PART-12 STEP BY STEP...!!
Hello...!! So from now on... it's the beginning of setting everything right...!! So let's move back to the story...

At nandini's place -
As cabir came out of nandini's room he saw manik pacing in the hall... just walking all tensed... and he walked up to manik...
As soon as manik saw cabir he bombarded upon him with questions...
Manik: cabir how's she...??? Use kya hua...?? Why she wanted to jump...??
Cabir: first u tell me... what are u doing here... I told u... I told u to stay away from her ... then y are u here...??
Manik couldn't answer his question as he knew that he was wrong in coming here even after getting the warning... so cabir said... SPEAK UP DAMMIT...in high pitch but not very loud... as they were at her house... what if she hears their sounds... then manik finally spoke...
Manik: I ... I...just ...wanted... to see her once... if she is... fine or not...
Cabir: wow... u wanted to check on her whether she is fine or not... just stop with this crap... because it doesn't matter to u... because if it mattered u would have never left her to die...
Manik: I do care cabir... I really do... plz tell how's she...?? Why this all of a sudden she tried to jump...
Cabir: she is fine now... I just gave her some sleeping pills... so that she sleeps... and about her trying to jump... even I don't know... all of a sudden what happened to her... I will try to ask her tomorrow about this... for now let's move from here...

With this cabir and manik both came out... from her house... and cabir started walking... as his house was not far from hers... just a 10 mins. Walk... which he covered in 5 mins... when manik called him... to inform about nandini...
Manik saw him walking... and asked him... that he will drop him to which he just said... NO NEED TO BOTHER URSELF FOR ME... AS U ARE JUST A STRANGER FOR ME... TILL U BRING NANDINI BACK... but manik said...PLZ CABIR... IT'S ALREADY LATE... AND I WILL DROP U... JUST SIT IN THE CAR... then cabir just agreed... as saying no to manik malhotra was still a difficult task...
With this they both sat in the car... and them manik started to drive... and as he put his hand on the staring wheel ... cabir noticed a very deep cut on his hand... and there was blood spread on his hand... which clearly showed that the wound was fresh ... plus he did not bothered to clean it or do dressing... he was very well aware of his habit of hurting himself on not being able to take the mental pain... then that caring friend in him woke up...
But then he remained Mum... not wanting to show himself weak...

The drive to cabir's place was quiet except for cabir telling him the directions... and with that they reached at his house... and all this while cabir's eyes continuously landed on his hand... and not being able to stop himself more... he just coldly said... COME INSIDE ... U NEED DRESSING...
All this while manik was not looking at him... but as he said he needs dressing... he gave a confused look to cabir... on which cabir with his eyes indicated towards his hand... and that's when he noticed that wound properly... and was happy to see that concern from cabir... so he came out of the car and followed cabir inside...

Walking in he noticed the name of the house... the ANGEL'S VILLA... which they kept keeping nandini in their minds... as she was their angel...
As they entered they saw... Mukti and Navya walking in the hall all tensed and as they saw... cabir entering they were about to blast on him with questions regarding nandini... but when they saw manik entering... navya just said...WHAT IS HE DOING HERE...?? WHY HAVE U BROUGHT HIM HERE...?? And cabir said... FIRST BRING THE FIRST AID BOX... AS HE NEEDS DRESSING... and that's when Mukti and Navya checked him out... from top to bottom... where he got hurt... and then they saw cut in his hand... and navya just went to bring first aid box... and soon came back... and asked him to sit... and she herself started doing his dressing...
Cabir and Mukti just passed looks to each other asking each other through eyes... what-happened- to- her... and then manik's Hissing sound... made it all clear that she did it intentionally... to make him feel more pain... by rubbing the antiseptic vigorously... and then cabir just said ... NAVYA LEAVE... MAIN KAR LUNGA... TUM PAANI LE AAO... to avoid this situation...

They were sitting in the living room... as Cabir just completed his dressing... and then Navya finally asked again ...
Navya: ab agar... tumhari samaajh seva ho gayi ho toh... tum bataoge ki ye yaha kya kar raha hai aur nandu ko kya hua...??
And cabir just explained her everything... from manik's call to he reaching there on time to save nandu... and navya was shocked... and Mukti was blank...
Mukti: par cabir... usne aaj se pehle esa kabhi nai kiya... fir acchanak... kya ho gya...
Cabir: mujhe bhi kuch samjh nai aa raha... kal hum usse puchne ki try karenge...
Navya: (to manik) aur tum vaha kya kar rae the...?? Tumhe kaha tha naa ki usse dur rehna...
And then cabir to control the situation... as he knows in these two years... navya has become over possessive about nandini... and if manik answered her question then she will go out of control...
Cabir: when is abhi coming...??
And navya gave a furious look to cabir... knowing what he is trying to do... and cabir gave her a pleading look as if telling her not now... plz...
Manik: vo he will come by tomorrow... I asked him to come early... and he instantly agreed to come...
...
It was 10 min.. since there was silence... as now it was not the same... they were remembering their old days... when they never remained quiet even for a min.. and now they don't have anything to talk...
But actually It's not that they don't have anything to talk... it's just the awkwardness... and pain... of staying away from each other for such a long time... which ws not letting them to talk...
They all were lost in their past memories.. just then manik's phone buzzed which brought them back to reality... and it was abhi's msg... I HAVE BOARDED THE FLIGHT... WILL BE THERE BY TOMORROW 4 PM...
and manik informed them about the same... and saying this he just got up and said... I THINK I SHOULD TAKE A LEAVE... and they didn't said anything... but as he was about to step out... Mukti's voice stopped him...
Mukti: (with affection) manik ... stay here only...
(Manik turned back...and Mukti changed her expressions to cold ones and said...) vo kal alya aur dhruv bhi morning mai hi aa jayenge... and we have to observe nandini from morning only... so we can leave from here directly... as her place is not far from here...
And manik looked towards other two as if asking for permission... as he also didn't wanted to go far from them into that lonely house... and in return cabir just nodded and navya walked to her room's direction... closing the door behind...
But Mukti said... u can take that room pointing towards room in the corner of the house... which was basically the guest room...
With all of them retired to their rooms...

