Part 5:
Manik walked into the ooffice with his Serious face and cold attitude. Everyone who was gossiping till then rushed to their work seeing the glimpse of their angry boss. He went inside the cabin ignoring the wishes and looks everyone was giving him. He went into his cabin. He sat on his chair and opened his laptop and started working on it. He was so engrossed in his work that he didn't notice cabir entering his cabin. Cabir, manik's best friend and a director. He was cool and made everyone happy. He knew manik was concentrating on his work so he didn't disturb him and sat infrnt of his table.
While working on his laptop he started searching for something on his desk. Still not looking up from his laptop he shouted on too of his voice "NANDINI". " woo bro, yeh tumhara office hein ghar nahi so Nandini yaha nahi hein?" Cabir asked teasingly. Manik didn't knew what to answer so avoiding the topic he asked "tum kab aayi?" Manik asked confused. "Well I have been sitting here for the last 15mins" cabir said casually playing with a paperweight. "Y didn't u call me? U knw ryt wen it comes to work I frgt everything" manik said. "Ha woh mein jaantha hun but der is a correction" cabir raised his finger. Manik arched his eyebrows gesturing what "tum sab much nahi bhultha. I mean didn't forget Nandini" cabir said laughing making manik glare at him. "Aman" manik again shouted. Aman was manik's PA. Aman ran into manik's cabin wondering what he has done now. Aman knocked in the cabin door. "Come in" manik said angrily. Aman entered and asked "sir.." He couldn't complete his sentence. Manik burst out on him "how many times have I told u that I want everything ready before I come. Now were is d script of the new project." Manik shouted. "Sir woh.." Aman tried to speak but only to be cut off in the middle "sir woh kya? I had clearly told u I want that on my table, the first thing in the morning and now u r standing here trying to give excuses. Now go and get the file and this is ur final warning. One more mistake and u r fired" he shouted making Aman go numb. "Yes sir" Aman replied and ran for his life.
"Can't they do anything right. I had told him to make it ready and urrgh god!! These people..ek tharaf ek Nandini who does everything before I make it to words and d other side these stupid irresponsible frnds" manik mumbled to himself. "Chill bro" cabir said not knowing now it was his turn to get burnt with the volcanic eruption. "Did u get any girl for the new project. I told u last week that I want a new face as soon as possible." Manik asked with his concentration on laptop. Cabir stood up and said "let's go we can discuss this over a cup of coffee" manik nodded and came out of his cabin. Aman rushed to him with the file "keep it on my table" manik said with a hint of anger in his voice. Aman nodded and went inside manik's cabin to keep the file when manik and cabir went for a coffee.
---At Malhotra mansion----
Nandini was sitting on the bed in deep thoughts. A diary was on her lap and she was tapping her chin with a pen and occasionally scribbling something in the diary. Her chain of thoughts were broken by nyonika voice "beta come down" she kept the diary on the bed and went down. Nyonika was standing there with a deep red anarkali suit. "Wow ma this is beautiful. Aap ka hein ? But I have never seen it?" Nandini asked all the question in a go. "Dheere se.. Its new, mere liye nahi yeh tumhare liye hein. Much din pehle harsh me khaeida that tumhare liye but he forgot. When today morning he check the cupboard he saw this and asked me to give u" nyonika said giving it to Nandini. "Sachi..thankyu ma. Mein abhi papa ko bhi call karthi hoon" Nandini said taking out her phone. "No beta abhi nahi he said aaj he'll b busy with meetings and am." Nyonika said. "Oo theek hein mein shaam ko bathadungi" Nandini hugged nyonika and ran upstairs.
Harsh and nyonika made sure Nandini didn't miss her parents. They gave her gifts and surprises that she loves. Last time they gave a whole painting kit which had oil paints, glass painting things, poster colour, canvas and things like that. Nandini's joy had no limits. She was really talented but she didn't show it to anyone. She liked to b a house wife taking care of everyone. Nyonika accidently came to know about her drawing skills. One day Nandini was engrossed in something that she didn't hear nyonika calling her. Without getting a response nyonika panicked and ran to their room to find Nandini sitting on d floor with the support of the glass door of the terrace. That day nyonika forced her a lot to study drawing but Nandini refused. And asked not to tell manik. But she wanted to encourage Nandini so she gifted her a painting kit.
They made sure they give her everything she deserved and wouldve got if her parents were alive.

Manik and cabir was entering the cafe when a girl bumped into cabir. "Andha ho kya" the girl asked angrily rubbing her forehead. "Ha andha hoon tumhe koi problem hein" cabir asked irritatedly. "Aankhe hokar andha ho toh probkm mujme nahi tumhe hein. Bada aaya 'ha andha hoon mein'." The girl mimicked cabir. Before cabir could say anything manik broke into laughter hearing a girl mimicking cabir. Cabir gave him a 'are-u-serious-and-stop-being-stupid' look. And manik tried to suppress his laughter. "Sorry" manik said controlling his laughter. "Ooh Myy God!! Manik Malhotra" screamed the girl and fainted. "Oo Teri" cabir yelled as she fell on top of him. "Tum isse sambhal I'll order coffee for u too" manik said giggling and a frustrated cabir. "Kya yaar" he complained and picked her up and went to car and seated her on the back seat and took out a bottle and sprinkled water on her face.
She slightly opened her eyes and screamed seeing cabir "tum" she yelled. "Ek toh help karo upar se cheek bhi sunk? Hey bhagwan" cabir said annoyingly. She just huffed and went from there saying "thanks my foot". " unbelievable " he said retiring to join manik in the cafe.
-----evening at Malhotra mansion -----
It was a rare sight to see d whole family sitting in d garden enjoying the silence and beauty. It was a rare sight to see manik there. He would b so busy in his work that he wouldn't b able to spend evenings at home. Harsh and nyonika were sipping coffee and chatting, manik was working in his laptop and Nandini and dhruv were playing chess. "Dhruv u cheated " Nandini complained in a small voice. She didn't want to raise his voice in front of manik. "Oo plz Nandini, just because u always loose doesn't mean I am cheating" dhruv said mockingly. "U cheated dhruv..u always do" nandini complained like a kid. Dhruv just laughed seeing her. "Pata nahi kisne tumhe actor banadiya" she said turning her face. "Tumhare hubby be hi banaya hein mujhe actor" dhruv said poking her. She blushed hearing his name. "Manik ki junglee billi" dhruv instigated her. "Dhruv" her eyes widened. Before she could do something dhruv ran and Nandini ran behind him.
Harsh and nyonika laughed seeing a live tom and jerry show infrnt of them. Dhruv ran and stood beside manik and Nandini stopped in her tracks while dhruv smirked. "Ma..enik..wo..h..dhruv" she stammered and dhruv laughed. "Look mom, kaise Nandini ka voice gayab hua apne hubby ko dekhe" everyone laughed while Nandini blushed. Manik also joined in teasing her. She was blushing hard and trying to hide her face.
