Chapter 6: Manik's day was really uneventful. He was constantly trying to reach Nandini, but all in vein.
He couldn't go at her place, thanks for their families' rivalry. He called at her office reception too with a fake name, but knowing that she hadn't turned up made him worry even more.
Manik's POV:
Where the hell is this girl? Kya karuu? Should I go to her place? His thoughts were disturbed with nyonika walked in his cabin.
Nyonika:
Manik why are you still here
Manik:
still here matlab?
Nyonika:
you have a really important party to attempt
Manik:
I don't feel like going to any party mum please Nyonika:
Manik, Mr.Dhawan's party, you can't miss it.
Manik remembers Nandini being invited too."
Maybe vo wahan aaye?" He thought.
Manik:
ohkay. Mai nikalta hun
He rushed to the party venue.
Nandini and mukti reached before him.
Nandini:
mukti yar manik kahin nahi hai Mukti:
chill, aa jayega Nandini:
i hope vo mujhse gussa na ho
(Nandini was now getting tensed)
Manik finally came.
He saw Nandini standing with some tall girl at the corner. She was looking down and seemed upset.
But relief came to Manik on seeing her alright, on seeing her infront of him.
Mukti:
I'll get myself a drink nandini
Nandini:
ok, I'll wait here.
While mukti was proceeding to the drinks corner she saw a guy (Manik) staring at Nandini.
She went up to him.
Mukti:
sharm nahi atti ladkiyon ko esse ghurte hue Manik gave her a disgusted look.
Mukti:
look kya de rahe ho. Uska boyfriend abhi yahan anne walla hai bas, chalo niklo yahan se, vo aa gaya na toh bahaut marega Manik smirked listening to this.
Manik: (made a funny scared look)
aur tumhe kisne bola uska boyfriend mujhe marega? Mukti:
tumhe usse kya..chalo niklo yahan se ab Manik:
hellow madam. Mai hi hun uska boyfriend, Manik Malhotra. Mukti's face became 'O' listening to this.
Mukti:
ummm, sorry! Manik:
yeah you should be
He chuckled and was about to leave.
Mukti:
ruko ruko ruko, kahan jaa rahe ho?
Manik:
apni girlfriend ke pass (he gave a look)
Mukti
: tum dono banda bandi ko sab kuch mai hi sikhaungi kya Manik:
what?!? Mukti:
tum ek kaam karo, yahan se left door leke first room, wahan koi nahi hai wahan jao
Manik:
aur mai tumhari baat kyu mannu?
Mukti:
because mai uski bestfriend hun!!
Manik:
Oh, mukti? Mukti:
yes!!
Anyways, wahan jao mai nandu ko wahin bhejungi..jitna ishq ladana hai wahin akele mein kar lena (she giggled, winked & left)
Manik:
arre but listenn!!
Having no option left he went to the room as directed by Mukti.
Without wasting time, Mukti went to Nandini
Mukti:
kya? chehra kyu latka rakha hai? Nandini:
i think, i think manik mujhse upset ho gaya..its all my fault (Her eyes became teary)
Mukti
: arre arre arre, no nandu. Chup ekdum. Agar vo yahan aya and if he sees you crying you think he'll feel any better? Nandini nodded in a
NO!
Mukti:
chalo fir go and wash your eyes. Bilkul pata nahi chalna chaiye ki tum upset thi. Yahan se left leke first room, vo visitors use ke liye hai. Go and use the washroom there.
Nandini gave a faint smile and left.
Mukti's POV:
Ab yeh majnu laila milenge, ab ayega mazza.
"Mukti...whatsupp!?" A familiar voice yelled.
"
Cabirrr. Heyy!"
Cabir:
akele kyu khadii hai?
Mukti:
ek secret hai (she wispered)
Cabir:
kya (he also wispered)
Mukti:
mai na cupid hun bahaut baddi aww (she patted her back and laughed)
Cabir:
accha? Essa kya kiya tune?
Mukti:
Meri bestfriend, nandini and uske boyfriend Manik ko room mein lock kar diya.
Cabir:
Nandini? Nandini moorthy? And manik malhotra? Vo log couple hai? (He almost yelled in shock)
Mukti pinched him.
Mukti:
shhh! Dheere. Yaah, i know unki families hate each other but nandini and manik have a different equation.
Cabir:
wahh, love and lovers, uff.

Ohkay before you all come with chappals to me, promise next full update would have ONLY Manan. Promiseee. :D
Oh and the last part, cupid meets cupid. Cabir kyy mein cupid and iss story mein cupid. :p
Also, this story is a short one, just two/three parts more. :)