Scene was no different in all three rooms (Manik , cabir and Mukti's ) as they were travelling back in time... where they were happy as Fab 5... enjoying their lives... night passed like this and they dozed off... as next morning they will be face to face... to all the left members of the past... for manik they were dhruv and aliya... and he was tensed how will they react... on seeing him...
And for Mukti that past person was abhi... whom she's gonna meet after approx. 3 years...

Morning 8 am at ANGEL'S VILLA...
Manik was awake... as he was very tensed as well as desperate to see his remaining two friends... so he just came out of his room... and then roamed around to see the house... and then he noticed... some awards that were kept in the shelf in the living room just above the fire place... he moved there... and got to know that they were of aliya's best designer awards and some were of Mukti's social service awards... as he was standing there he saw a hidden photo frame... he was about to see it but then he heard foot steps... behind him... and turned around... only to find HIS BUDDY standing there with shocked face and tears in his eyes... and seeing him even manik got tears in his eyes... and then he thought dhruv will also blame him for everything... but what he did shocked manik... very much...
...
He just hugged him tightly... and started crying... now both were crying... hugging each other...as after such a long time they were seeing each other... but then dhruv said ... still hugging him... I M SORRY BUDDY... PLEASE... FORGIVE ME BUDDY... PLEASE I M VERY VERY SORRY... !!! His sudden sorry again shocked manik...as he thought... this would have been his lines then why was dhruv saying sorry... so he abruptly broke the hug... and looked at him... but before he could ask him ... alya came and flung into his arms... and said... MANIK... WHERE DID U GO...??? WE MISSED U... AND I M VERY SORRY... SORRY FOR EVERYTHING... MANIK... and manik was again shocked that why she also was saying sorry... then he just broke the hug and said...
Manik: Why are u both saying sorry ... it's all my fault... I should be saying sorry for what I have done...
(But he was cut in between by dhruv )
Dhruv: and because of whom u left... ?? It was because of me and aliya only... u had to take this step... I m sorry buddy...
( Manik ws just nodding his head in no.. plz.. don't say this...)
Manik: nai buddy fault is mine... it's because of me today u and aliya...
(He left the sentence in the middle... as he saw both of them looking here and there... as if trying to avoid this topic... and he understanding this just said...) So u both forgive me...??
Aliya and dhruv: NO...!!
Aliya: u left us just like that... u left nandini just because of us...!! And now she has lost herself... but we are with u... and we will bring her back... as I know since u are here... u will bring her back...
Manik was so happy ...!! Atleast two of his friends were by his side... now he was not alone...!!! But then he said... HOW U GUYS CAME TO KNOW... ABOUT ME...
Then a voice came from back... MAINE...and manik turned back... to find CABIR standing there...
Cabir: maine bataya... mai lene gaya tha dhruv ko airport and then aliya also reached home at the same time...
...
Then they after freshening up... left for nandini's place... to start with their observing... they reached and saw her sleeping in her room... and manik was outside the room... because they were not sure if nandini will be sleeping or... not... how will she react... after seeing him... so he understanding this stood outside her room... then the whole day they observed her... like her diet which was only a bread... that too was given to her forcefully... then they noticed today she was more lost... as if feeling something different... and so was becoming restless... and then she demanded her drugs... because she was not able to handle that uneasiness... to which she was denied again... but then she just stood up... and moved to terrace again... like the previous night... and said standing at the edge... I LL JUMP NOW... IF I WILL NOT GET... IT... JUST GIVE ME MY PACKET... NAI TOH I WILL JUMP...
Everyone pleaded her not to do this... but eventually ended up giving her that packet... which she just consumed in full speed... as if she will just die the very second if would not have consumed it...
All others were feeling helpless... on seeing her like that...and then she slept... and they all moved out of her house... only navya and aliya stayed back... there... as navya didn't wanted to leave her and aliya came after a long time so thought of staying there... and with that she didn't have to face dhruv again and again...
...
On their way back... manik got a call from abhi that he has reached... and then manik informing others left to bring him... saying that he will meet them directly at their place...
...
At 5 pm Angel's villa-
Manik and abhi came out of the car manik did not tell him anything about his friends being here... and said when they will reached he will tell him everything... and as they entered inside... abhi froze on his path...as he saw... his love ... his Mukti standing there... and he saw longing and love in her eyes which she was trying her bst to hide... but as it's said ... PYAAR CHHUPAYE NAI CHHUPTA... then Mukti just ran up to him and hugged him tight... and he responded with equal favour...
...
They pulled apart and moved inside... and though they knew their talk was pending... but... now nandini was more important... and then all of them settled... and narrated everything to abhi... by the time they finished ... it was 8 pm... and then... they asked abhi... what can be done... then abhi said... THE WAY U ALL HAVE TOLD... ONE THINK THAT I HAVE NOTED IS ... THAT MANIK'S SUDDEN DISAPPEARANCE HAS AFFECTED HER VERY BADLY... AND WE NEED TO MOVE STEP BY STEP... TO BRING HER BACK TO NORMAL... AND FIRST STEP TO THIS IS ...

So here I end this part... u keep thinking... what could be the first step to bring her back..?? What will happen when Mukti and abhi will confront each other regarding the past...?? And plz let me know u want an elaborated conversation of abhi and Mukti about their past... or want me to write about manan only...??
