she was a perfect.. a princess in her own accord; blessed with the most beautiful smile to light up a dull day.. her eyes spoke the words that her heart wanted to speak..she was ocean of love innocent and naive who saw good in all; yes she was the perfect girl but she was alone.. she longed for love; she longed for someone to come and embrace her where she forget all her worries.. she was a girl who wanted to be loved not by the world but by only one for whom she was the world.. she was the girl who wanted to be kissed so badly that she would doubt her own sanity.. though she was a perfect girl but at the end of the day she was just a girl...

nandini was pacing up and down in her room not knowing how to handle the situation at hand.. there was manik at one end; the most stubborn person to roam on earth and on the other hand it was ams.. she knew manik won't go anywhere he would still be right there and she was right.. as soon as she came in the balcony she saw manik lying down on the bonnet of the car and watching stars oblivious to the mayhem he was wrecking on her.. he was so lost in star gazing and smiling that he didn't notice her presence.. he was lost in stars and she was lost in his smile.. "nandu.." ams voice broke there trance and manik looked up to see nandini was flushed and petrified and looking at him with petrified eyes..

but manik being manik was enjoying this.. he winked at her and blew a kiss to her making her more irritated.. "uff yeh larka!" she stomped her feet and walked in while manik smiled and resumed his job of star gazing while checking his mobile every now and then.. "ho aiyappa! isse easy toh everrest climb karna hai that too without sweater.." nandini murmured in herself.. "are nandu whay haven't you changed yet?" ams asked her while setting the bed.. "yes ams!" nandini replied with a low tone an walked in the washroom to change.. although manik was the most expressive one of his desires and took the first step in their relationship that never meant nandini's needs and desires for him were any less.. but being a shy girl she would always take a step back.. she knew manik wanted to be with her as much as she wanted to be with him.. her poor heart was sinking knowing its gonna be along night for both of them..

she ran out of wash room as she heard rishabh's loud cries.. he found her hugging ams and crying, nandini got scared and asked him what happened.. instead of rishabh ams answered "sorry nandu! rishabh is crying that im not sleeping with him.. he wants to hear me sing a lullaby to him.. so beta he is younger na please understand i will sleep with him.." and she walked out of room.. as they were walking out of room rishabh looked back at her and winked and blew a kiss.. and it didn't take nandini a nano second to understand that it was manik... as they went out closing the door behind first thing nandini was to lock it and soon she saw manik malhotra jumping in the balcony with a victorious smile on his face..

"well that was easy!" he said as he walked in.. "manik you are too much! you used rishabh?" nandini was blabbering while manik was gazing at her non stop.. suddenly she realized his gaze and went quite.. "nandini i can turn the world upside down to be with you.. don't you ever dare to underestimate and for your kind information i didn't use him he offered to help.. you know im quite a charmer.." manik said while pulling nandini close to him with a jerk.. his grip on her was quite strong wrecking a havoc on her.. he gripped her waist with his one hand and caressed her cheeks as she closed her eyes to feel his touch.. he pulled her close so close that his nose rubbed against hers and his breathe collided against hers creating an aura in itself and taking them both in it..

nandini shivered and came alive every time he would touch her.. every bit of her body would feel new as he his touch penetrated her skin and touched her soul.. "m..aaa..manikkk.." that''s all she could utter with trembling lips after much courage.. manik smiled on seeing his effect on her... he kissed her forehead and said "nandini relax... i won't cross any line not until you want me to.." nandini blushed at his commitment towards her.. and manik being manik how could he avoid the golden chance of pulling nandini's leg.. "waise bhi i don't wanna get slapped third time.. you have a great talent of slapping after kisses.." hearing this nandini's eyes popped out "Whatt?" she almost screamed to which manik had to shut her mouth.. "kya kar rahi ho marwaogi kya?" manik said trying hard to stop his laughter.. but nandini was not the one to give up she picked up a pillow and started hitting manik and soon it resulted in a full blown pillow fight.. after fighting for what was like an eternity and getting tired manik and nandini both slumped on bed and slept in each other's arms...

