNan scenes...Aryaman should also have a track and scenes which fits in, so what other than a rival to Manik when it comes to trying to him feeling that Aryaman is trying to replace Kabir as drummer of Fab 5 or replacing Manik himself as best friend. So the whole story was to be re-created.

The question is what to do with Madhyam and Aryaman's characters...when they started off Season 2 showing Aryaman in love with Nandini and Nandini trying to find more about Madhyam and the reasons for his loneliness and trying to be his friend???? So the director and writers have to act fast to save the show and re-incorporate Manik into the story. So suddenly Manik re-enters through a dream sequence. So Nandini starts imagining Manik. Then still Madhyam and Aryaman are there...so there should be a track with them. I mean they can't show that Manik comes in...so Madhyam jumps off a building and kills himself or he says since Manik came...my role is over tata bye bye and goes away😆 They must give a proper closure to Madhyam's character.

To put the story on track and bring Manik into it..they brought in the concert...Madhyam singing as lead...Manik arriving...not liking it. When doing these scenes suddenly...the abrupt re-entry of Parth, Niti may not have been able to express as she used to do before. I mean...if U think of KY2 season 1...atleast initial 20+ episodes were Manik-Nandini fight. It was not as if there was romantic chemistry from day 1! 😆 From fight to love is easy to enact...from love to more love is tough to enact!😆

The romantic chemistry increases...with intimate scenes..scintillating bgms and scenes that brings them closer. They are actors and cannot switch suddenly...they need to feel the emotions and enact them. I mean Parth is a very focused actor (Niti herself said so in one of her interviews and Niti is more distracted and her mind flie around here and there😆 as Parth himself stated and Niti also silently agreed to it) so maybe he is great at doing it as in one moment itself falling into the track and enacting with full focus. But for Niti..maybe it takes time for her to get into her role now and the feeling to express exactly. But I can see that she is trying hard.

If we take Season 1..things were in a flow. It was start and she was mentally prepared. Niti had it fixed in her mind that yes Parth is the leading man..so first act as if she is afraid of him...then act as if she is half-afraid of him...half rebellious...then act as if she is willing to bear anything to protect her friend...then half of the charge was taken over by Parth...as in the scenes where he makes her spot girl and all...and then the director put the romance slowly on track. If we take the point at which the romance started...we can almost say it is from the storeroom scene. But before that...we can't completely say that it was romance as it was just an attraction and awkwardness due to intimacy. 😉 Now count that episode where there was atleast the romantic feel in the scene? It was episode 33 or 34! Till then they didn't look at each other with even a bit of attraction feel! 😆

Then after that romance started building up...Nandini drunk and Manik taking her home...was the next interesting scene before romance started actually..when Manik started caressing her and she was reacting to that too and him trying to remind her of what she said in drunk state of being his star. From there music+caressing (tucking hair behind ears...etc) started 😆

From there...the diwali episode..where they both are in bed, his hands were all over her...and the kiss on neck and almost about to kiss lips. (Note: the romance was happening in a flow onscreen not out of the blue) Then she asks ...but Alya? So Manik realizes she has attraction to him. Then the scenes after that when he keeps on trying to pull Nandini to various corners and asking her of what is on her mind? What she feels of him? That is when romance started blooming from Nandini's side. So we can say that it's from 37 or something...that cake scene...and note it that its after Manik-Alya breakup!😛 So till then Manik and Nandini didn't have a romance going.😆

Now if we take season 2..Manik's re-entry (as in the non-bhootwaali Manik) was in episode 32...now the episode number is 47. Just 17 or 18 episodes hi hue Manik ko aaye. Just one episode ago..Madhyam quit, giving scope for more MaNan scenes. 😆 Maybe that's why they showed more MaNan romance..till now Nandini is shown to be worried about Manik-Madhyam and Manik-Aryaman faceoffs. 😆

If in Season 1...it took 30+ episodes for Parth and Niti to completely enact romance naturally..from hate to love...which was portrayed in a flow...then in Season 2..they should get atleast another 30+ episodes to reach to that point na?? I mean...from love to more love is tougher job. They reached the pinnacle of romance in the jamming scene😆 Now from that pinnacle...sexual tensions are over between them and they are cool around each other...no more awkward and so they can show the natural sort of love as in holding hands etc. The new addition is touching bare waist...which looks a bit ehm ehm..☺️ If they had problems...would Niti allow director to put it in such a way that Parth can touch her bare full waist?😆

For gods sake guys..they are not robots or ceiling fans ke switch on...those old expressions and romantic gazes and switch off...friendly looks etc. They need time to get into the feel..and their offscreen intimacy should also return to as before. What they need is more time and what we need is more patience...let them what they are making...atleast they are trying hard. Let us wait to see what's in store. Maybe in another 10 episodes or so...the old MaNan magic will return!😳
