CHAP 11:

Manik was sitting in conference room and everyone was paying attention to meeting. But only one person was not there who else our manik. he was thinking about last night. Everyone was looking at him cabir patted his shoulder and manik came out from his trance.

He took a deep breath and said "I am not feeling well gentlemen so I can't continue with this meeting I hope you understand" everyone nodded their head in yes only one person was confused its cabir. Because he knows manik from in and out and Manik is a very workaholic person his work is the most important in his life.

"manik are you okay?" cabir asked when manik was about to go out of the room.

"yes I am fine wo bas thoda sa headache nothing else" manik said and without giving him any chance he left from there.

Manik was sitting on his cabin his eyes were closed. He was thinking about night.
"pata nhi kya ho raha hai muje kyun main itna content feel kr raha hoon muje aisa kyun lag raha hai k kitne saalo baad aaj mere dil ko itna sukoon sa lag raha hai, muje aisa lga tha ki usse ek baar claim krne se meri sari frustration, anger sari attraction sab khatam ho jayega but ye sab aur bhi uljata jar aha hai kyun main usse dekhna chahta hoon kyun main har waqt bahane banata hoon jis se wo sirf mere pass rahe kyun main usse har waqt apne samne rakhna chahta hoon kyun jab bhi usse hurt krta hoon muje usse zyada hurt hota hai o god this girl has power to make me crazy"

Manik came out from his trance when his phone rang. He saw it was nandini. So he cut the call but nandini again call him he again cut the call. Nandini again call him and He picked up the call and said "what the hell agar koi phone cut kr rha hai to iska matlab hai k wo busy hai samaj nhi aati ye baat tumhe"

Nandini closed her eyes in fear but she composed herself and said "sorry manik wo maine aapko is liye call kiya tha ki k aap lunch mein kya lenge?" manik said "no muje ku6 nhi chahiye so plz ab call mat krna I am busy" he cut the call and start his work so he can distract himself.

After sometime nandini came to his office and went to his cabin. She opened the door and saw that he was sleeping on chair. Nandini knocked door and manik opened his eyes and saw her and said "what are you doing here?" nandini put the Tiffin box on the table and said "wo..wo aap ne lunch nhi kiya tha to main lunch lekar aayi hoon manik" manik furiously came to her and pinned her to near wall and said "main jis ke liye mana kru wo baat krna zarrori hai maine bola tha k I don't want to eat anything"

"lekin aapne breakfast bhi nhi kiya tha a6e se to maine socha ki" she was about to say something but manik banged his hand on wall and nandini closed her eyes.

Manik looked at her and lost in her beauty and last night moments he was losing it. He was so close to her. He was about to touch her cheek but he came out from his trance and said "what you think? Tumhe lagta hai k kal raat job hi humare bich mein hua isse mein tumhara gulam hi jaunga right tumhe laga ki ab tum jo kahogi wo main karunga right but let me tell you one thing job hi kal hua tha na wo sab ek galti thi sirf galti" a lone tear escape from her eye and looked down manik raised her chin with his finger and said "ab ye natak bndh kro and get lost from here" he said and pushed her.

Nandini came out from his cabin and she was crying but she was wiping her tears and she was going when suddenly she bumped into someone. She was about to fall so she closed her eyes but two arms held her and she saw a man was holding her.

She immediately jerked his hand and straighten herself and said "thank you" that man smiled and forward his hand and said "I am varun shah and itni beautiful girl ki aankho mein tears a6e nhi lagte" nandini frowned and said "excuse me I am getting late so thank you" and she left from there. Varun smiled and went to manik's cabin.

Nandini came to their room and directly went to bathroom and sat on the floor and cried out loud. She was so happy in the morning because of the moments which they share. But manik's behavior breaks all her dream. "kya manik ke liye sab galti thi aur ku6 nhi kya mein jo feel krti hoon wo kbhi bhi feel nhi krte mere bare mein why aiyappa why always me? Am I not worthy for anyone's love?" she was crying like hell after sometime she get up and wash her face and came out and went down.

In the evening manik's all friends were present at the dining table. Everyone was having dinner and manan were avoiding each other's gaze. Mukti saw this and said "nandu ku6 hua hai kya tum dono ke bich mein?" manan looked at her with shocked expression and nandini composed herself and said "nhi aisi koi baat nhi hai" and nandini said "main aati hoon plates rakh ke" and she immediately left. Cabir said in his ears "manik what is your problem yaar? Kyun tu iske sath a6e se behave nhi kr skta kya? Kya bigada hai usne tera kyun tu usse chance nhi de skta?" manik said nothing and pushed his dish away and left angrily.

Nandini came and saw that manik was not there. His plate was full it means manik didn't touch his food. After sometime every one left. nandini also went to their room.

