Manik & Nandini - Stars & Fireflies 110

She was the morning dew which he wanted to feel and he was the first drop of rain she wanted to get drench every moment. Their love was scarlet; a cherished love song that was sung was their hearts beating as one.

"Manik!" Nandini screamed or maybe took it out as a prayer and he turned back and sighed. He found himself breathing again, alive again; it was mere few hours they didn't see or spoke to each other but it felt decades for them. She was in tears; tears of happiness that he there waiting for her and he felt relief that she came back home to him. They both ran to cover the short distance between them and flung into each other's arms; forgetting the world. Forgetting everything around them, nothing and no one existed except they and their love engulfed in each other's warmth soaking in the love.

They broke the hug after what seemed like an eternity. "Manik!" Nandini whispered but before she could complete Manik whispered don't ever stay that far from me." Kissing her madly all over her face. His lips were not willing to leave her skin for a minute as if he feared she would vanish the moment it would leave her. He wiped her tears and took her lips for a slow kiss. There was no lust or an urge to get into her but the need to feel her presence with her. He kept on sucking her soft lips as she held on to him holding her heart in hand.

Suddenly she opened her eyes and she saw Cabir facing his back towards them. Nandini pushed Manik away who in confusion raised his eyebrows to ask "what?" "Ca. Cabir." Nandini stammered as she was by now turned red. She got so carried away in emotions on seeing Manik after a long time that she forgot people aound her but when reality hit her all she could do was blush and think of running away.

"I didn't see anything Nandini." Cabir said as usual in a funny tone to embaress Nandini even more who hid herself behind Manik blushing profusely all the while. "chup baith saale." Manik rolled his eyes as he dragged Nandini to terrace. "are main toh chup hi tha. Saara action toh tum dono hi kar rahe the." Cabir chuckled again and Nandini hid herself in Manik's embrace while Cabir continued "Waise Nandini I never thought you too will become like Manik so early one track." Manik rolled his eyes and slightly hit a laughing Cabir who was having fun at the love bird's expense.

Later at the dinner table Nandini noticed Cabir wanted to ask something and sensing his hesitation Nandini took the initiative and replied "Navya theek hai Cabir and she was asking about you. She is very concerned about you and cabir she is sorry too." Cabir had a sarcastic smile and replied "yeah sure she is sorry." Manik too joined him and said "yeah first destroy everything you love and then say sorry. Wounds on soul don't heal so easily."

Nandini shook her head and said "I agree guys but still don't you realize that you guys are fighting too hard with yourself." Both of them looked at her with surprise and she smiled and continued "you both are trying to be angry on the women you both are madly in love with. Cabir why don't you forgive Navya and accept her you know you love her and her pain it hurts you more than her." She then turned to Manik and said "and you trying to hate DJ, like really Manik admit it she is the most important person for you; you secretly wish for her; pray for her but your egos are big here. If Manik and I can find our way back to each other then why can't you guys." Nandini walked off leaving the boys thinking.

"maybe Nandini is right?" cabir said or rather asked Manik. Manik shook his head and said "Nandini is right Cabir but I can't forgive DJ. I promised her my silence and I will reward her with it." Manik said in a dejected tone and walked off. "where are you going?" Cabir asked . "I will be back soon Nandini ko bol tension na le." And Manik walked off leaving Nandini distraught as she was listening to their convo.

Cabir was sitting fiddling with his phone when Nandini came with his meds. "Talk to her Cabir. I know you want to. Just giver her and your heart a chance." He faintly smiled and took meds and said but what about Manik?" and maybe for the first time Nandini was clueless; she didn't knew how to fix his broken heart. She looked at the stars and sighed. "leave it to time Nandini." Cabir said "there comes a point when too much trying spoils the things more and the best choice would be to leave it to time; its just been few days, give him time to sort things in his brain and heart. He is hurt, broken and I guess no one knows it better than you the time it takes to get that back. There's no switch to it its feelings Nandini." Nandini smiled and bid him good night.

