does time ever stops? yes it stops in our memories as those priceless moments which we spend with a person we love.. ask a lover for he will tell you that time stops when his beloved is in his arms melting herself, time stops when she smiles, when she blushes. time stops when he kisses her like it is the first time and like it is the last time..
stop was also stopping for manik and nandini who were making millions of memories with every passing second.. seated next to each other in the business class seat this journey from mumbai to london was going to be memorable one for them.. as the flight took off nandini took out the camera that gets the instant pics.. she clicked a pic of both of them together and once the photo was dried she stick it in a slam book which was named "MaNan Always & Forever.." "MaNan? what's this nandini?" manik asked to which she smiled and replied "MaNan is Manik and Nandini MaNan.." and winked at him.. manik felt elated and his happiness was reflected in his twinkling eyes and his smile.. he bent forward and kissed nandini's forehead who just blushed in reply.. she captioned the photo as "our new beginning.." she then looked at him excitedly and said "manik we will keep all our memories in this slam book.. it will be our way of stopping the time and going back whenever we want.."
manik was overwhelmed with her words.. he never ever imagined that somebody could live him so much.. he learnt to find happiness in every small thing, he learned to express his needs, he learnt to value relationships.. buoyed with joy and love he bent forward to kiss nandini fe he heard cabir shout "manik stop.." and it didn't take him long to figure out the kabab mein haddi i.e one and only cabir .. "che che che manik public mein yeh sab.. tauba tauba.." cabir said laughing.. manik rolled his eyes and nandini blushed.. seeing this the rest of the gang joined with mukti pulling nandini's legs saying "nandini get used to it.. this is just the beginning.." this was followed by a round of laughter.. if everyone was taking shots and manik and nandini how can abhi leave the chance behind.. e too jumped in the mass teasing session and said "its ok guys let them have some cozy time cz once we are in london its not couples sharing room but girls sharing room.." "what?" manik shouted at the top of his voice inviting non stop laughter from everyone..
amidst all this fun nandini slowly slipped to navya's seat who was sitting at the window seat and staring blankly at the passing clouds.. "its beautiful na.." nandini's voice broke her thoughts and she smiled at her faintly.. "navya" nandini kept her hand on her best friend's shoulder.. "you are my best friend the first person who loved me and supported me in this city.. you are my first friend before manik, abhi and cabir happened to me.. we shared so many smiles.. you've been my support when i was down... and navya i know you need me right now so please tell me what's bothering you? i want to help you.. i want my best friend back.." nandini said in a choked voice...
navya looked at nandini with tears in her eyes and hugged her tightly.. she was sobbing hard all the while.. "navya shant ho jao aur batao kya hua hai.." nandini asked and all navya could utter in her sobs was "nandini i am sorry tumhare saath jo bhi hone wala hai uske liye i am very very sorry nandini but hamare paas koi option nahi hai.." saying this navya ran in the loo leaving a visibly scared nandini and tensed manik and cabir who overheard everything... manik was fuming in anger and was ready to massacre navya but was stopped by cabir saying that there must be something wrong with navya and she must be under pressure..
"have you lost it cabir.. you are defending her.." manik fumed in anger.. "no manik i have not lost cause i know navya.. she's not the girl to harm anyone.." cabir defended navya but manik was not ready to take in any reason "why are you supporting her so much?" manik asked and which led to cabir finally blurting out "because i like her.. yes manik i do... my love for navya may not be as mad as yours for nandini but manik its still love and i know her she's not the kind of girl.. didn't you see she was apologising to nandini for hurting her.." at his point even nandini came in support of navya and cabir and said "yes manik.. cabir is right please calm down.. mere liye please.." and finally nandini's words did the trick and manik calmed down and said to cabir "i am sorry dude.. i was so worried that i forgot what i was saying.." cabir smiles and playfully hit him on shoulder asking him to take it easy as he would handle navya and get the truth out of her..
after lot of fun and frolic the flight was on its last leg when they all settled on their places and fastened the seat belts.. nandini took the window seat and manik wrapped his arms around her.. finally the could see the city lights albeit they looked like teeny - weeny stars.. "manik see for the first time i feel i have stars under my feet.." an excited nandini said smilingly while looking through the window.. she was smiling and manik found his peace in her smile.. he found his solace in her laugh.. the twinkle of her eyes were his trophy.. her love for him was his greatest treasure.. "manik i am very excited i am so excited.. this is the first time i have been to london.. tum aaye ho kya?" she asked turning to him.. manik smiled and said "yes i have been here many times earlier.. in fact london is our favourite holiday spot.. fab5 comes here for twice or thrice during the year.."
