PART-19 HEARTLESS...!!
Hello everyone...!!! I am back...!!! So first of all thank u to all for wishing me... and commenting ... it really means a lot... !!

It is said...'' those who once cared too much for someone... when they get hurt by that someone... they become HEARTLESS...!!'' may be this was the case with nandini... it's not she doesn't liked herself before... it's just now she is so much hurt... that she has a fear in her heart that if she will show up those emotions again... she will be hurt again... hence she decided to become heartless...!!
Abhi: use tum JEENA kehti ho...!! Nandini u are wrong...!!! Tum keh toh rai ho to let it all go...!!! But do u really think that u have let it all go...??? Do u think u have forgotten it all...?? Do u think u have forgotten HIM...??
( all of them except nandini...just looked at abhi... as abhi said this...)
After looking at abhi and being assured by his looks... they looked at nandini who was blank... no restlessness... no attack... she was simply expressionless...!!! She not even reacted for once...!!! And seeing her like that... so calm... they were shocked...!! They thought... now it really doesn't matters to her... !!! Whether he exist or not...!!
( but was it really like that... ?? Really it didn't matter her...?? Or was she still not ready to talk about him...?? So thought of avoiding... it...!!!)

They were waiting for her to react... but she never did...!! And being aggressive Mukti came in front of her... and took her hand from cabir's hand... she was so furious by now... that she literally snatched her hand... and dragged her out of her room...!! And nandini being still under the effect of drugs ... as the effect doesn't goes this easily... and plus her right hand was plastered... she was really finding it difficult to balance herself...!! But now Mukti's concern regarding her cold attitude... was more than her concern for the external wounds...!! So she was dragging nandini along with her... down the stairs...!! And the others were just following her and asking her again and again... that what is she doing ...?? Why is she doing...?? Nandini will fall...!! But Mukti just continued taking her down... and nandini was trying to resist her... but no use...!!
As Mukti dragged her out of the room... manik just hid behind the wall... nearby... and was trying to understand... what Mukti is upto...??

They all came outside her house... to the backyard... and then Mukti stopped there...!! And nandini being not able to take so much of light all together... was looking down ... tightly closing her eyes...!! Then what seemed like eternity... after staring her Mukti finally broke the silence...!!
Mukti: Nandini...!! ( holding her by her shoulders... keeping in mind about her hand...) look here...!! (Still anndini was looking down...) i said look at me... damit...!! ( then she tried to look but still was not able to take this light...)Till when u are gonna run from all this...?? Look at yourself...!! Can't u feel what u have done to urself is wrong...!!! Can't u feel u are wrong...!!! In trying to be strong... u r becoming weaker... and weaker...!! do u really think taking drugs and alcohol can make u stronger...??
Finally nandini... spoke... again that strong and weak... thing came up... which instigated her...
Nandini: yes...!! It has made me strong...!! See now nothing affects me...!! Nothing at all... ( she was saying it all in her drunken voice...) and today I am very calmly telling all of u ... not to interfere... in my life...!!! I can't feel anything... and even I don't want to feel...!!! These feelings... all is a myth...!! Every relation is a myth...!! Nothing is real...!!
As she said those lines... all of them looked at her with tearful eyes... including manik... who was standing there... hidden... !! And navya being the most emotional... among all started sobbing... and then told nandini...
Navya: please nandu...!! Please!! Esa mat karo..!! Apne saath...!! Hamare saath...!! Kab tak khud ko sazaa dogi... kab tak ese rahogi...!! Ek baar apne dil ki baat keh kar to dekho... hum hai... hum sab hai yaha...!! Tumhare dost... jo tumhe kabhi nai chod ke jayenge ...!! Please hamari pehle wali nandu ban jao...!! Jo hasti thi..!! Baatein karti thi...!!
( she said this all sobbing really hard... as if begging in front of her... for her happiness only... then cabir just held her... and hugged her to calm her down... and then looked at nandini... and said...)
Cabir: still it doesn't affect u...?? Kab tak apne dil mai sab chhupa ke rakhogi... kab tak ?? Just spit it all out what is in ur heart...!!!
Nandini: Inside the heart...! Andar toh tab hoga naa... jab dil hoga mere pass... maine kaha naa... koi faraq nai padhta... ab mujhe... I M HEARTLESS...!!! Did u heard that I am heartless... now leave... !!
Saying so... she just left from there.. to her room...!! And all were staring her... as she was leaving...!! And then abhi left behind her... as he was a doctor... for him her health was the first priority... he cannot let her get going like that...so he followed her...and all of them were just crying and crying...!! But one was there... who couldn't take this all... and just left from... there... and it was none other than manik...!!! But cabir saw him leaving so he also followed him...