Nandini was standing on the terrace of Manik's bedroom looking at sea; reflecting on life that changed so much in past few months and how her always has been a roller coaster life. Her amma and appa who now exists in her memories faintly; she can't feel them now around her like they are really gone; all these memories brought tears to her eyes and then Manik flashed before her eyes and a smiled played instantly. If she was upset with her god for taking her parents away from her she was thankful to the same god for giving her manik; her guardian angel whose love had passion of a lover, care of a mother and posessivness of a father. She felt complete with him.

Her chain of thoughts were broken when she felt his passion, care and posessivness embracing her from behind. Manik kissed her hairs and mumbled a faint sorry for walking out on you.' Nandini turned a little planting a soft kiss at the edge of is lips and said "and I am sorry for forcing things on you. I promise I won't force you from now on to do things that you don't wanna do. Take your time manik and I am always there with you forever." She veered herself and turned facing him and continued "and remember some forevers are bigger than anyforever."

Manik had no words to sum up his feelings so he decided to show them by action; he pulled her close to him and kissed; he sucked her lower lip forcing her to part and soon entered her mouth. He sucked, explored, bit and nibbled every corner of her mouth pouring all his love while all she did was stood there surrendering herself to him and his love. She dug her fingers in his hair at the nape of neck moaing hard.

Finally after rendering them both breathless Manik broke the kiss and took her in his arms and made his way to the bedroom. He hovered on her shadowing her after laying her on the bed. He kissed her neck, her earlobe, her cleavage all so ever softly like butterfly kissing a flower. He undressed them both and covered them with the blanket and took the kissing game to the next level. Tonight he wasn't wild but gentle and smooth. He made her maon when he kissed every corner of her body worshipping it. He made ask for more when he teased her with his lips, he made her giggle in pleasure as his fingers travelled up and down her silky skin and finally he occupied her with all his might taking her and him both into the throes of passion and love.

It was a lovely morning. The sun was still breaking across the horizion spreading its first rays when Nandini woke and did not find Manik by her side. She looked in the washroom he wasn't there. She checked terrace he wasn't there too. "where did he go early in the morning. Uff yeh larka." She was pissed by now and got down and when she saw shook the ground beneath her. Manik Malhotra was carrying tray with coffee and breakfast; Nandini stood there frozen at her place with eyes widened and jaws dropped to touch the floor.

"Manik!" her voice was rather stuck in her and all that came out was air. "What are you looking at like that I took help from badi maa." Manik boasted as he dragged Nandini for the breakfast. "thanks manik." Nandini planted a kiss on his cheek leaving manik all aww and blushing. "waise why are you up so early?" Nandini came to the point. Manik made a puppy face and said "every morning you leave me and run off as if I am one night stand so." But before he could say more Nandini burst out laughing.

After laughing for some good couple of minutes which invited glares from Manik, Nandini steadied her breath and said "Manik you know na I have work at Malhotra Mansion and how that is important for me. So please na ladoo." She said cupping his face. But Manik being Manik how can he let her win "no you are not going anywhere today. Call mansion and tell you are not coming today. They can manage without but I can't. Nandini I don't want to repeat yesterday." Manik's honest request made Nandini melt and she agreed.

As they sat in the terrace sipping their tea and enjoying each other's company Manik got a text. As soon as he saw the next his expressions changed. "Nandini I think you should go." He said leaving Nandini puzzled. "what Manik abhi you were saying don't go and now go. What's going on." Manik looked ere and there trying to llok for an excuse and said "what yaar Nandini ek toh I am helping you in being good and dedicated employee and you are blaming me. Now no arguments go gey tready and leave." And without giving any chance to Nandini he made her get ready and saw her off in a cab to Malhotra Mansion. As soon as Nandini's cab pulled out a black car pulled in leaving Manik all excited. A lady came out of the car and asked Manik "shall we?" and Manik nodded in a yes and got in her car and soon they drove off.
