Chapter 4 B
"Mano..!! Papa is also lefty..!!" Before Manik could say something Nandini told Manvi and she again smiled brightly.
"Also? Meaning? Manvi is also lefty?"Manik asked Nandini to which she smilingly nodded. And Manik was too much surprised. Too much similarities...!!
"Papa..!! Feed me na..!!" Manvi said to Manik and Manik feed her a spoon. Manik kept feeding her and Manvi feed him. Nandini felt her stomach was filling by seeing her love ones happy. She didn't ate a single morsel but kept staring at them. Both of them were busy in their feeding session.Suddenly Manvi looked at Nandini.
"Papa..!! Mama is not eating anything..!! You feed hel(her) na..!!"Manvi suggested and MaNan looked at each other. Although Manik was angry on Nandini but he knew he love her so much..!! He needed answers but he can't let Nandini's health compromise over it..!! He knew Nandini must have reasons..!! And he also knew that he will surely get the truth from her..!! She can't hide anything from him..!! He had to act maturely..!! He can't afford losing Nandini and Manvi again..!!
"Hmmm..!! Good idea Manvi..!"Manik said smilingly. "Nandini come here..!!" Manik called her and gestured her to sit on the seat beside him and Manvi. Nandini quietly sat beside him. Manik feed her a spoon full with chocolate pie and Nandini felt it difficult to gulp it because of emotions. Tears rolled down her cheeks. Manvi was busy in eating pasta with her hands and MaNan were looking at each other.Manik encircled his one arm around Nandini's shoulders and she rested her head on his shoulders.
"Don't cry Nandu..!! Manvi preshan ho jye ge..!!"Manik whispered in Nandini's ear and kissed her hair.
"Manik I am sorry..!!"Nandini too whispered.
"I trust you..!! Shhh..!"Manik again whispered and Nandini felt like she was at peace now.She gently wiped her tears. Manvi was full now. MaNan were not hungry anymore.
"Papa..!! Ice cream khana hai..!!" Suddenly Manvi told him her wish. How could Manik refused his angel's wish.
"Ok..!! So aj Papa,Mama aur Manvi will eat ice cream..!!Chalo let's go..!!" Manik said and again picked up Manvi in his arms. He held Nandini's hand and with other he held Manvi close to him and walked out of the house. Nandini was quietly walking with Manik holding his hand tightly and Manvi was constantly blabering with Manik and he was listening to her very carefully.
"Papa..!! You sang so well today..!! Hai na Mama..!!" Manvi said to Manik and tried to include Nandini in the conversation to which she simply nodded.
"Papa..!! Sing fol(for) me na please?" Manvi pleaded and Manik nodded. They reached an ice cream vendor. He bought three ice creams and the whole family started licking ice creams. Manik quickly finished his ice cream because he had to fulfill his angel's wish. They were walking back to their house.
"So should I start Princess?" Manik asked Manvi and she cutely nodded. Nandini's grip on Manik's hand became more tight which he felt clearly.
Manik started:
Pal, do pal, ki hi kyun hai zindagi
Iss, pyar, ko hai sadiyaan kaafi nahi
(Manik sang to which both love of his life smiled brightly)
Toh khuda se maang lun
Mohalat main ik nayi
(Manik sang and Nandini became sad but Manvi was enjoying to her full)
Rehna hai bas yahaan
Ab door tujhse jaana nahi
(Manik sang looking at Nandini and nodded. Then he nuzzled his face in Manvi's hair to which she laughed out loud)
Jo tu mera humdard hai

(Manik sang and slowly danced with Manvi and Nandini. Nandini was just looking at him. [Has he forgiven me? she thought])
Teri muskurahatein hain taaqat meri
Mujhko inhi se ummeed mili
(Manik sang looking at Manvi and she smiled brightly)
Chaahe kare koi sitam ye jahaan
Inme hi hai sadaa hifaazat meri
(Manik look at Nandini both were still in pain)
Zindagani badi khoobsurat hui
Jannat ab aur kya hogi kahin
(Manik sang looking at Manvi lovingly. She was really his heaven now..!! Manvi was rubbing her eyes now. She was feeling sleepy)

(Manik continued. Manvi dozed off in his arms and they reached home)
Wooo...
(Manik went in Manvi's room and Nandini stayed outside she was in pain)
Teri dhadkano se hai zindagi meri
Khwahishein teri ab duaaein meri
(Manik sang in a whisper covering Manvi with the blanket. He kissed her heart and pecked her forehead. Seh smiled in sleep)
Kitna anokha bandhan hai ye
Teri meri jaan jo ek hui
(Manik sang admiring his little angel who was the main reason that now Nandini was so close to him)
Lotunga yahaan tere paas main haan
(Manik sang and came out of the room he saw Nandini standing there. He held her hands)
Waada hai mera mar bhi jaaun kahin
(Manik sang as tears started flowing from the eyes of both and Nandini shook her head in a no)

Jo tu mera humdard hai
(Manik sang and Nandini gently placed her head on his chest. Manik encircled his arms around her)
Nandini started sobbing and Manik shushed her by rubbing her back.
"Nandini..!! We need to talk..!!"Manik said slowly breaking the hug and Nandini nodded.
"You will tell me the truth...!! Right Nandini?" Manik asked cupping her cheeks.
"Look baby if you are afraid of someone na..!! You don't need to be..!! YOUR Manik is with you..!! I promise I'll protect you..!!" Manik said in a reassuring tone and she nodded.
"I will tell you everything Manik..!! But promise me..!! Kay tum Manvi ko kuch nahi honay do gay..! Promise me that you will protect her..!!" Nandini said crying badly.
"I promise..!! I'll protect you both..!!"Manik said and made her sit on the sofa. Nandini rested her head on his shoulder holding his hands tightly. Manik was guessing something. "Nayonika..!! If you are behind all this na..!! Tou I swear..!! You will pay this time..!!" Manik thought to himself.
