CHAPTER 5:
Recap: Manan at meeting with Mr.Dhawan.
Nandini returned home after the meeting.
Meera Ma: How was it beta?
Nandini: It went well ma. He was impressed.
Meera Ma: matlab the deal is ours?
Nandini: Nooo. Manik was also there. He got impressed by him too.
Meera Ma immediately stood up.
Meera Ma: matlab the deal is their?
Nandini: Aiyooo. No. He said he needs to discuss with his board members, so another meeting soon.
Meera Ma: Yeh malhotra's ka kuch karna padega
Nandini (wispered): bas ho gayi shuru!
Nandini: oh by the way, kal mr.dhawan has a party at his place. They invited us their too.
Meera Ma: perfect! Tum challi janna.
Nandini: ohkay.
(She proceeded to her room to freshen up!)
As soon as she entered her room, she was greeted by smurfy coming running to her.
She cuddled & played with him for a while and retired to sleep.

Next moring she woke up when a pillow was smashed on her face. She woke up with a jerk.
She was immediately hugged by a known loved face.
Nandini: pehle sajja phir mazza haan?
Mukti: Ofcourse!
Nandini: kab ayii?
Mukti: two hours pehle. Ghar gayii sabse milli then socha tujhe pyaar se neend se jagaun.
Nandini: yeh pillow, yeh pyaar se tha
Mukti nodded playfully.
Nandini: ajja phir thoda pyaar mai bhi karlu
She picked up the pillow and threw it on Mukti.
They both were running after each other. Their giggles filled the room with positive vibes.
Nandini: acha..bas bas bas chill
Mukti: jaldi se freshen up mai chatt pe wait kar rahi hun, lets have breakfast together.
Nandini: alright!!
Nandini quickly took a bath and changed into a beautiful pink and white suit.
She kept her hair open, took her phone and hurried to the terrace.
She saw two little over cooked break pieces, two plates of little less fried omelettes and orange juice kept on it.
Nandini: yeh tumne cook kiya hai na?
Mukti: yupp!! Chal khatte hai
Nandini just gulped down the not so tasty food without complaining.
Nandini: hmm, juice amazing hai
Mukti: actually that's the only thing jo maine nahi banaya hai
They both bursted in laughter on hearing this.
Nandini's phone buzzed.
Baby <3 : Good morning Sunshine. They say a smile in the morning makes up the day. Dying to catch your smile today. Take care, love you lots.
Nandini smiled reading this.
Mukti snatched her phone and started reading the text.
Nandini tried to stop her but all in vein.
Mukti: nandu...pitegi tu. Baby and all chal raha hai and i have no clue about it
Nandini: nai vo mai batane walli thi bas
Mukti: ya right kab batane walli thi
Meera ma came from behind and said "kya batane walli thi?"
Nandini's POV:
aiyoo, meera ma ko bhi abhi hi anna tha.
Nandini: kuch..kuch nahi ma. Mukti bas assie hi ladti rehti hai mujhse
She elbowed mukti.
Mukti: han aunty bas vo essi hi..
Meera ma: anyways, nandu mai tumhe yeh batane ayi thi ki ajj no office for you
Nandini: but kyuu
Meera Ma: ajj vo party hai na Mr.Dhawan ki? I want you to look the best. So I've called the parlour lady home, she'll help you.
Nandini: but ma why all this
Meera Ma: bas! No more questions. I'm going to fusion, see you.
As soon as she left mukti continued
Mukti: han so, chup chap sab bata
Nandini: Manik, his name is Manik!
Mukti: and yeh sab kabse chal raha hai?
Nandini: two months (she blushed)
Mukti: wow, and i have no clue abouti it
Nandini: sorry na mukti, gussa mat ho please
Mukti: hmm, ek shrt pe
Nandini: anything you say !
Mukti: mujhe starting se love story janni hai
Nandini:sure
Mukti: by the way, yeh vohi mr. Dhawan hai na, amica walle (company's name)?
Nandini: han you know him?
Mukti: actually unka son, cabir he is my very good friend. He was their in pune too. So even i am invited party mein
Nandini: wow that's great news.
Mukti: Finally we both can have our crazy fun at a party after long
Nandini just smiled a little.
Mukti: wait a moment, Manik hoga wahan?
Nandini: umm,yeees!
Mukti: tabhi itni choti si smile di humare girl time pe..huh huh...dekh lungi tujhe mai (she acted)
Nandini: but its a great opportunity, tum nmanik se mil sakti ho ajj party mein..don't you wanna meet him?
Mukti: hmm, sounds great.
Nandini: now can I have my phone back? Reply karne do (she said politely)
Mukti: bilkul nahi. I have a plan.
Nandini gave a questioning look.
Mukti: tu ajj usse full day bilkul baat nahi karegi. No meeting no call no messages.
Nandini: no no no bilkul nahi
Mukti: Ofcourse han yaar. Dekh tu usse full day avoid kar and party mein ekdum different avtar mein jaa, stunning looks, vo pagal ho jayega trust me!
Nandini: mukti are you sure? (She said in a low tone)
Mukti: yes I am. Bahaut mazza ayega.
The rest of the time they were busy with dressing up/makeup/hair etc.
Nandini's phone kept buzzing by his texts and calls but mukti didn't allow her to respond to even one.
Mukti: wuhooo. You look HOT! He's gonna get his reward for waiting for so long haan.
Nandini: umm..han thanks (she said while blushing)
Mukti: chalien? Ready to rock? (She winked)
Nandini: can't wait for him to see me like this (she was really happy.)
They sat in the car and headed towards the party.
