Twinkle, I personally don't consider it a matter of how much information some ppl have and others don't.
Bottom line is simply that ppl are so nuts over this one pairing that trending is their salvation...it's like a drug for them...gives them some misplaced heady sense of power...and they forget that at the end of the day this is a mere TV show, not the be and end all of their existence.
I wonder...don't ppl feel even a tiny bit chastened when they see images on the news of hordes of families with little children displaced in crisis scrambling simply to be ALIVE and here ppl are busy obsessing over one fictitious character and a so called HEA?...that humanitarian crisis is reality...yet ppl choose to invest so much of their time and resources into trending for a mere TV show. What kind of world do we live in then where priorities are skewed in such a manner?
Where instead of channeling the power of a medium for good, ppl simply channel it for the sake of obsession? Unfortunate truth it is.
Twinkle, I feel you are extrapolating now.
Surely there is a difference b/w stating your views on a public forum v/s spending WEEKS trying to rally a mob for one cause. My point was about the misplaced notions at work here...and to give up even CALLING those out is to give up on a basic sense of expectations of self respect and common sense here. There are ppl dying in this world but we have an obsessive bunch at large trending for one random TV actor.
Anyways, more power to the happy band of trenders. If that is what helps them validate their existence, so be it. I find nothing to respect in such misplaced notions, it's rather pitiable to me. I feel the need to speak out when this kind of obsessiveness is hailed. That I don't agree with and don't see that as something to be encouraged...I personally am not going out of my way to stop these so called "effective" trending practices but I see no reason to be promoting the notion that this is what ppl should be channeling their resources into. It's not a matter of preaching, simply a matter of having atleast some integrity.

A very sensible Post!
I find S2 more realistic. I am happy seeing the other Cast getting their due and the CV's rectifying the mistakes committed in KY2 S1 and concentrating on 'Yaariyan'. I am also happy seeing Nandini strong and focused on her Career. Personally I don't think Creative freedom should be interfered with and the fans are trying to do exactly that. It is also not practical because Parth has moved on. If he is called back then he is going to demand a 'hefty payment' because of the popularity created by the trenders which is definitely not being fair with the other Cast. Also it is not realistic to show a HEA at this moment because S2 is built on the absence of Manik-Cabir and how the gang handles the situation. It is much more practical to call PS in the last episode just like it was done in Humse hae life with Himansh Kohli for a happy ending if necessary.🥱
D only thing fans need to do is just keep aside ur prejudice n watch S2. Are kaun se fans show dekhne se pehle yeh inquiry karte hai ke who is d writer creative director n director...We just watch d show n leave it if we dont like it...Do the same abt S2 n YOU WILL LIKE IT TOO...
