Hey guys am back with another update.
Part 14:
Love has to go through the biggest of obstacles. If it doesnt survive, then its not love. Will manik and nandini overcome the biggest obstacle they are facing? "The death looming over nandini". On one side there was nandini who was fighting with death to come back to manik and on the other side manik was shattered and broken waiting and praying for nandini to comeback to him.
Manik was sitting on a chair placed beside her bed with his head on their entwined hands. His grip was strong were her hands didnt respond. He didnt know when he dozzed off. Even in sleep he was muttering something. His nap was broken when he felt a strong grip on his hands. He woke up instantly and looked at their entwined hands. She was gripping his hands tightly as if he will vanish if she leaves him. She was mumbling something shaking her head. It was like she was having a nightmare. She was sweating.
"Nandini...nandini...open your eyes..nandu" manik called her to wake her but she didnt. She was mumbling and shaking her head. "Manik" nandni screamed and sat making her cry cuz of her wounds. "Aaahh" she cried out holding her stomach. "Its okay..its okay..you'll be fine" manik said, tears slowly flowing through his cheeks. Manik had already pushed the emergency button to call the doctor and they were in the ICU in no time. Manik was asked to stay out till they check her. Nyonika and dhruv was forced to go home by manik. Manik came and sat on a chair infront of the ICU. His moments with nandini flashing infront of his eyes like it just happened. "Mani..." he heard her voice calling his name in a soft whisper and a small smile crept on his face through his tears. "Nandini" he whispered her name and sighed "what are you doing to me?" He muttered to himself. He wasn't able to stop his tears.
After half an hour doctors came out. He wiped his tears and went towards them. "Doctor how is she?" Manik asked worried and terrified thinking what if something wrong happens. "Dont worry Mr. Malhotra, your wife is fine. She is a bit terrified. And for now we have given her some medicines so she is sleeping. About the wounds, it may take some time but be carefull no to stress her. She needs a lot of TLC. She is very scared." The head doctor explained and manik listened to each and every word carefully and muttered a thankyou and rushed into t.he ICU to see a pale nandini sleeping. Her face was ashen. She had a frown on her face showing her stress. Manik with his soft strokes rwmoved the frowns and gently kiised hervforehead, shoulder and her stomach. "Please recover soon" he whispered in her ears and gave a gentle peck on her lips which was now void of any colour. The view was heart shattering for manik but he had to hold on for him, for nandini and for their unnamed yet named relation.
He couldnt loose her at any cost. His whole lifecwas depended on nandini. From the waking up view of nandini in his arms to the warmth and lo e she has for him at night. His every second was dependent on her and so was he. Will this make manik realise his love? Now that he tasted the hell feeling of loosing his nandini, his wife, will he realise what is it that make him so much dependent on her?
They say love fades once married. But there are times when love is realised only after years of maariage. Love comes in all ways. Realised or not it is always there, it might just take a push for that realisation.