Nandini saw that he was doing his work and checking some papers. Nandini stand beside him and asked "aapne dinner nhi kiya main le k aau aapke liye" but manik didn't say anything and get down from bed and opened his drawer and took out his file and he was checking it. Nandini again came near him and asked "manik apke liye dinner lau?"

Manik throw the file on the floor and clutched her waist and said "tumhe bahot maza aata hai na ye sab kr ke mere friends aur meri family ke samne muje zalil kr ke, agar tumhe koi jawab dene nhi aata to tum chup nhi reh skti thi niche but nhi tumhe to ye proof krna hai na k meri biwi kitni mahan hai aur uska pati dekho kitna kharab hai jo usse aise treat krta hai right.." manik said angrily and nandini sweetly said "sorry aage se dhyan rakhungi" manik's heart melt on her sweet statement he leaned closer to her lips and he was about to kiss her when his phone rang he came out from his trance and picked up his call.

"sir good evening wo aapko batane ke liye phone kiya tha ki kal mr.varun shah ke ghar pe meeting hai so aapko yhi btane ke liye call kiya tha sir" his pa said and manik after some talks he cut the call.

Nandini looked at him and said "ab aap ke liye dinner le aau manik?" manik take a deep breath and said "tum nhi manogi na" she nodded her head in no. he said yes and nandini went down to take dinner for him.

At the same time mr.varun shah also call him and said "mr.manik wok al sham ko mere ghar me meeting ke baad meine 6oti si party rakhi hai so aap apni wife ko lekar aa jana" manik nodded and left from yhere.

Nandini was serving him food when he held her hand and said "thnx tum mere dinner layi ab mein le lunga" nandini went to bathroom to changed in night suit and she was about to sleep on the couch when he said "sleep here on bed aaj se yahi sona tum" nandini was about to say something but he cut her off and said "no arguments aur doosri baat kal sham ko party hai so be ready" nandini asked "main aapke sath?"

"jab wife ko lekar aane ko bola hai to tumhe hi lekar jaunga na" manik said and slept and nandini also slept.

Day passed like this and in the evening manan went for party. After meeting everyone was enjoying the party varun shah was looking at her. Manik saw this and he know that varun is not good. Nandini was sitting alone and manik was with cabir. varun saw this and came near her and said "are you okay?" before nandini can say something a pair of hands encircled her waist and said "baby aap akele kyun ho? Come sit with me excuse me varun" manik said and left from there.

Nandini was sitting with cabir and both were enjoying a lot. Suddenly a waiter came and juice fell on nandini's sari. She excused herself and went to washroom.

She was washing her sari someone came from behind and locked the door and nandini turned. Varun was smiling evilly and came near her. She took her steps backwards and said "tu..tum yahan kya kr rahe.ho..ho in the ladies washroom" varun traced his thumb on his dry lips and said "tumhe dekhne ku6 baatein krne ku6 tumhe dene ku6 tumse lene" nandini pushed him aside and she was about to ran when he put his feet on her sari's pallu and she gasped. Varun take her pallu in his fist and said "come on nandini try me I know manik jitna a6a nhi hoga shayad but you can try me mein utna bhi bura nhi hoon" nandini jerked her pallu and banged the door and shouting for help but in the party music was so loud so no one can hear her shout.

Varun clutched her hair in his fist and pushed her on the floor. She was bagging him and crawling backwards she was about to get up so varun put his feet on her feet she screamed in pain and varun threw his blazer away. He came on top of her he was pushing him he tore her blouse's sleeve.

Manik was searching nandini and he saw that varun also was not there. He came near cabir and said "cabir nandini muje nhi mil rhi tu dekh usse mein doosri taraf jakar usse dhundta hoon" cabir nodded. Manik was calling her when he heard some voices from washroom he ran to there.

He was pushing the door and nandini was shouting his name and door opened with bang and what he saw it made him froze at his place. nandini was crying and varun was on top of her. Nandini saw him and she pushed him with force and nandini ran to her but her pain was so unbearable she was about to fall but manik came to her and held her. Manik hugged her tightly and hide her in his arms and made her ware his blazer. she was sobbing so badly and said "ma..manik..ye..ye..me..mere sath" manik sushed her and patted her head and said "sshh..i am here na sshhh..look at me I am here jaan" he said and nandini was sobbing badly manik looked at varun and varun said "come on manik we can share main kisi ko nahi bataunga trust me" at the same time cabir came and manik passed nandini to cabir.

Manik beat him so badly. He punched In his stomach and pushed on the floor his forehead banged onto basin his forehead was bleeding nandini was hiding his face in cabir's chest and he was patting her head and he was feeling so bad for nandini because she was like his sister.

Varun was unconscious and manik called police. Nandini was shivering because of fear manik came near her and patted her hair and nandini again hugged him tightly and manik picked her up and nandini hide her face in crook of his neck. Cabir was also following them.
