CHAPTER1:

Nandini saw his text message and smiled to herself.
She was sitting in her cabin, but deep engrossed in his thoughts.

Nandini's POV:

Gosh, how much I love him. Lunch date today, too excited.

Suddenly Meera ma entered in her cabin to discuss about some project.

She saw Nandini thinking about something and smiling.

Meera Ma:Nandini?

Nandini didn't respond, she was still thinking.

"Nandini!?!" This time a bit louder.

Nandini was suddenly reversed back to reality.

"Han ma, app, han..haan kahiye na?"

Meera ma: kahan khoo gayi thi?

Nandini: kahin...kahin nahi.

Meera Ma: acha yeh proposal dekho. I think it's an amazing project.

Nandini took the file from her hand and started reading it

Nandini: I think in the long run yeh bahaut profitable ho sakta hai

Meera ma: yes. But iss client ko malhotra's ne bhi fetch kiya hai.

Nandini gave a different expression hearing their name.

Meera ma: we have to have this client on our side.

Nandini silently nodded.

Meera Ma: Kal meeting hai with him, make sure vo humare pass hi aye and not the malhotra's. Ok?

Nandini: Ji maa.

Meera ma smiled and said "Lunch time baby. Chalo!"

Nandini: vo i have lunch plans with mukti. So we're going out.

Meera ma: oh, alright. Have fun.

She left saying that.

Manik entered his Dad's cabin.

Manik: Dad you called?

Raj: yes sit

Manik took a seat

Raj: yeh dekho (passed a file to Manik)
Mr.Dhawan. new client.

Manik was going through the file and muttered a low "Impressive!"

Raj: exactly. We need to bag this deal anyhow.

Manik: ofcourse we will dad. (Manik said confidently still going through the file)

Raj: Yeh stupid Moorthy's again in our way.

Manik immediately lifted his head and looked at him.

Raj: I know I know tum bhi soch rahe ho na ki yeh log apna kaam kyu mind nahi kar sakte..i know my son.

Manik kept quiet and looked down again at the file.

Raj: Kal meeting fix kar di hai maine tumhari with him.

Manik: but dad..

Raj: Manik. Only you can do this beta, I trust you. Yeh deal tum humare pass zaroor leke aoge.

Raj said patting Manik's shoulder.

Manik smiled and said "Ya..yes dad!"

Manik left the Cabin and his phone rang.

Caller Id: Baby

His face lit up immediately.

Nandini: Hmm..office mein ho?

Manik: han yaar.

Nandini: its 1pm sir. App bhul gaye?

Manik: Oh shit. Han sorry, I'll be there in 10 mins.

Nandini: chill baby. I'll wait..jaldi se chakkar mein don't drive too fast ok?

Manik: on my way baby. Bye.

They smiled and hung up the call.

So that was their life, Manan. Two lovers from rival business companies. That is why their pyaar was chupke chupke chori chori. ;)
