BECOMING MY STRENGTH
Only in weakest phase of our life we find someone who gives us infinite strength
(Soon after ManBir left, Navya too left for her room, after she left Nandini was only thinking about what happened few minutes back, flashback of Manik tickling her and then both of them falling on the bed coming too close to each other were just playing in her mind, She was not able to figure out what was happening to her why was she not able to stop him, Leaving all this confusion aside she decided to get ready for college as she was getting late.)
(SPACE ACADEMY- 9:00am)
(FAB5 JAM ROOM)
(Everyone along with NavNi were in Fab5's JAM room. CaVya told everyone about Manik and Nandini's new friendship.)
MUK (teasing) - Wow guys!!! Kal u both were after each other's neck and now suddenly friends and all... Aisa kya hogaya kal-kal mein, did we miss something!
(Both Manik and nandini were looking at each other with smiles on their faces.)
CAB - Manik Mukti ne tujhse kuch pooch rahi hai Nandini nahi so stop staring at her.
(After listening to Cabir both MaNan start looking here and there while Manik was giving angry glares to Cabir.)
AL- Guys this calls for celebration.
CAB - I agree. We should celebrate our new friendship with each other. Kyun Manik?
M- Ya offcourse. We shouls celebrate ...My Place???
NAV- Haan bahut mazza aayega.
N- Sorry guys I can't come! Actually I have a meeting and it would possibly get over at 8. So???
M (sighed) - Nandini not again! Hamesha kaam kaam karti rehti ho.
N- Manik but???
DHR- Guys guys ...I have solution! Nandini will get free by 8 and hum kaunsa school kids hain jo 5'o clock party karenge! Nandini would get free by 8 and we'll meet by 9 at buddy's place!
AL- Aww! Baby ...It's perfect.
CAB- Ya he has got a point. So Nandini is it okay with you now?
NAV- Nandu ab toh koi problem nahi honi chahiye, Please say yes!
N- Okay okay guys. The party is onn!
(Manik was about to say something when they heard an announcement for everyone to be present for their class. And they all headed towards to attend the class)
{CLASS ROOM - 11:00am}
(ManBir, Dhrulia and NavNi were sitting together and Mukti was sitting alone.)
RAG- Hello everyone! I'm Raghav Roy your music teacher. So ...We have lots of fresh faces this year. So for today we will start with a small exercise to know each one of your's talent. What all of you have to do is to sing in pairs.
(As soon as Raghav said that they have to sing, Nandini became nervous and held Navya's hand tightly.)
RAG - So we will select partners through chits. I have all the boys names written here one by one all girls will come, pick chits and announce their partner's name infront of all.
N (tensed)- Navya main nahi gaa sakti. You know na kitne saal ho gaye I was never able to. What should I do?
NAV (console her) - Nandu tum bahut accha gaati ho. Tum zaroor kar paogi. Think about your family. Tumhe unke liye yeh sab karna hoga. Don't worry tum yeh kar sakti ho.
(One by one all girls went and picked up the chits and the pairs were Mukti&Cabir, Dhruv&Alia, Navya& an unknown boy. And last was nandini who picked up the chit. She opened the chit and was shocked to see the name written on it.)
RAG- Who's it Nandini?
N (shocked) - MANIK MALHOTRA!!!
(As soon as Manik heard his name his happiness knew no bounds. He was too excited to sing with her. In morning when he heard her her voice was so magical and know he had to sing with her.)
RAG- Wow ...Our very own rockstar. All the best!! So everyone now you guys have 1hr to prepare your song, go anywhere you want to and be back within an hour after preparing youselves.
(Now Nandini was beyond nervous, she was indeed worried, horrified, tensed as first she has to sing infront of everyone and secondly she has to sing with Manik who himself is a rockstar. As soon as Raghav finished she just ran out of the class leaving everyone hell shocked specially Manik.)
M- Isse kya hua?
NAV- Jiska darr tha wohi hua! Manik mujhe nahi lagta woh gaa payegi!
M (confused)- Navya subhah to itna accha gaya tha usne achanak kya hua ?
CAB- Manik Nandini ne 3 saal se kisi ke saamne nahi gaaya. Woh to music almost chod chuki thi agar Navya usse force nahi karti to continue singing she would have stopped long back. And aaj tak pichle itne saalon se she always used to sing alone.
(Manik was numb listening to all this. He never expected her to be like this. He did'nt knew what to do, he now knew that there is something which is bothering her but he didn't knew what was that but he to wanted her too continue singing as she was magic her voice was so soothing so mesmerizing. )
NAV- Cabir hum usse dekh kar aate hain!
M- Navya tum ruko main usse dekh kar aata hoon, she would do this!
NAV- Manik tum pakka usse handle kar loge na !
M- Haan. You don't worry! I'll handle her.
(Saying this manik left the room to search for Nandini. Manik was searching here everywhere but there she was no where to be found. As he was finding her, he suddenly stopped and thought for a while. Now he knew where she would be, He quickly ran towards the place. )
{TERRACE - SPACE ACADEMY}
(And yes ...He was right, here she was sitting in a corner sobbing silently. Although Manik was shocked seeing her like this and more than shocked he was hurt seeing her like that. He quietly came and sat beside her. He observed her for few minutes, her eyes were closed and tears were flowing constantly from her eyes.Aftersome time he took out a hankerchief and said)
M- Yeh lo.. Wipe your tears. Nahi toh college me tsunami aa jayegi.
N- Manik tum kab aaye? (Wipes her tears)
M- Jab tum flashback dekh rahi thi
N- What!!
M- Ya ...Jab you were going back to all the bad times u have gone through and u were shedding tears.
N (a bit shocked) - Tumhe kaise pata?
M (to lighten-up the mood) - Don't you knw friends know each other!
N- Manik I am not in a mood. Please leave me alone.
M (concerned and took her hand in her hand) - Nandini...See I don't know what happened with u in ur past, but u know what "it's past" it cannot be changed, so all we can do is to make it our strength and move on. Nandini u are a wonderful singer ur voice is magic and u have to sing for the ones u love and for the ones u love.
(By the time Manik finished Nandini tightly hugged Manik and again started sobbing.)
N (sobbing)- Manik...I can't ...main nahi gaa sakti. I just can't...Jab bhi I see people around me I just can't sing. You know Manik jab amms thi na tab whenever I used to sing she was infront of me and through eyes she always used to say nandu u can do it. Manik I always try to find her infront of me but when I don't see her I somewhat can't sing.
M- Nandini...Ssshhh...Bas stop crying (Manik caressed her hair and lifted her head) Nandini look... You have to sing for your Amms, Nandini you know why are u not able to sing because you always try to find your Amms infront of ...ya it's true...Whenever u sing na always try to find her within you and then you see u'll rock n roll.
(After listening to Manik, Nandini again hugged him and said)
N- Manik I'll sing...I'll sing for Amma-Appa, Amms and...YOU!!
(As soon as Manik heard for u from her mouth he held her more tightly, he felt very happy when she said that she wanted to sing for him.)
M (breaks the hug) - Chalo Nandini we have to go. It's your time to shine.
N - Manik par hum gayenge kya?
M- Nandini do you trust me?
(Although Manik was himself not sure whether she would trust him or not but he didi ask her.)
N- Offcourse ...I TRUST YOU MANIK...but!!
M- Now when you trust me ...just believe in me and come.
(Nandini nodded her head started walking towards the exit of terrace.)
M- Nandini stop!
(Nandini turned and walked towards him.)
N- Manik! Ab kya hua?
M (pointed towards nandini's face)- Nandini there is something wrong with you!!
N (touched her face)- Manik tum kya keh rahe ho!! What is wrong?
M- I don't know but something is not right.
(Nandini was just checking herself from top to bottom when suddenly Manik went behind her and started tickling her.)
N (laughing)- Mm...aanik !!! Manik what are you doing!!Aah stop..
(Manik kept on tickling her and then after sometime stopped and just watched her laughing whole heartedly and then said pointing towards her face.)
M- See this was missing from your face!!
(Nandini understood what he meant and said)
N- Thanks Manik
M- Anytime Nandini! Chalo ab we are getting late.
(Both of them went back to their class and sat together and listened to all the other performances that happened. Soon it was their time to start so Manik help Nandini's hand assuring her that everything will be fine and took her with him to the stage. Manik looked into Nandini's eyes and sang.)