"wow you've seen the world.." nandini said a faint smile.. "and all i have seen is mangalore and few other cities of india which i barely remember as i was a kid.." manik cupped her face making her look into his eyes "i might have seen places nandini but i found my world in you.. and as far as world tour is concern we have our whole life to explore and i want to experience and explore everything with you.." hearing this nandini smiled at her brightest and said "you know manik no one has ever done anything like this for me.." Manik kissed her hands and said "nandini! as i said this the new beginning for us.. there will be many trips like this but this our beginning forget everything else and just enjoy baby.." saying this he kissed her forehead and just then the announcement came for the landing asking them to fasten their seat belts and they complied...
soon they all found themselves at the immigration line at heathrow airport.. nandini was mesmerized by the gigantic airport and the people in it.. she was looking all around with much excitement and enthusiasm while they all waited for their luggages.. manik found her lost in the crowd at the arrivals terminal.. "what are you looking at nandini?" manik asked.. "their faces.." nandini replied turning to him "look at them manik the happiness and anticipation of seeing their loved ones.. those tears of happiness.. those bone crashing hugs they are all so real.." nandini said as manik got lost in her words.. she shook him up and showed him a couple who were just reunited and kissing like it was the last time... "look at them manik.." seh said and manik raised his eyebrows saying "you also wanna try it.." with a smirk.. "manik!" she showed some fake anger and continued "manik its not about their physical need its about their love.. their longing for each other.. its how much they missed each other emotionally.."nandini was about to say something when manik pecked her cheek making her go all red.. she showed him her big eyes and asked "what was that for?" "that's my longing for you nandini.. if that's what love is i can kiss you till death do us apart.." manik said while looking deep in her eyes and kissed her hands..
"if you guys are done can we leave?" Dj's voice broke their moment and they found the whole gang looking at them mischievously.. Manik rolled his eyes and warned them not to utter a word and cabir relied in their behalf 'ok sir.. but its due.." they all laughed and sat in the cars that came to pick them up.. all through the way nandini was super excited to see every major london landmark, the london eye, the clock tower, the buckingham palace.. the lights, the atmosphere, the crowd everything excited her about london.. "wow just wow this is so beautiful manik.. can you please take me through london as you know it so well.." manik was more than happy to hear her request and replied "yes princess your wish is my command.."
soon they all found themselves in front of a huge mansion.. it was of course malhotra mansion and much more bigger than the one in mumbai.. "wow manik!" everyone exclaimed as they made their way into the house.. it was lavish 9 bedroom 14 bathrooms mansion.. the victorian architecture, the opulence and richness everything about it mesmerized the crowd.. breaking their admire the ouse task dj announced "ok boys and girls! i have an important announcement to make! we are gonna have some rules in the house.. first nandini and mukti will share the room.. navya and alya will share hte room.. manik and abhi will share and dhruv and cabir will be room partners.. and rule number 2 and most important one no sneaking out of the room and changing partners in the midnight.. if people are used to sleep in each other's arms please say good bye to your habit for few days..." she said the last rule point towards manik and nandini leaving them blushed and everyone else laughing...
soon they were done with the dinner and retired to their respective rooms.. once in their room mukti and nandini changed into night suits and sat for some girl talk.. "by the way nandini aaj toh poor manik is gone.." mukti giggled and nandini blushed and meanwhile the boys were getting restless... "god abhi think of something.." a frustrated manik spoke to abhi who was busy playing rubic's cube.. "manik kuch nahi ho sakta aaja so ja.." abhi said laying down.. but manik pulled the blanket from him and said "ho sakta hai tu bas ruk aur dekh.." and he smirked.. abhi sighed and mumbled 'baba manik ki jai.." it was midnight mukti was sleeping fast but nandini poor soul couldn't sleep.. she was missing her favourite pillow, she was missing him.. she sat up and made a sad pout just then she heard a knock on the door.. she got scared for a moment but then realized it must be manik who would definitely figure out a way to be with her... she opened the door and found abhi.. "abhi tum?" she asked.. abhi smiled and said "pata hai manik ko expect kar rahi thi woh tumhara terrace pe wait kar raha hai jao aur mujhe apni jaan ke aas jaane do.." saying this he pushed nandini out of the room; went in and locked the door...
nandini slowly opened the door of the terrace and looked around... it was a clear starry night in london a rarity though.. there was a mattress, few pillows and blankets placed in the middle along with a heater and there were candles surrounding them... she smiled as she knew it has to be manik.. "manik...manik.." she looked around on finding him and heard the guitar being strummed and his soulful voice filled the atmosphere..

"wow manik.. this is.." nandini was about to say something when manik susshed her by nuzzling his face on the back of her neck.. she closed her eyes and clutched his arms which were across her waist.. "nandini.. this is just the beginning.. i want to and i will make every moment of this trip and the rest of our lives more romantic than this.."
every moment is special with the one you love.. every trouble seems small when your beloved is in your arms.. the whole world might be a beautiful place but for you that one person in whose eyes you see unconditional love makes up your beautiful world... i believe in true love.. i believe in love at first sight.. i believe love conquers all and for that i don't need to look into epic love stories for love is the magic that throws miracles in everyday life...
