(As she blabbering all this to herself she felt someone's presence around her. She quickly turned around and what she saw was enough to give her shock.)
(The person there was none other than Cabir&Mukti, their expressions showed that they overheard all her conversation that she did to her aaiappa. She turned her back towards them and tightly shut her eyes not knowing what to say to them.Cabir and Mukti came towards her. Three of them were standing in a line with Nandini in middle.)
CAB- Tum sahi soch rahi ho Nandini we heard your conversation with your aaiappa, but you don't need to feel shy or embarrassed.
MUK -Yes Nandini, even we are your friends just like navya. So you can talk to us about any xyz thing...(Listening this nandini smiled a bit.) Even about Manik. And waise bhi hamara as in FAB5 ka track record in friendship is not that bad.
N- Thanks Mukti Cabir...You are wonderful friends anyone can have. (helplessly says) But the thing u want me to share with u, I myself is very unaware about it. It's hardly two days since I met Manik but this strange feeling within me is so damn confusing. Cabir u know me just like Navya in&out, I'm just afraid to let anyone come close to me...I just can't...
CAB (assuringly) - Nandini relax... I'm not saying you to trust Manik overnight, if I and Mukti want we can tell you about him but
MUK- But we will not tell you Nandini... Nandini you need to know him youself, just the way Manik is trying to know you, isn't he!
N- Ya but Mukti, this feeling...I m afraid to let anyone come to me, I'll loose him too.
MUK- Nandini zindigi mein jab hum se sab kuch chinn jaata hai na tabhi we need to fightback to get the thing we deserve.
CAB- Nandini and this feeling you are talking about, you'll get to know about it when you will give yourself a chance...Yes a chance to live, a chance to believe a chance to hope for good.
(Nandini emotionally hugs both of them)
N- Thanks guys...Thanks for showing me the way...
CABTI- Anytime Nandu...
N (confusingly)- By the way tum dono ko kaise pata that I'm on terrace?
CAB- Manik ne! He was coming to meet you only
MUK (pissed off)- But exact moment par usse Neyonika ne bula lia! Perfect timing h uski.
(Cabir looks at Mukti and through eyes tells her to stop.)
N- Neyonika?? Who is she!
CAB- Nandini Neyonika is Manik's mom and owner of SPACE.
N- OH!!
MUK - Nandini chalo it's already 3 ... We have a party tonight and lot's to prepare for!
(Three of them stepped out of the terrace and were walking down the stairs, when Nandini said)
N- Guys tum log chalo I'll come mujhe kuch kaam h
CABTI- ohkay ...cool...par jaldi aana.
(With this CabTi left and Nandini headed towards Neyonika's cabin as she thought Manik will still be there. Nandini soon reached outside her room and just as she was outside the cabin she heard Manik's voice. So she thought she should wait for him to come so she sat on the nearby bench. After 10 minutes Manik came out fuming in anger, he did not saw Nandini sitting there and angrily kicked the plant pot kept on the otherside of the cabins door.
When Manik was doing all this Nandini was just observing him, she was too numb to react to it, as she has seen his anger before but has never thought that it would even get this worse. She slowly silently approached towards Manik, his back was towards her, she put her hand on his shoulder, but as soon as she did so next moment Manik turned and pinned her to the wall and was about to punch her.
Nandini was afraid and palmed her face and screamed Manik.)
N (her hands on her face and eyes closed) - Manik!!! Manik it's me Nandini.
(Manik immediately realized what he was upto and immediately backed-off a little, he calmed himself a bit and then moved his hands towards her hands which were still on her face due to fear. He slowly touched her hands and removed her hands from her face and said.)
M - Nandini open your eyes.
(Nandini opened her eyes and saw that Manik's eyes were bloodshot red and tears were about to flow from them any moment. Seeing such a vulnerabale side of him even she was broken. She slowly cupped his face with her hands and said.)
N (worriedly) - Manik!!! Please don't cry. (By the time she said this tears had started flowing from his eyes, she quickly wipes them and says) Manik I'm fine see. Tell me kya hua! What happened...I'm here na please tell hua kya hai...I'm there for u, u know na tum mujhse kuch bhi keh sakte ho.
(Manik was only able to say one word... "Nandini". Nandini did not know what to do, then she realized that they were still outside Neyonika's cabin and said.)
N- Manik don't worry main hoon na! Chalo yahan se. Come!
(Nandini held Manik's hand and took him behind the music wing at staircase. She made sit on stairs and sat beside him. She took out her water bottle from her bag and said Manik to drink water. Manik drank water and then she said.)
N (worriedly) - Manik you are okay now!
M (fake smile) - When I have such a good friend, what can happen to me! I am absolutely fine. Woh I just had a small tiff with Neyonika.
N (to lighten-up the mood) - Wow Manik!!!! Like seriously!! I did'nt expected this from you!
M (confusingly) - What!!
N- What "what"? Like seriously I never expected that the great THE MANIK MALHOTRA does not know how to lie! I mean this should be written in guinese book. Hai na Manik!!
(Manik was shocked as well as happy that she has started knowing him so well.)
M- Impressive! Nandini Murthy knows how to read minds!
N- Manik! Please don't change the topic. Tell me what happened! (Manik was about to say something but before that Nandini interrupted him and said) And if you are thinking that "Nandini is already messed up with her life I can't tell her, she would get tensed and feel bad" ...and blah blah blah!!! So don't you dare think about it and now speak up kya hua? Did your Mom said something to you?
(MANIK'S POV)
(God this girl yaar! How does she know ki main kya soch raha hoon. What is she doing to me uff... Wait a second! What did she say Mom!)
(Manik rested his head on her shoulder and said)
M (sadly) - She is not a mom Nandini... She has always been Neyonika...Money making machine for her I am nothing...i'm noting just a mistake...Nandini my dad left me and neyonika when I was 13yrs old, nandini uss din I did'nt lost my dad I also lost my maa... Tab se ab tak Neyonika has only hated me created diificulties and troubles for me... And moreover her I hate her I hate her to the core of my heart. Jab I needed my maa the most she only abandoned me, she just left me with the servants and gave me a credit card so that I can by happiness for myself...
(Nandini was listening to him silently, she forgot her pain when she listened to the pain he has gone through.She just could'nt imagine that the person who always shows everyone his smile, his anger, his aggressiveness was indeed masking his pain, his sadness, his lonliness. As Manik finished speaking Nandini slowly composed herself from not crying, held his hand and said)
N (assuringly)- Manik main kabhi nahi soch sakti thi that u would have gone through so much in your life. Main woh time wapis nahi laa sakti aur na hi woh pain aur akelepan hata sakti hoon but you know I can promise one thing!
M - Kya?
N- That aaj ke baad you will never be alone, main tumhare pain, tumhara past kabhi nahi mitta sakti but all I can do is to blur it. Yes I will staywith you hamesha and see ek saari burri yaadein na dhundli ho jayengi.
(With this Nandini gently kissed Manik's forehead and within no time Manik pulled her into a brone crashing hug. He hugged her so tightly that it was hurting her but she did'nt said anything as she know this is the only way she could calm him so she responded back with equal favour.)
M (sadly) - Nandini even I wanted the same...even I wanted to with you ...But I can't! Sorry I have to go.
(Nandini was shocked listening to this she wasn't really expecting something like this from him...As a matter of fact deep down her heart this was the only thing she never wanted to hear from anyone.)
SORRY Guys I know you all were not really expecting something like this ...But trust me you all will love it...Just see it's quite different but that's what makes it a memorable one. Right???
