Well said😆

It's not about what we want them to do...it's about how. A dance was so much more than a dance with Manik n Nandini, a hug was more than a hug, a look more than a look. It wasn't about cheesy dialogues and forced smiles that don't reflect in their eyes. Romance is not about just being in the same scene together and pulling n smiling. With them, it was about something as simple as how they looked at each other, how they reacted to each others words n touch...they gravitated towards each other.

Fix the acting, fix the direction, fix the dialogues.

Simple no?😉

He has still not realised what his absence has done to her and he is gradually realising it when she tells him that he can't leave her even for a minute and she wants to do minutest of things with him and enjoy which is as small as just a dance with him and we see that awe in his eyes.

CVs are trying very hard to create a triangle, that is irksome.

Was there passion during reunion? Only random angst n reunion was thrown at our face in succession!

Passion isn't about pulling her closer always! It's only repetitive n boring! Moreover they're meeting after 4 months after their consummation! Shouldn't there have been more emotions now? n then slowly subsided to normalcy? There's a huge disconnect in the story line itself..so even the lovely scenes of MaNan aren't helping fully!

Yes I have read that telly chakkar article too. But at the moment all we can do is, sit and hope that it doesn't happen.

P. S. Sometimes I feel that TC wants that track desperately, they have posted such articles so many times that we have actually stopped giving heed to it now.

Okay, don't kill me...but I actually think memory loss or some shit like that may just be the kickstart this chemistry issue needs. Think about it - parth n niti were always at their sizzling best when showing a couple that wants to be together but can't...
Yes, memory loss is very cliched...but at this point I really can't think of anything the CVs can show to get some emotion in the relationship. They had a perfect chance during Manik's reentry which they missed. So now, unless we see a forced Manan fight due to Aryaman or Maddy...which would be mehhh...we'll have to live with a diluted, oomphless Manan.

Perhaps like the way..Nandini is looking at Manik..here...

and the way Manik is looking at Nandini here...

They had sparks in their gaze...in this sort of scenes

Ya..surely the confession scene...episodes 195 and 196...were really magical...I felt a lot of romance there...except if the pandit had not kidnapped her!😆

If we take Parth and Niti...they are the same actors who (even when they were rumored to be having little fights) showed an amazing chemistry onscreen. I think that the direction style...portrayal of the characters is a bit different in Season 2.

Maybe the things like Manik tucking Nandini's hair behind her ears...the way he used to trace her fingers up and down her hand or trace his fingers down her cheeks or upto her forehead and then tucking her hair behind her ears...and the way Nandini reacted to all of that...was part of MaNan in Season 1. Surely one of the most magical scenes..I felt was the one where Manik and Nandini were lying on the sofa after the confession and the way she was writing "I❤️U" on Manik's palm and the way Manik was looking at her...I don't know..but I felt the whole confession scene very magical. Same with the first confession scene of Manik...that whole Zehnaseeb song and it maybe the look of Nandini in that scene...it was magical.

Now I think maybe they can't show that magical chemistry as from the point of proposal etc. Now they can show more scenes where Manik and Nandini act like a normal couple. Perhaps that is what they want to show in Season 2😳

EXACTLY...it's those little touches that elevated the entire thing!!
And let's be honest...do we really watch KYY for a 'normal couple' situation all the time? 😆

Yes, that should have happened, I have criticised the reunion on various posts when it was shown. And what you are talking about passion, I completely agree with you. And again I would like to mention that for me Manik's passion is show cases in the fact that he wants to spend time with her and is possessive about her. But I am disappointed with Nandini because she hasn't really shown the right kind of emotions, before Manik came she was such a wreck and now she is so taking him for granted. And I blame the director for that.

And I don't think that the anger that Manik show cased was random. It was Nandini who was disappointing, because she just saw him and ran towards him, she was hallucinating, why didn't she first become cautious and touch him with shivering hands first to make sure that he is actually there.

See, I agree that it's a bumpy road with the new director and the new cvs. What I want to know is, what do you want them to do now, so that they can rectify it. Do you think that the damage is redeemable, even the slightest?

Yes.. I want those touches and small gestures back. And about acting like a normal couple, I think that these small gestures can be a major part of that. Thanks fir bringing that up :D

No yaar.. I don't want the memory loss track, I might sound rude but I simply don't trust Karishma to do justice to MaNan moments that we have seen in season 1. She is more of a saas bahu writer

Yes..in short..the caressing part of Manik which he used to do a lot earlier and...now even if Manik pulls her towards him..but when he caresses her..she looks with regular eyes at Manik as if his touch is not making her feel anything and just give a plain friendly smile. Like this--> 😊

Added to that..the way...Nandini looks at Manik now is as if she is looking at a friend...earlier she had gaze that were like those of a fangirl! Her eyes would widen up with admiration or something of the sort for him and maybe it's coz they were almost on same level. I think maybe Nandini will need to use the high heels again. Because when they were on equal height with each other..she wouldn't be looking high up at Parth😆

They would almost be on equal level and then she can gaze as if gazing at a person a bit taller than her. Earlier Nandini's eyes used to glow and shine when looking into the eyes of Manik and he would be tracing his fingers around Nandini and pulling her closer. She would suddenly place her palm on Manik's shoulder and seeing Nandini's shocked expression...a smirk would appear on Manik's face and he would get closer and closer..till somebody jumps in at the right moment and both back off embarassed!😆😛
