Yes even I noticed that they've opened up the cards such that both Nandu and Nyo hold some over each other right now...Nandu is learning more about the Malhotra equations and the weird family dynamics and Manik's complicated relationship with his father possibly too...so this will probably come into play soon.

I feel like the whole week or so has been a setup/tease of possible cards yet to be opened up. Nyo is going to be at the center of multiple arcs coming up.

They are actually setting this up well. Neither of them have a royal flush but both have an ace up their sleeve. The battle right now is poised to be equal on both sides but it will tip in Nandini's favour once Mr. Malhotra gets involved!

The thing about these mysteriously absent father figures in every show that suddenly turn up per storyline convenience is that they never live up to the "mystery" if you will...if Mr. Malhotra turns out to be a washout either writing or acting-wise, it will be a total waste so I'm not sure how much I'm looking forward to that character possibly being introduced.