(Manik sand looking into Nandini's eyes as if asking her to never leave him, telling her that she has changed his life and is making it peaceful by just her mere presence around him.)

(Nandini sang and then was joined by Manik too. Nandini was mesmerized by his voice. Unintentionally she started singing all by herself and then later was joined by Manik too.)

(Nandini sang as if telling him that in his arms she feel protected, telling him that he is her solace, telling him that he is her only wish.)

(Manik sang remembering his past and sang as if assuring himself that this is forever. That he & Nandini are meant to be forever.)

(Nandini closed her eyes and sang as if assuring herself that Manik will be there for her, with her always and while singing this silent tears of happiness started forming in her eyes.)

(As soon as the song finished everyone stood up and started clapping and hooting, there was constant sound of clapps and whistles in the class.)
RAG- Amazing performance guys! Fabulous... First time anyone of us would have heard such a beautiful voice complementing Manik's voice flawlessly. Nandini you were amazing.
(All this while our MaNan were lost in their MaNan Land they were continuously looking into each others eyes, it seemed as if they were talking through their eyes. Their trance was broken by Cabir who after listening to them came on the stage and hugged Nandini. Rest of them too followed him to the stage.)
CAB (still hugging Nandini)- Nandini you were amazing, I mean u were out of the world. (Broke the hug) Pagal ladki u were getting worried, see how flawless you were.
(He pointed towards the entire class who were still standing and clapping for them. Nandini for the first time noticed everyone standing and clapping. She was indeed very happy. Then she looked towards Manik who was still looking at her, through eyes she thanked him and with this he smiles more brightly. After a lot of appraisals and wishes everyone was busy talking to each other Nandini slowly sneeked out of the class room and again went to terrace.)
N (to herself) - I sang!!!! I was able to sing. Manik was right that Amms is within me ...But all this while I was singing I was just looking into his eyes. Aaiappa Why is this boy affecting me too much? Why when he is around I feel safe, I feel as if no one will hurt me, No one will leave me! Aaiappa will he too leave me?
(As she blabbering all this to herself she felt someone's presence around her. She quickly turned around and what she saw was enough to give her shock.)