Though they all were hurt... very badly hurt... by nandini's words...!! But how could they just leave like that ... so all moved inside... alya Mukti and dhruv started cleaning her house... and there navya and the care taker started making food for her ...!!! They made soup and sandwiches for her... !! They all were down doing all this... while abhi and nandini were in her room...!!

As nandini entered... she just pushed a table... which fell down... may be this has became her new way to let out all her frustration... and then she moved towards her bed... and lied down... there... in sitting position... as it was difficult for her to lie down properly because of that plaster ...
Then abhi entered... he came and saw the table on the ground... then said...
Abhi: so u said nothing affects u...!!! Then what is this...???(pointing towards the table) why this anger...?? Kyu tum bolke apna pain... apna Gussa nai bata sakti...??? Jab sab keh rae hai!! No one will judge u... no one will leave u... why don't u understand this nandini...?? Ek baar try toh karo shayad... sab theek ho jaye... shayad... kya... tum ek kadam toh badhao... hum hai... hum sab sahi kar denge...!! Bas ek kadam apni Tarah se badha ke toh dekho...!! Hum har kadam pe saath honge...!!
( Abhi assured her... again... it was not the first time in this 1 and a half yr that... anyone has said her that they will not leave her... but this time even she was melting... eventually she is a human only...!! Don't know what was new in abhi's words that she felt affected by them... was it his concern for her...??? But everyone was concerned for her... then why only his words affected... may be she felt that warmth of manik in his words... as he had seen manik craving for her... he had seen him suffering... he has seen his dedication... his love... his efforts to bring nandini back to normal... !!! And being MaNan... they are still strongly connected to each other... and abhi's words which were actually manik's feelings...were just a source to complete this connection...!!
But being the new nandini how can she so easily let herself affected by anyone... so she continued to show those cold expressions...)

All this while... as manik left... followed by cabir... they reached the Angel's villa... and manik was highly devasted looking at her state... his stupid decision has landed her in this condition... he just entered his room... on fall on his knees... and cried out loud... and cabir hugged him... to assure him that everything will be fine...!! But he himself was not sure...!!
Then manik after crying his heart out sat there itself with the support of the bed's footrest... and cabir sat near him... manik was just looking at the fireflies jar blankly which was in his hands... and cabir being not able to take his silence as now he cannot afford to loose him like nandini... by avoiding talking on the topics which hurts... he said...
Cabir: Manik sab theek ho jayega...!!! Just be strong...!!! U cannot fall weak...!!! U have to be strong for her...!!!
Manik: how cabir how...?? Maine uske saath kya kar diya...!! Did u see...?? Suna naa usne kya kaha... she said... feelings... are a myth...!! Every relation is a myth...!! Nothing is real...!! ( he was saying these words remembering her saying all this and tear drops formed at the corner of his eyes...) she who believed blindly in relations... is now saying like this...!! She feels everything is fake...!!! I thought... SHE IS STRONG...!!! SHE CAN HANDLE HERSELF...!! SHE NEVER GIVES UP...!! But I was so wrong... !! She had loved me so much that... she lost herself in finding me...!! And what I did...!! ... sometimes it feels do I really deserve her love...??? (he said it looking at cabir... as if asking him to answer his question... but before cabir could say anything the fire lies gave him the answer by glowing brightly... symbolising his true love... and cabir saw this and said...)
Cabir: Don't look at me ... look there... (pointing the jar...) u feel nandini in these fireflies naa... then see ur nandini has given the answer...!!!( he took a pause as he saw the spark in manik's eyes while looking at the jar... and then said...) Manik she said that all because she is not in her senses...!! She is just scared to believe now in any relation...

