Chapter-3After sometime Nandini woke up from her slumber and the 1st thing she saw was Manik next to her sleeping holding her close. It was a blissful sight for her. She knew that she loved him immensely but she didn't know how to express her feelings. There was too much inside her.
Life was a roller coaster ride for her. Her family was not the one who shared a happily ever after relation with her. Maybe it would have been but things took a drastic change when her father died. Her mom always adored her brother, Rohan but she hardly took care of her. And her brother was so much in to his life that bothering about her was his least priority.
Gradually she became alone and she made her teddy as her friend. Surprisingly she didn't have any friends in school either. Her behavior was something that was not normal. So she became a love deprived child and that affected her the most. It was not that she was mad or she was behaving psychotic but her actions were not usual. She was sensible but not mature. Maybe that's where the problem lied and her family misunderstood her and called her mental. She still remembered the day when she met Manik for the first time. He was a complete stranger to her. She somehow knew it that it was not safe to go with him but at that situation there was no any alternative for her except trusting him. She felt protected in his arms when she hugged him. She somehow knew, probably her intuition it was but it was clear that if she can trust anyone blindly than it is him. He tried to get her back to her family but things did not go the way he probably had thought. He got to know that her family will never understand her innocence and when he found no way out he began to protect her.
Nandini calmly looked at his face and gently caressed his cheeks.She still remembered how he was always there by her side-giving her chocolates, milkshakes, flowers, ballons, teddys.he even used to play with her. Sometimes he would run madly in the home just to catch her. And sometimes he had to search whole house to find her. Nandini never saw him getting annoyed but. It's was a rare view. She used to be so afraid after all things happened in her life so she always clinged to Manik. At times MAnik would skip office just for her because somehow tears formed in her eyes with the thought of leaving him. Manik made an excuse always to her of buying her teddy and come back when he returned from the office and calm her. He would make sure she slept and then only he would leave. But most of the times she would wake up and after not seeing him around she would cry like an idiot kid. So finding no way Manik shifted most of his work to his house.
Nandini smiled remembering all her past days. God had blessed her definitely because she found Manik; a mate who loved her immensely and cared for her. Nandini was still caressing his face so Manik woke up and found her staring at him with so much love in her eyes. He felt so blessed to have her and he gently kissed her knuckles. She smiled a bit and laid down hugging him tight.