it was 6 in the morning when manik woke up to see nandini sleeping peacefully in his arms.. he looked at her innocent face and placed a small good morning kiss on her lips and got down.. he looked around the room and found it unkempt and dirty so slowly cleaned up the mess and left after leaving a note that he will be picking her up at 8 am... as soon as manik came down he saw a man entering with a huge bouquet.. he stopped the guy and enquired about it and was shocked to find out that this was for nandini with a note that read "to the most beautiful and special girl in the whole world.. You are only mine and only mine" manik took the bouquet as he knew that someone was stalking nandini.. but at the same time he couldn't tell nandini and stress her.. so called cabir and asked him to meet...

it was 7 am when nandini woke not finding manik around her.. but a cute smile came on her lips as soon as she remembered last night.. she was amazed to find the room tidied and realized it was manik.."nandu.." ams voice broke nandini's trance as she put his note in her diary and rushed down.. it was 8 am sharp when manik's car pulled outside nandini's home.. manik greeted ams and winked at chachi as a thank you making nandini blush..

soon they bid good bye to all and came out where nandini found cabir waiting.. as soon as they came out manik asked her in a serious tone "nandini do you have any other friends in mumbai apart from us?" nandini was surprised and said "no manik! but why are you asking this i don't know anyone apart from you guys.." hearing this both cabir and manik became tensed.. nandini held manik's hand and asked "manik what happened?" manik looked at her and then told her everything about the bouquet and showed the note to her.. nandini was a simple and innocent girl and for her all this stalking business was very very new.. so as she saw the note she got all scared "manik i don't know who is this trust me.. is he following me? how does he knows my address?" she was bombarding manik with question as panic struck her..

manik took her in embrace to calm down her nerves and said "nandini relax.. I am there nothing will happen to you..i promise.." he then broke the hug, wiped her tears and looked into her eyes and asked "do you trust me?" she nodded in a yes "then keep this trust intact.. as long as im there nothing or no one can harm you.." even cabir came and took nandini in a side hug and said "nandini relax we all are there for you.. now cheer up let's go to college.." soon they all drove off to college...

the rest of the day passed on peacefully without any further threats.. but manik informed everyone from fab5 and navya about the stalker of nandini and they all decided not to leave nandini alone for even a moment.. on the other hand nandini for whom all this was very new was scared like hell but she kept her nerves under control as she trusted manik more than herself.. it was 11 am when the rehearsal for romeo and juliet was in full swing, nandini was sitting in a corner with her script and looking at it blankly.. manik cam near her and called out her name few times with no response finally on not getting the response he had to shook her away and she looked at him with fear and tears in her eyes.. manik knew she was scared so he dragged her out and took her in an empty classroom..

"Manik what are you doing?" nandini kept shouting when manik susshed her.. "nandini!" he said huskily "look into my eyes.." and under the cast spell by is voice she looked upto him.. he took her hand and placed it on his hand and said "listen to my heart beats nandini.. what does it says.." not knowing what to answer she looked at him puzzled.. "it says nandini... my heart at 72 beats per minute says nandini.. you are my life.. and i love my love very very much.. so trust me when i can that nothing's gonna happen i mean it.." manik assured her.. nandini was in tears realizing the depth of his love for her...She crashed into his chest as if she's trying to hide herself from everyone and he enclosed his arms around her protecting her from every evil... they didn't speak a word after that as their silences spoke for them.. they both needed their silences to speak.. her fear vanished under his love...

to divert her mind from all this manik planned a shopping trip for all of them post lunch as their flight to london was just 72 hours away.. as soon as nandini heard shopping she got all excited about buying new clothes and woollens.. soon after wrapping up their lunch they all left for shopping except navya who stayed back claiming to have severe headache.. her behaviour raised a suspicion in nandini but she shooed away the doubts and left with her friends but cabir could not ignore those doubts and he decided to keep an eye on her...

life is not always about rainbows and unicorns.. if there is happiness there is bound to be sadness but they say nothing is constant except love.. if you have that one person standing next to you then every trouble seems small.. our ability to keep our courage and faith in love and our beloved strengthens the bonds of love and makes a relationship strong..