There cabir was consoling manik and giving him strength and her abhi was trying to convince nandini to give them a chance...
Abhi: nandini say something...!!! Bas ek mauka... de do...!! Ek kadam badha do... fir dekho... please for us... for urself... u say naa that u r strong...!!! Then prove it... prove that nothing affects u...!! Give us a chance...!! If nothing affects then... even we will not have an effect on u...!! (Abhi said this just to instigate her... he tried to challenge her... because for him now this was the only way...!! And it worked...)
Nandini: FINE...!!! I WILL PROVE U ALL THAT I AM STRONG...!! THAT NO ONE AND NOTHING AFFECTS ME...!! BADHAYA MAINE EK KADAM...!! I M READY ...!! BUT JUST 2 WEEKS...!! IF THEN ALSO NONE OF BASELESS THINGS AFFECTED ME THEN... U ALL WILL LEAVE ME ALONE...!!! NONE OF U WILL EVER CROSS MY PATH...!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN REMEMBER THAT...!!!
Abhi was more than happy... as 2 weeks though were not enough but still... atleast she agreed...
Abhi: I promise...!! We will set it all right... otherwise will never come in ur way...!!!
Nandini: par what will u do... haan...??? Can u bring me back that smile of mine... which now just a blur memory...???

At Angel's villa
Manik: u r right cabir... I have to be strong... !! For her... I will bring back that old nandini... I WILL BRING HER SMILE BACK...!!
( Now the talk is simultaneously going on in the Angel's villa and at nandini's place... nandini asking abhi... but the answers are of manik... talking to cabir)

Manik: I will bring her back to life...!! So that she would never feel the need to have those drugs...!!!
Nandini: can u make me believe in God again...???
Manik: I will make believe in everything which she had believed earlier...!!!
Nandini: can u take me out of this darkness...???
Manik: I will make her believe in fireflies all over again... so that they shine for her in the darkness... and light her life again... !!

(Now separately... first at nandini's place... abhi's answer to all her questions was...! NOW THAT U HAVE TAKEN A STEP FORWARD...!! WE WILL BRING BACK EVERYTHING WHICH BELONGED TO U...!! and in his mind thought' I will bring even ur manik back to u...' and there at Angel's villa cabir was happy seeing this determined manik...)

At nandini's place :
As abhi and nandini finished their talks... just then Navya entered... with food and medicines for her hand's pain... followed by the others... and then Navya made her eat her food food and to her surprise... which was a surprise for all... she ate it... without any harsh words... and then has her medicines...!! All of them... gave surprising looks to abhi... to which he showed a bright smile... which confused them more... but they thought to keep quiet for now ... and ask him later... then after having her food and medicines she instantly drifted into sleep... and abhi told them to wait outside... till he will just inject her... to decrease her drug cravings... and then he will tell them what had happened...
Abhi did not tell nandini... about the injections... just for safety... as he was not sure of her reaction to this...!!! Caressing her hair... he just left her room... and found question marks on everyone's faces... to which he replied... that LET'S FIRST MOVE BACK HOME... THEN I WILL TELL U ALL EVERYTHING...!!!

So here I end the 19th part... though started on a bad note... but the end was full of hopes...!!! So do tell me did u liked it... suggestions are more then welcome...!! Any particular scene which u liked...??? Or any scene u would like to read...??? Now I will give the next part after 28th Nov. Due my exams...!! But till then keep thinking...
Why did nandini agreed on abhi's plead...?? Manik said SHE IS STRONG...!! SHE CAN HANDLE HERSELF...!! we're his words coming in nandini's mind... in part 17...??? If yes then when did he say that earlier...??? And how did she heard him saying...??? What will be everyone's reaction on nandini's agreement for one chance ...??? And for pms please buddy me...!!!
