CHAPTER 3

' Manik you know na we need to talk about something' neyonika said
'yaa mom actully I'm really tired I need rest' manik said changing the topic
'yess beta you take rest I'll see u with a mug of hot milk it will take ur stress away' she said sweetly and manik smiled and went to his room
He opened the door of the room and take a look around it was the same the way he left he entered and smiled
'So happy finally back to your room?' neyonika said standing at the door
'Yes mom I so missed ny room' he smiled 'Thanks for keeping it the way I left it' he said and hugged her
'ofcourse how can I make any changes as I know how much son loves his room and his single thing' she said he broke the hug 'you go and change' he nodded and left
After sometime he came back and saw his mom sitting taking the support of headboard with closed eyes he knew what his mom wanted to talk he was purposely avoiding the topic but his mom was also not going to give up so easily he went and sat near her and lied keeping his head on her lap neyonika woke up with this and started caressing his hair
'Manik' she called softly and he just hmmed taking it as an yes she continued

'What? mom how can you like seriously no mom plzz' she said stubbornly

He slept unaware of the fact that what tomorrow hold for him a big turning point

Next morning Murthy Villa

Anjali has instructed her clearly that not to go hospital today as she knew nandini would try her best to escape she had herself taken the responsibility of making her ready she got a pink and sea green saree for her she made her wear this with little makeup and loosened hair though they were not the typical indian family type but still she did all this it was 1 pm any anytime they would arrived the honk of the car made them aware that they have arrived and made nandini irritated she had kept a blank expression all the time
The servants opened the door and welcomed them anjali and mayank went to welcome them and anjali hugged neyonika'neyo its been so long u really fogot me' anjali complained
'how can I see that's why I'm here with my sons proposal' listening to their convo both their husbands chuckled
They settled themselves in the living area and anjali asked neyonika'where is manik and mukti? neyo'
'Mukti is out and manik would be arriving soon btw where is nandini?' neyonika asked anjali to which she asked to look behind and she saw nandini coming she and she said' see manik has also come ' neyonika said and that time both manik and nandini came in front of each other and got the biggest shock of their life
