Manik - I'm sooo sorry. Mein ne purposefully nahi kiya.

Nandini just turned her face in anger and said "phir tumne yeh kyu diya" in a really angry tone, showing the 500 rupee note.

Manik - Oh. Woh mujhe laga..(he was stammering) Iske liye bhi sorry.

Nandini - Sirf sorry bolne se sab kuch teekh nahi hoga ! (Nandini made an angry pout)

Manik kept his hands on his head and said "Phir kyaa"

Navya - Nandu, yeh tumhare advocate hai, naukar(worker) nahi, aise kyoon behave kar rahe ho ?

Nandini - Lawyer naa, aise careless lawyer pe kaise believe karo ?

Nandini suddenly gets Aryaman's call and gets surprised.

Nandini - Aiyyapa ! ab yeh kyoon call kar rahe ho !

Navya - Tumhe isse chutkara chahiye na ! toh sit. Hamare paas koi option nahi hai !

Saying this she makes Nandini sit who is still reluctant. An embarrassed Manik tries hiding his face using a file while interacting with them.

Nandini keeps on getting call from Aryaman, and Manik notices the tension in Nandini's face, he asks her to attend the call and speak to him boldly, initially Nandini does not agree to it, but Manik gives her courage to do so.

Aryaman (over phone) - kaha ho , darvaza bandh kyoon hai ? (in a drunk tone)

Nandini - Mein ghar par nahi hoon.

Saying this she looks at Manik's face blankly as if waiting for his response. Manik murmurs some sentences which she says and cuts the phone.

Manik - Tum itna darr kyoon rahi ho ? Issi darr ka fyada uthatha hai tumhara husband ! Who tumhe kuch nahi karega. ( Manik assured her)

Nandini felt a little better hearing his words and concern towards her, after a long time she had felt secured.

Nandini - Sorry. (looking towards the floor)

Manik was a little confused, raising his eyebrows he asked " kyoon?"

Nandini - Mujhe tumpe overreact nahi karna chahiye dha. Sorry ! Tum utne bure nahi ho jitna meine socha dha.

Manik again raised his eyebrows and asked " toh mein todha sa bura hoon ?"

Nandini started laughing at his innocence and said "case ke bare mein discuss kare". Navya felt happy seeing Nandini laugh.

After discussing about the case for nearly 1 hour Navya and Nandini left taking another appointment for the next week. Before leaving Manik gave Nandini a paper which she had to make Aryaman sign. He asked Nandini not to take tension and gave his number incase if she had any problem.

Before the bid goodbye and started leaving when Nandini turned back halfway and smiled at Manik. She holded both her ears and said Sorry. Manik was touched by such a gesture of Nandini and a big smile came on his face.

Manik - Koi baat nahi hai, I hope ab hum friends hai.

Nandini walked towards Manik and extended her hand for friendship, he never expected such a response from Nandini but he too extended his hands.

After Navya and Nandini had left, Manik was resting on his chair when he suddenly got a call.

Manik - Hello, bol sale kya hai.

It was Cabir Dhawan his buddy on the other side of the phone. Unlike Manik, Cabir was a very carefree guy who had no plans about the future, who only partied day and night and loved pulling his friends legs.

Cabir - Major Saahab gusse mein hai. Kya baat hai.

Manik - Cabir ! Kaam ke waqt tung maat karo na ! waise kyoon phone kiya ?

Cabir - Haan who baas inform karne ke liye ki aaj party Mukti ki ghar pe hoga at 10. Mere mom ki sister aaye hai London se so mere ghar pen ahi ho sakta !

Manik - Party , my foot ! Kal party karne ke vajah se aaj mein late ho gaya ! Mujhe phir se late nahi hona.

Cabir - Kaam toh har din hota he nah! Big deal . Mujhe kaam hai, main nahi aa sakta (Cabir mocks Manik and starts laughing) Tu aa raha hai ! Varna SOha ke saath mein tumhare office aa javoonga !

Manik ( little shocked) - Soha ! no buddy. Aisa mat karo ! pichle baar kya hua dha tumhe yaad hai na ! office mein mera poora impression kharab kar diya usne !

Cabir - Haaan haan yaad hai. Isiliye toh ! Soha at your place ya Manik at Mukti's place. Tum socha haan ! And buddy take care mujhe mein thoda busy hoon ! byeee.

Cabir cuts the phone before Manik could say anything.
